-Scizor (Willing to Swap, Giving Forretress for consideration.) @ Choice Band Trait: Technician EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Bullet Punch - U-turn - Pursuit - Superpower Classic CB Scizor. The revenge killer and scouter of my team. Bullet Punch is to pick of Salamence and Gengar, and to, obviously, revenge kill most pokemon. U-turn is for free switches on slower pokemon and it is for scouting, hitting the switch and sending in my counter. Pursuit is to trap ghosts, mostly Gengar, and Superpower is to destroy Blissey and Heatran switch ins. -Jellicent @ Leftovers Trait: Water Absorb EVs: 248 HP / 176 Def / 84 Spd Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Will-O-Wisp - Surf - Taunt - Recover Spinblocker and utility counter of my team. Basically, when predicting a rapid spin, i switch to this guy, and punish then with WoW and surf. Taunt is for slower jellis and Blissey/Chansey, who can do nothing but a predicted switch, which by then ill proceed to burn. Nice Synergy with Heatran and Ferrothorn. -Ferrothorn @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 248 HP / 48 Def / 212 SDef Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Leech Seed - Spikes - Gyro Ball - Power Whip One chapter to the "Lay the hazards! Lay the traps!' story, and is basically here to set up spikes, edge on faster pokemon, and basically take care of most water types. Leech seed is there for residual recovery, and spikes is there for hazards. Nice Synergy with Jellicent and Heatran. -Heatran @ Air Balloon Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Stealth Rock - Fire Blast - Earth Power - Hidden Power [Ice] Meet my answer to Standard gliscor, fire types, scizor, ferrothorn, and blah. Stealth Rock is for more hazards, and jellicent can stop rapid spinners, Fire Blast is for Scizor, TRASHING ferrothorn, and disposing most steels. Earth Power is for scouting other heatran, HP ice is because heatran outspeeds the standard Gliscor set. Air Ballon is in case they are faster. Gliscor (Willing to Swap this pokemon, or the moveset in case Forretress arives, i may use SD gliscor.) @ Toxic Orb Trait: Poison Heal EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Substitute - Protect - Earthquake - Toxic Defense? Who needs it?! You can be just as fine with this gliscor, which is one of the most ANNOYING sets when timed correctly. Basically switch Gliscor in on a pokemon that you can scare off, use Substitute, and let the trolling begin. Toxic pokemon who arent immune to it, alternate between subsitute and protect, earthquake is for Heatran, Scizor and Forretress, and is my only answer to Excadrill, who should be in ubers right now. I mean think about it. Everyone needs a counter to that thing, and there arent that many. If there is a sandstorm up, it is a bonus to Gliscor to wear down its foes. -Latios @ Choice Specs Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Draco Meteor - Hidden Power [Fire] - Surf - Trick I honestly dont know why this guy is here. I dont know what Latios does except provide coverage to Heatran. Draco Meteor can dent, HP fire is for steels, Surf is for heatran, Trick is for people i cant Taunt. Threats: Excadrill- Gliscor walls and quakes when ballon is popped. Conkeldurr- If its guts, then its Latios's job, Iron fist, its gliscor's. Hydreigon- Wiped out by Latios Draco meteor. If scarfed, i predict the move and take it down any way i want. Volcarona- Stealth Rock and Heatran. Terrakion- Burn with Jellicent or wall with Gliscor. Landorus- Chandelure- Haxorus- Virizion- Thundurus- Scrafty- Reuniclus- Victini- Mienshao- Darmanitan- Keldeo- Genesect- Tornadus- Latias- Garchomp- Salamence- Cloyster- Politoed- Venusaur- Ninetails- Toxicroak- Breloom- Ditto- Scizor- Ludicolo- Metagross- Infernape- Heatran- Dragonite- Whimsicott- Jirachi- Rotom-W- Gyarados- Suicune- Kabutops- Tyranitar- Gliscor- Blissey- Bronzong- Chansey- Deoxys-S- Espeon- Ferrothorn- Forretress- Gorebyss- Hippowdon- Jellicent- Mew- Porygon2- Skarmory- Tentacruel- Vaporeon- Whimsicott- Sableye- Not done with threat list, but please tell me what to do with it. for the importable put [.secret] in front and [./secret] behind it (without the dots) um, as far as the team goes you have good type synergy with your fire/water/grass/dragon core. Gliscor only adds to this. With gliscor I really think you should run either sub OR protect. Sub if you can predict well, and Protect if you want to mess with their prediction, or need a little help with your own. Protect is always helpful if you're facing choiced Pokemon, but I find substitute to be far superior. Also, Gliscor has much more potential without toxic. in fact, you can't touch excadrill until something else has popped its balloon, almost guaranteeing that it gets a free swords dance because you have to pop it, then swap to Gliscor, and Gliscor can very easily be beaten by flinch hax if you're not careful. I'm not sure what the speed is for on Jellicent, because it seems a little low to be the benchmark for anything. My favorite is to go up to the 80s and hit the speed which outspeeds minimum skarmory by 1 point, because you can not only use it as a spinblocker, but if you predict well you can stop them from getting their hazards as well. Obviously I like your team because, well, it's only 2 pokemon off from my team which is currently sitting at #2 in wifi .-. but I think you could certainly fix some things such as those. I'd like to see better descriptions, so that I could tell what you picked each slot for, and what you swap into/out of with each pokemon, because then it's SO much easier to see holes in your defensive core. As is though, you've got great synergy and a well built team, so far as I can see. It's really the more nitpicky things such as the Gliscor set, EVs and such that could make your team a lot better. I feel like you need a spinner.. Because truthfully if a rain team has tentacruel, you're finished. They'll lay up tspikes, finish Jellicent, and then sweep you raw. You also seem very susceptible to Spikes, because I can see a stall team just massacring you, since you have 0 set up. Just a thought.
Im considering switching Scizor with Forretress, because it has the same type and can act as a tspiker and rapid spinner, althought that would mean putting my moves on jellicent into consideration. I might also drop a few defense evs and invest in speed, because if im keeping WoW, then the burn effect may cover this. Gliscor was only added to my team at first because of synergy and Excadrill.
