This should allow the bg's to bluff to other teams and take them out, but also help their own team. I'm hoping that this keeps people from killing team members because they don't know who each person is, but it should also prevent everyone from having a detailed team knowledge, which keeps people from spamkilling. Because you have a bunch of killers, I felt like I needed a bunch of bg's and pl's, but there are still going to be a lot of knockouts each round. If bg works w/ insp, samurai are easy to identify, but again, because of bg bluffs, samurai still get a fair shot at winning. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether Samurai need to aviod nightkills. The thing is, I feel like avoiding nightkills would make samurai overpowered and I'm not sure how to do that anyway. If that did happen I would have many fewer samurai b/c I feel that there are too many right now... I don't like so idea of a lot of daykills...So yeah... my first theme, but I think it should be interesting and something people enjoy playing. I got the idea after taking a survey in team chaos and mafia... Hopefully it gets approved for testing at the very least...
i like it, but i hink we should test it so its not BORKED or anything also, avoiding nightkill samurai? make one of them do it, one of them dont lets be honest, in this game, with all the other roles, samurai is sorta up.

The theme is played similar like default, meaning most of the players have a "good" role (Republic side) but don't know each other, while the bad teams are much smaller, but know their partners in return. It's also a theme where the Inspector (Jedi Sage) can claim safely, because there are no evil daykillers. However, there is no typical PL role on the good side. instead, 2 of the mafia teams can distract (called intimidate here). But they can't distract the inspector, or he kills them ;-) Also new is that the inspector can't find out roles, he can only see bad/good. and 1 or 2 citizens and the vigilante (Jedi Shadow) will show as bad! The teams: Republic Jedi Sage can inspect. Jedi Guardian can protect. Jedi Seer gets hax on all! commands. Jedi Shadow can kill, but reveals as bad guy when inspected. Trooper can kill during standbye, but reveals himself and only is there in 25+ games. Smuggler can't be nightkilled. Senator votes as 3. Citizens can be millers without knowing it. But they always show as Citizen. Hutt Cartel & Exchange Mirrored teams. they can /kill and /intimidate (distract), as noted above. if you try to intimidate the boss of the other syndicate or the insp, he kills you. Both teams have same priority for their commands, so it's random which team moves first! Sith They kill first in the night. Apprentice has a vote of -3, Lord a vote of +4. The Lord also ignores intimidate and spyhax. Mandalorians The Warriors can kill (shared) and protect (not shared!). while both of them are in play they can protect each other and are only vulnerable if one of them is intimidated. Mandalore =/= Mandalorian Warrior. the Warriors can still be intimidated. also all 3 of them together only appear with 26+ players. Spy gets hax on the kill and protect, other killers will notice when their target is protected or evades the kill and can rand them out and with only 3 votes as a team they can't really countervote against other roles with multiple votes. republic has 2 Senators in games of that size with 3 votes each, Sith Lord has 4 even.

OK, ill prob change # of diablos and "diablos minion". Its not like castle, it has team reveal, less killers (like... a eigth of castle) and dosent have pointsless roles. Castle is way better? its like spamfest this is not, but ill prob reduce the amount of killers. (or at least nerf the killing teams)

It's centred around Masons as PRs, in contrast to default theme which pretty much revolves around Inspector/Bodyguard/Pretty Lady. Lack of bodyguard means that people can't just claim for free and lead the town for the entire game, and that claiming your role has an actual cost; namely, that you're dying the turn after. This is balanced by eliminating the serial killer from low-player games, thus lengthening games, allowing the town to decide the game through the lynch. Also, masons don't need to use a night action as they are already aware of at least 2 total players that are clean, meaning that dying during the night isn't as much of a cost for town as it is if an inspector dies. Theme should be quite balanced up until around 14 players, which is when a third faction appears. At 14 players and up, the increase in the # of night-kills will probably make the game either much easier for town (if there are a lot of xfires) or much harder (if there aren't any). Note: Serial Killer and Psychopath are bulletproof to make it easier for them to win, but they kill slower than the Mafia to try to balance it out. Edit: Reconsidering layout of roles2 (15+) for now, don't add this yet~
