Oh yes, that is such an awesome set. It is has so many checks though because of it's abysymal speed. Therefore, running it with a CBtar (my prefered) or BOAH is really awesome as Tyranitar takes on most checks and counters to this set. Could also be run with CB or SD Scizor to mimick the Scizor/Lucario combo. I ususally run it like yours, only with Spore over Stone Edge/Sky Uppercut for an easier set up and Stone Edge over Seed Bomb if Salamence is an annoying switch in. Can't wait to try it out in Salamence less games! Maybe then I will run Toxic Orb and Facade over Life Orb and Spore since Spore is needed so Salamence doesn't have an easy switch in.

    UU
    Houndoom @ Life Orb
    Trait: Flash Fire
    EVs: 96 Atk / 216 Spd / 196 SAtk
    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Nasty Plot
    - Fire Blast
    - Dark Pulse
    - Sucker Punch

    Toxicroak (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Dry Skin
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance
    - Cross Chop
    - Sucker Punch
    - Stone Edge / Taunt

This is one of the best UU combos I've used. Mixed Nasty Plot Houndoom is an incredibly good sweeper, tearing through defensive cores like Registeel + Slowbro while thwarting the attempts of would-be revengers like Dugtrio, Alakazam and Mismagius. Pairing it with Toxicroak breaks Doom, though - the two have incredibly good synergy. Toxicroak can easily switch into the Milotic and Hitmontop that threaten to end Houndoom's sweep. Houndoom absorbs Will-o-Wisps from things like Weezing and Spiritomb as well as threatening bulky Grass-types. The two can use this fantastic synergy to weaken the opponent's core until one or the other can stat up and rip through the opposing team.

The two don't do so well against offensive teams, as Toxicroak cannot set up as easily on resisted hits from the likes of Blaziken. More aggressive opponents might carry threats like Venusaur, which can shut down Croak and threaten Houndoom with Earthquake or Sleep Powder if it attempts to switch in. Both Houndoom and Toxicroak are weak to Ground-type attacks; Rock Polish Torterra makes a fantastic complement to the duo. It rips through offensive teams, benefits from Houndoom's ability to come in on Tangrowth and Leafeon and absorbs the potentially problematic Thunder Wave.

My favorite combo atm is CB Machamp + Physical Sweeper (Currently SD Lucario)

    Machamp @ Choice Band
    252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
    Ability: Guts
    Nature: Adamant
    -Close Combat
    -Payback
    -Ice Punch
    -Stone Edge / Bullet Punch

    +

    Lucario @ Life Orb
    252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
    Ability: Inner Focus
    Nature: Adamant
    -Swords Dance
    -Crunch
    -Close Combat
    -Extremespeed

Basically, Machamp clears the way for every fighting resist with Payback, besides Gliscor and Gyarados. Who both do not enjoy taking a CB Boosted Close Combat (let alone if it gets a guts boost x__x). After that Lucario can come in pretty much whenever, SD, and go to town. Only problem with Machamp locked into payback is that Skarmory gets free spikes. But Skarmory hates lucario too so its whatever.

I've noticed a nice combo of Sandslash and Articuno in NU.

    Sandslash (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sand Veil
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Rapid Spin
    - Stone Edge
    - Stealth Rock

    Articuno @ Leftovers
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 252 HP / 216 Spd / 40 SAtk
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Ice Beam
    - Substitute
    - Roost
    - Toxic

Both sets are cut and paste stuff, but they have really good synergy. Sandslash spins away Stealth Rocks so Starmie can come in on things like Gastrodon and stall it out. Manectric troubles? Sandslash can help. Also worth noting that almost everything that counters Articuno (short of, say, Espeon) is owned by Sandslash.
