:) I need a rectangle with weather animation (or no animation?), like in BW games. I would put that rectangle somewhere on the battle scene, so people know what weather it is.

Hey! I got caught up in some stuff so i didn't program too much for two weeks. I just fixed something on the C++ side today though, so i'll try to post a version here with possibility for users to create their animations - and the log format will have <br> removed in comments, but this is just a before-alpha release.

There are 2 battle windows, the regular one and the new one. Only works for singles, too. The only move implemented currently is leech seed. I'll post a guide as how to make other moves, tomorrow hopefully, so maybe i can gather some help :).

I dunno whether I should post it here or not since its not exactly an official update, but with this version PO crashes whenever I try to see who submitted specific answers in Trivia.
Found another quirk (most likely a bug) with this version. Whenever I leave a channel it asks me for my password again. If I enter it correctly the password box pops back up continuously until I press cancel. Edit: This part was false. was just the previous Trivia bug. Spoiler Everything seems fine after that. If I press cancel without entering a correct password once, PO crashes entirely.[/HIDE]
It doesn't ask for your password, it asks for the server password which it shouldn't. Just press [x] on it.
What I noticed, in the battle posted on Youtube. (Yes, I know this is in beta and is being worked on). But, Obvious one window is obvious. IMO the pokemon do need to be Bigger/Closer, the backrounds need serious work, I don't like the fact that they are trying to be "real" images, though, don't know what other images could go there...And we were only shown the one window, so I don't know what the other looked like, but it didn't have all the normal stuff it should have (Around the HP bar and etc). And, before each move it says something like "Used move (enter move number here) Psyshock!)...why? I wont say things about more animations or anything because I take that that is obvious...
We have already improved beyond that, and the version is an alpha for people creating move animations, not for people to play with!
Updated here. Uncheck "old battle window" in battle options to have animations. Still numerous things to fix. But now you have Leech Seed, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Substitute, Quick Attack, Uturn, Take Down and Rapid Spin working, and all in only one battle window.
Few bugs already spotted. That option is off by default and yet I see no animations. Timers are at 0:00 whenever a pokemon is on the field, they sit at 5:00 when during the lineup etc. I'll edit/post again if I find more. Edit: I crossed the box for old battle window then uncrossed, the battle window has changed to the animated one now. I still don't see the pokemon but thats probably my shit computer :(
You probably don't have proper support for opengl. You'll have to stick to old battle window. I know. I'm doing a huge cleaning up of the battle window, next release all past functionality about that will be restored.
Yes, i think so. The thing is I use a very rough version of opengl shaders to apply status to a pokemon (by coloring them with the color of the status) and that's why makes the pokemon sprites invisible if you don't have a minimal version of opengl...
