I've read this about 5 times, and I keep reading. I made teams for every kind of trolling. Thanks for this guide, not to mention I fell of my chair laughing the first time I read it. Of course, with this new revelation of Kakuna gaining a new move it Platinum, it could only be the herald of the Great Kakuna Man's return. I'll also take some time to expand on Kakuna's effective counters First, let's start by examining it's wondrous new move, Bug Bite: With a whomping 60 BP, plus STAB, it's clear that this is Kakuna's new standard for dealing damage. Also, this new moves adds some poorly needed type coverage, allowing a choice set to be useable without fear of being walled by steel types. As a matter of fact, Bug Bite's addition lowers Max HP/Max Def Steelix from a 94 HKO to a 36 HKO. Max HP Steel-type Arceus is now a 25 HKO, while Min HP/Def Psychic Arceus is a 22 HKO. With Kakuna's new Bug Bite, it's justifiable that it has moved up to the NFE (Notoriously Freaking Epic) Tier. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
At least Kakuna has less Attack and Speed than Weedle. This means they will be even more surprised to see you sweep with it. In fact, you may even get them to laugh for 5 minutes and run out the timer. Adamant 252 Atk Kakuna with +2 Atk BP'd in nearly reaches 330 Attack, which is respectable. (I believe you can afford to use a Choice Band on your Kakuna)
How does metang troll>.>? Eviolite? um, yeah, um...trolling is awesome, you gotta love annoying ppl with them trolls :3 TROLLYPH!!!!!!!!!ARON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!uh, yeah, no imagination right now
I lol'd at this. Pretty nice. I thought this was gonna be something stupid when I first clicked on it. >:u good job.~
Big Fat Bitch Clefable @ Flame Orb Ability: Unaware EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk Jolly Nature - Cosmic Power - Softboiled - Trick - Facade Just wanted to Post this incredibly annoying Clefable set, it's really hard to stop, actually, nothing can stop it, just cosmic power and softboile until nothing can break you, they can set up all they want, but nothing will be able to pass trough you, and if they trick to stop you, then they get burned, and you can trick back, doing a neverending cycle, Facade is the awesome since you'll have a 210 BP no drwbacks attack, with max attack, it 5HKOes slowbro with leftovers, but the is really nothing they can do, use some hazzards and this pass from stupid to WTF, i can't believe i'm being owned by a clefable O.O
For the lulz WTFairy Clefairy @ Eviolite Ability: Magic Guard EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd Jolly Nature - Metronome enjoy
Clefable is actually rather easy to counter, like most trolls. :P Also like most trolls, if you aren't prepared, you're doomed. XD @easycheese Maybe I should make a Metronome section in Volume 2...or even make a Volume 3 since Volume 2 is running out of space. :O
For me if you want to troll people effectively you must use as many Multi-Hit moves you possibly can. It throws them off and because of the Counter and Mirror Coat nerf that pertains to Multi-Hit moves it makes it even better. However, its easy to get counter trolled if they happen to have a Weak Armor pokemon because each hit from a multi-hit move would boost their speed a stage. I carry one myself because I hate Cloyster and Breloom. The best troll I have ever faced was a Weak Armor Garbodor (Dasutodasu) with Balloon and Recycle. I talked to the guy that I faced that used such a monstrousity and he said it made at least 20 people rage-quit.
That's why is stupid (aka trolly) It completely owns her, but this was mono so i really didn't have any of those xD (that thing actually owns slow team)
Hi, is there a problem if I post this translated to Spanish in another forum, saying that it's yours and giving a link to this thread?
I've found one of the most gimmicky but succesful strategies, use a pokemon with prankster and a Ditto, that's all it takes First bring something really treathening like thundorus or completely unharmful like Whimsicott (like he is not trolly enought) against any stat booster, preferably a dragon, try to make it seem like you're a sub-seeder variant or something not really treathening, and when they start setting up use swagger/flatter according to the kind of sweeper, it works in many pokes, use it while they set up, if they begin to get haxed good for you, your opponent will probably think is fighting another noob and continue to set-up, just annoy him til something dies, then bring thundurus... use Thunder Wave to get him paralysed (and if he is still confused the better), and die to the +6 monster... then bring Ditto and sweep, thanks to T-Wave you don't need a scarf and stat f***ing everything with LO (or just complete the trolly route and use Brightpowder) while your opponent looks at you like O.O, dragons are preferable thanks to their only-steel-ressisted STAB and the fact that they are SE against each other PS: use Scarf Cloyster, just use it and see how powerful it can be PSS: Rain trolling still lives!
@Gerard Actually, I'd thought of that before. ;D TBH, all you need is a Whimsicott, unless you don't like Stun Spore's accuracy. XD Swagger or Encore for the boosts and Stun Spore to drop their speed. And yeah, I remember your Scarfed Cloyster. Destroyed 2 of my monotype members before I realized what was happening. XO @easycheese 3rd volume is coming up. Currently I've got results for Trick Room and a couple for Ubers trolling. :P Dunno why the other trolling types aren't coming around but after the Politoed vote I should be able to get to it. Luck>Skill and Terminator, I'm looking at you. ;D Although if they're working on the Poli vote that's fine with me, since I am too. XD
Nice thread, expect a lot more trolling from me ;) How about the FEAR rattata, clefairy and aron? I'm not sure whether they're classed as trolls but they're pretty annoying
I made a team involving Shadow Tag pokemon, flashing, T-wave, etc. awhile back, but certain things beat it out too easily. :/ (Borutorosu priority T-Wave, Ditto, Perish Song/Haze)
I finally got around to cleaning out the Japanese names (yeah, sorry Okami). Tell me if there are any I missed. And fear not, Volume 3 is coming. Albeit slowly, and since I'm not exactly sure how the others' research is going I'm having to test out every style myself, it's still coming.
Jirachi @ lefties 252 HP 252 Def Calm Mind Doom Desire Future Sight Wish Trollalicious! Also I swept earlier with a Shuckle (Shuck Norris) Shuckle @ lefties 252 HP 154 spdef rest in def SE Hp bug Acupressure Power Split Massive troll - especially in sand.
Some things I need to say... First of all, touching up the Rigas section. Got 3 of them in today, will try to get them in later. Second of all, apologies for the length of time volume 4 is taking. I don't like to post things up without testing first, and testing LC is abnormally difficult, partly because it doesn't have that much of a playerbase and partly because I really have no idea what I'm doing. LC's multiple sections aren't making it easier; hopefully I'll be able to get to LU and NU in a somewhat brisk manner... Third and finally, since volume 4 will (or hopefully will, not sure what else I can use...Gravity? I suck enough with Trick Room @_@) be the last volume, specific sets will be edited in later...if I can finish volume 4. >_> BUT FEAR NOT! I will finish. Eventually.
Well, that was annoying. No, not the strategy, but the dissing of the strategy and it's user. Complaining for losing through none other's fault but your own is just ungraceful and in poor taste, and saying that strategy won't ever work on you again is just... If you lose, don't say this victory doesn't count, or you were just lucky, or I was unlucky, or you cheated, or you are unoriginal, or whatever. Suck it up, accept it, thank your opponent for the match, and try harder next time. That's just good etiquette.
You forgot a derp troller: Spoiler Derpant (Durant) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Swarm EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Protect - Substitute - Toxic - Rest[/HIDE] and another: Spoiler Derpant (Durant) (F) @ Life orb Trait: Swarm EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Flash Cannon - Struggle Bug - Energy Ball - Hidden Power [Ice][/HIDE] First one: SPECIAL WALL DURANT FTW Second one: SPECIAL SWEEPER DURANT FTW 'Nuff said.
Alrighty, updated most of the guides with more English names, a couple new mons, some new words (with guest appearance by Blitzimirin--did I spell that right?). Gonna get Smeargle in there, with Iceydude's set as well, and Slim_Cognito's too.
You know, my name's so long, it doesn't matter. Just call me Blitz and call it a day. :3 Well anyways, User Name (also thanks to Vahnyu) made me realize "let's troll OU using 1v6 sweeps". I tried that Eelektross, and when I was about to give up, a sweep. Then, I went and did more, including (ignore the "S" in everything >_>) Scrafty, Suicune, Snorlax, Slowbro, Cresselia and more. It's really fun to troll people like this, and you even get things like "I'm putting this on Youtube". In general, I encourage others to do them. If you wish to do it on your main alt, so be it, but it's generally stupid fun. Most dangerous sweep I've ever done has been MoxieMence. Really hard to setup. Easiest sweeps have been Suicune and Latias, who set up without much effort. Anyways, my dream/goal is to be able to do 30~ sweeps, and I've done 9. So yeah, thanks for the shout out, and everyone, happy trolling ^^
Upon reading this over twice it appears you are somehow missing the greatest moveset I've ever conceived. In fact, what is probably the greatest Shedinja setup of all time. Shedinja @ Life Orb 252 HP / 252 Attack / 4 Speed Naughty Nature - Double-Edge - Giga Drain - Harden - Substitute Clearly as you can tell with 252 EVs in HP Shedinja surpasses 0 HP which is pretty amazing, he is the only Pokemon capable of such a HP stat and puts Blissey to shame. Final Gambit is another great option on this moveset however it is illegal with Double-Edge and/or Giga Drain because it wouldn't even be fair anymore. Although he will take Double-Edge and Life Orb recoil he's a Ghost type so I'm sure he'll find some way to Giga Drain himself back to full health. Harden is the to raise an already amazing 126 Defence and make Shedinja an impenetrable wall. Since Shedinja has a rather lackluster 86 Special Defence stat he will need to muster up all of his strength to create a Substitute to hide behind, as to not take a Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse which would otherwise do 1 HP's worth of damage to him. Swagger is passed up on because Shedinja couldn't dare be risking getting hit by a +6 super effective move, even with 6 Hardens off he wouldn't be able to withstand that much. Hope you like my Shedinja review, Whitney out! EDIT: Almost forgot, Leech Life can be used as a method of healing on Grass types that resist Giga Drain.
Have someone mentioned this already: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3447861 I'm not sure what your reactions will be, but... Try looking, react to it, etc. etc.
