I actually prefer this tier now, with Shandera back in Dream World. Anyways, feel free to use my team and have fun. Psycho Green (Breloom) (M) @ Toxic Orb Trait: Poison Heal EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Bulk Up - Mach Punch - Seed Bomb - Spore Breloom is part of my fighting duo, together with Blaziken. First I only had Blaziken, but things like water types (mostly Jellicent), were getting to get to me. Since most teams only have one real fighting counter, being either Gliscor or a ghost of some sort, I thought of using two fighting Pokemon, who together can take care of pretty much anything. This Breloom set can even beat Gliscor if it doesn't have Acrobat, and it gives my team extra priority and status in Mach Punch and Spore respectively. Psycho Red (Blaziken) (M) @ Wide Lens Trait: Speed Boost EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 32 SAtk / 220 Spd Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef) - Protect - Overheat - Hi Jump Kick - Hidden Power [Ice] The second part of the fighting duo. I decided to give it Hidden Power for 4X weak dragons, but mostly for Gliscor, who is one of the few Pokemon who can safely switch into Psychical only Blaziken. Blaziken has enough special EV's to kill Gliscor after Stealth Rock. The speed is to outspeed ScarfChomp after +2 boost, and the rest is put into attack, to get the most out of HJK. Wide Lens is to increase both Overheat and HJK's accuracy to 99 percent. Psycho Pink (Chansey) (F) @ Eviolite Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Thunder Wave - Aromatherapy - Seismic Toss - Softboiled SkarmChance, I just can't get enough of this combination. Call it unoriginal, but it's still a golden combo. There are few things that can break through these 2 Pokemon. Not much to say about the set, Aroma to heal status, and Thunder Wave for special set-uppers like the fire moth and Thundorus. Psycho White (Skarmory) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Spikes - Whirlwind - Roost - Brave Bird And the psychical wall, giving my Pokemon some entry hazard support, so Blaziken can just rape everyting in the end. After some entry damage, there's not much that can take HJK from Blaziken if it's even neutral to it. Scorpius (Dragonite) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - ExtremeSpeed - Dragon Claw - Fire Punch Dragonite is here mainly to give me some extra resistance to fire, water and fighting, and to give me priority. He's the Pokemon that sweeps Sun or Rain teams in the end, most of the time. With his ability, he will alwyas get up atleast one Dragon Dance, which makes him that much better. Trakeena (Espeon) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Magic Bounce EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Calm Mind - Baton Pass - Psychic - Hidden Power [Fighting] And my last Pokemon, Espeon. My team doesn't like hazards too much, especially Dragonite, who wants his full health to garantuee a Dragon Dance. To keep entries off the field, I have Espeon. This is why I have Espeon for, and not much else, that's why I made it so Bulky. With this spread Nattorei can never 2HKO Espeon with Gyro Ball. I have it Calm Mind and Baton Pass, to pass some CM's to Blaziken if I see an oopertunity to do so. Espeon also gives me an extra resistance to fighting. So yea, this is my team which I used to go to the number one spot. I'll probably edit some descriptions later, and go more into detail. But for now, just look at it and hate it or love it.
Post something actually relevant to the team. Maybe a dual screener for Espeon, you'll take hits much better from Nattorei and Dragonite might get to dance twice. The Special boost passed to Blakizen won't help that much because you're still overheating. :l Nice team. Dragonite wants Roost, but you might not want it because nothing wants to be replaced.
Why do you have to be so good. :(........... Well the team itself is pretty solid and i dont really know what to change (Hmm actually its prolly because your teams are weird as hell and i never understand them :(....) but i guess you could make a few tweeks if you want...Firstly i think Focus Punch is a better idea over Bulk up..I really never found breloom to be a very good sweeper and "Beating Acrobat'less Gliscor" is somewhat situational imo. Focus Punch is generally a nice niche move that can help and stuff..Then again maybe im breaking your "Must have weird sets rule" with this generic suggestion but oh well :(....I would also consider something like LO over Wide lense as the little accuracy boost is hardly worth it imo.Perhaps Fire Blast over Overheat as well if you want to make pulling up those CM Baton passed sweeps a bit easier.I honestly dont have much else to suggest really...>_>... ......Oh and <3 you :3
In actuality, Espeon cannot learn Baton Pass with the magic mirror ability. This is because of male eevees in dream world or whatever not learning baton pass. If it did, I'm sure its usage would skyrocket. But unfortunately it doesn't , meaning that your team now suffers to pursuit + tyranitar into hazard spam. I can also see a problem with Magnezone in the sandstorm ridding off the skarmory, and making an opening for a Sandstorm sweeper. On another note, your team seems to suffer against endeavor hail teams as well.
SkarmChansLoom... Epic Simple Wall and Pick off pokemon set from gen4 it's good that it works in gen 5 but not original for my likes, where are the under rated pokemon that you made epic ;_;... There is no calling this team bad because we know it will work... Dual screen is under rated so along with archerknight i would recommend it for espeon and it will help the survivability of the team if your skarmchansey wall gets broken and it boosts them to making it even more rage quit worthy ;3
Hehe, I know it’s not that original, even though I like the combo of Blaziken and Breloom in this team. Don’t worry though, I’ll do my best to get many more #1 teams coming in both DW and Wifi, that will be original :P
Hey, gratz Ashton for your first place, I just love your Chansey+Skarmory combo… I would try the Bulky DDancer on 'Nite, just because it can get an Outrage from Garchomp and outspeed it with the second Dragon Dance.
Is there a reason for Overheat over Fire Blast? Passing Calm Minds to Blaziken seems much more effective with Fire Blast since its your only Special Attacker. Fire Blast will have 93% accuracy so its still pretty reliable.
Passing isn't what I have Espeon for, it's main purpose is just bouncing everything back. When it does have a boost and it can't do anything with it itself, I just pass it to something else. Blaziken is supposed to ram through everything with Hi Jump Kick, the other two moves are just there to remove some of his counters. That's also why it doesn't have alot of special ev's, and with Overheat it can hit at it's hardest from the start. And yea 99 percent > 93 percent =(
I love your Breloom set but Blaziken has to change. Use a spread of 252 SpA, 220 Spe with the rest in attack and swap Overheat out for Fire Blast. I would also recommend changing the item to balloon which allows Blaziken to switch in easier and to gather free boosts, or to life orb for a power boost. Now the great thing about that set is that it can still beat the same things as the previous one, but also allows Blaziken to 2HKO almost all of the counters to SD Blaziken. Besides that everything else seems good.
Balloon isn't a good item on Blaziken. It doesn't get very useful resistances, and it gets hit hard by neutral hits. The only person i'd be using Balloon for is Excadrill. I really want accuracy, it's very important to me. Even 99 percent HJK and Overheat manage to miss from time to time.. And I ain't beating counters to Blaziken with more special attack. I still can't touch Burungery, Slowbro and it won't turn HP Ice from 2HKO into OHKO on Latios and Reuniclus. Those EV's you've given will however, severely reduce the damage output of HJK, which I use Blaziken for.
