A Gen 5 OU weatherless team. Note: Please keep in mind this is my first RMT so please tell me if I am doing something wrong. At a Glance Building ProcessI knew that I wanted to start off with a fire-water-grass core, welcome Celebi, Gyarados, and Heatran to the team. Next I wanted a strong revenge killer that could help break stall teams and provide some raw power, I chose Latios. The next order of buisness was dealing with a dark/ghost weakness as well as adding some strong priority. The best pokemon for this role is Scizor. The final order of business was Stealth rocks as well as speed. Deoxys-S, welcome to the team. After some testing Celebi wasn't fufilling its job on the team, after some suggestions she was replaced with Ferrothorn. After some further testing I found Scizor a more useful revenge killer than Latios and Latios became dead weight. A set up Dragonite was suggested to me, so welcome Dragonite to the team. After further testing and some suggestions, I replaced Gyarados with Rotom-W for the extra coverage and as a better counter to Excadrill In-Depth @ Choice Band Trait: Technician EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - U-turn - Bullet Punch - Superpower - Pursuit Your standard banded Scizor. He's here for his powerful priority, scouting potential as well as type coverage. His typing works well with other members of the team. His fire weakness is used to Heatran's advantage and he provides a typing which greatly helps the synergy of the team. @ Lum Berry Trait: Multiscale EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Outrage - Fire Punch - ExtremeSpeed The teams set sweeper and Dragon-type, he is also here for his acces to priority. Dragon Dance because it is one of the best set-up moves in the game, Outrage for a ridiculously powerful STAB attcak, Fire Punch to deal with Steel types(especially Ferrothorn), and ExtremeSpeed to pick of weaker threats and priority users. Lum Berry is used to snap Dragonite out of confusion and to get a free Dragon Dance up and to prevent Dragonite from getting burned quickly. @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Spikes - Gyro Ball - Power Whip - Leech Seed The teams grass-type pokemon and special wall. Ferrothorn is here to tank hits and to counter most Latios, Spikes to gain residual damage on each switch, Gyro Ball to do massive damage to faster threats especially Latias, Power Whip as a strong STAB attack and for coverage, Leech Seed to extend Ferrothorn's life as its only recovery is Leftovers. @ Life Orb Trait: Pressure EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Stealth Rock - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Ice Beam Good ol' Deoxys-S, fast enough to outspeed many of the slower scarfers in OU. Stealth Rock to provide additional dmage to opposing teams and to help out with the common Volcarona, Psychic for a STAB move as well as to destroy opposing fighting types, Shadow Ball for Espeons and other psychics that would otherwise wall this set, and Ice Beam for opposing dragons and Gliscors. @ Leftovers Trait: Levitate EVs: 120 HP / 68 Def / 252 SAtk / 68 SDef Modest Nature - Pain Split - Hydro Pump - Thunderbolt - Will-O-Wisp The teams water pokemon, with its great bulk and decent special attack, Rotom-W is a force to be reckoned with, Pain Split to annoy both Chansey and Blissey as well as regain some hp, Hydro Pump for a strong STAB, Thunderbolt for a second STAB and coverage, Will-O-Wisp to hinder physical attackers. The Ev spread is a little weird, so some other sets could be helpful. @ Leftovers Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 148 HP / 160 SAtk / 200 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Substitute - Protect - Hidden Power [Grass] - Lava Plume The fire pokemon of my team, his steel typing helps resist several types that would other wise be a problem to my other members. Substitute to exploit matchups and to sub down on switches, Protect to scout my opponet's actions as well as wear down Hydro Pump's PP, Hidden Power [Grass] to deal with water types like Rotom-W and Vaporeon as well as rock and ground type pokemon, Lava Plume as a STAB move and to exploit it's 30% burn rate. I would greatly appreciate any comments, feedback, or ratings you have Special Thanks To: Noodlez for helping me with sets and testing this team. Ooka for the eRMT that helped me so much. Importable: Spoiler Scizor (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Technician EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - U-turn - Bullet Punch - Superpower - Pursuit Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Draco Meteor - Surf - Trick - Thunderbolt Celebi @ Leftovers Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 228 HP / 240 SAtk / 40 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Recover - Thunder Wave - Hidden Power [Fire] Deoxys-S @ Life Orb Trait: Pressure EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Stealth Rock - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Ice Beam Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Intimidate EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Roar - Rest - Sleep Talk - Waterfall Heatran (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 148 HP / 160 SAtk / 200 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Substitute - Protect - Hidden Power [Grass] - Lava Plume[/HIDE]

Gliscor- Deoxys can outspeed and KO with ice beam, and Gyarados walls it to death.
Well first of all a Weatherless team so it already earned 5/5 from me. But overall amazing Synergy (barring Rock :o). I think you could use with some Spikes support as it could tremendously help thje team but if it works so well already then pfft :x Good team. good to see weatherless rmts :3
Latios has 319 speed, 1.5x = 538. Even on Adamant Doryuuzu, he reaches 550 speed in sand. So he can 2HKO your switch in on Scarf Latios. So you'll need to revenge kill it. Gyarados can stop Doryuuzu though with Intimidate.
Celebi should be replaced.Ferro does better as a Tank, as well as setting up spikes.Ferro also counters Rain to an extent. Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Curse - Gyro Ball - Spikes - Thunder Wave CurseThorn. Can do alot of things.Paralayzer,Spiker,Tank, and also has a juicy 4x Fire Weakness for Heatran to exploit.Evs are there for curse. If u want,u can switch T-Wave with Leech Seed and Change Lefties for Rocky Helmet to damage Physical Attackers.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will test Ferro and get back to you. EDIT: I changed the set for testing, running Leech Seed, Gyro Ball, Spikes, and Power Whip
I would suggest changing Gyarados with Gliscor as I see you having trouble with Excadrill if it gets set up properly. You could make Heatran the Air Balloon Stealth Rock variant and get a more offensive poke instead of Deo-S.
After some more testing Excadrill did start giving me problems, rather than replacing Gyarados with Gliscor, I opted to replace it with rotom-W to retain the water coverage. Rotom-W also walls Excadrill very well.
Rotom-W's funny. His only weakness is Grass. What do you have on your team that resists Grass though?!?!
Well, at first look you have a severe weakness in the fact that half of your team is steel, and 99% of fire types carry some sort of a ground attack as well to counter this, i would reccomend trading out either ferro or scizor because of the x4 weakness to fire, and often times people would see the switch in to heatran because its obvious and go for the earthquake/earth power/dynapunch/focublast/aurasphere/cc/too many moves to continue. dragonite is a solid investment with multiscale, also i would invest in a dark pule in either rotom-w or heatran because deoxys cant switch in on very many damaging moves to kill psychic/ghost types especially espeon/gengar, also why not add chansey in the place of special wall for ferrthorn to get rid of some of the fire weakness, and also to add a wishpasser, or a cleric to your team. and if you really want the grass type via ferrothorn, why not use shaymin/celebi/serperior all of which help get away from some of that steel typing that could really hurt you in the long run.
