Why can't i find slaking with solar beam? It was something none expected and it was totally useless without sun...
lol, Check out Troll Accelgor Basicaly, you Guard Swap(With ur shit defenses) then have fun sweeping (Well, troll actualy) Deria inspired my life today with using Charizard in Ubers, at first i took it as a joke, but then Outspeeding then OHKOing Zekrom. I will NEVER see the the ZARD in the same light again The thread reminds me too much about my April Fools team, which i used to ladder on April 1st
User Name, add Liepard. Give it a section of its own, Priority Phazing (with Assist) is insane, especially if you can get hazards up first. Oh, and Fake Out-Taunt-Thunder Wave is the real deal. Think of Thundurus combined with Mienshao, nerfed down about 50 Attack Points.
No! well the secret is out the bad now. Youve missed my favourite trolling; Assist Trolling. Uses Liepard and (sometimes) Purrlion using prankster assist to make a priority roar/whirlwind. load the rest of your team with moves that assist cant choose, and then at least one whirlwind/roar. here are some ideas; -hail for residual damage -trick some sticky barb -espeon/xatu and maybe some copycat to get hazards -ghost(s) to stop hazards being phazed. -counter, mirror coat, destiny bond can net some kills. -protect is very useful, every poke should have it. stuff that you will have trouble with; -extremespeed and faster priority (from the likes of thundurus, a taunt form him of erufuun can mean gg) -not getting hazards -opponent not getting hurt by hazards (either major resist or magic guard, reunicles, alakazam) -espeon, xatu or magic coat. (you end up phazing yourself). note: this is where you can run a calculated risk (if you are running just liepard there isnt a risk), having night slash on liepard can let you deal with a weakened espeon/xatu better (though you may not OHKO), the problem being that if you are running two assisters, you risk the other selecting night slash, which is uncool. -last stand; if the opponenet has rage quitted by now, their last poke can make all the difference, you cant phaze and dont have many attacks (this is where dragon tail/circle throw become really important and/or chatot) chatot is useful because it has a unique move; chatter is a base 60 special attack that cant be picked by assist, can use a scarf chatot to try and clean up later might add to this post but i am tired atm.
Victini @ Choice Scarf Ability: Victory Star EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature - V-Create - U-Turn - Final Gambit - [filler] Victini can OHKO every weather lead bar Hippodown with this set, due to Final Gambit causing 404 HP damage.
Final Gambit Victini is awesome, although I once derp'd it by making it waste a 404 HP attack on a Ninjask's pathetic Sub that doesn't even reach 80 HP. Hoho, that was fun. I see people joking about Choice Band Blissey all the time, but what about Choice Specs Blissey, I wonder? THAT would be the WTF moment for your opponent, who would probably send in Ferrothorn to try to wall it with Leech Seed... only to get owned by Specs Flamethrower. Spec-sey would look a bit like cosmicexplorer's avatar, I'm betting. ./endtroll Choice Specs may be a stretch, but I seem to be the only person able to use Blissey for offensive purposes other than Seismic Toss. Wish as only recovery, then you have ThunderWave or Toxic / Flamethrower / WaterPulse or anything else. Flamethrower OHKO's most Scizor when you have 100 EV's in Special Attack (like I do sometimes).
Or you could use CB Dugtrio which doesn't have to kill itself to kill Toed/Ttar. Dugtrio also makes Ninetales possible :D
@Cuju Sadly Altaria is pwned by Stone Edge AND Ice Beam, meaning it's unreliable at best against weather teams. Troll? Likely. Anti-Weather Lead? No. :P And perhaps if you write a small paragraph like Okami I'll put ONE of them in there. ;D They all Derp in special ways if used correctly, but I can't list all of their ways. Just too lazy. SpecsChamp is cool. Still not being mentioned like Special Breloom and various other similar Pokemon. :3 @Niggel Slaking could probably just go into Derp. XD @Vicutini Accelgor could get a listing once I find some time. @Icey Miscellaneous trolling will come S.O.O.N. ;) This includes Assist Trolling, 1-Poketrolling, and whatever random stuff you guys manage to come up with. XD @Shadowfist Hm, didn't think of that. Sure, I'll get it in. Sometime tomorrow at earliest, but it will get in eventually. @Icey again I'll edit Blissey's Troll Value quip in the Anti-Trolls section. ;) @Manaphy Sadly, I find Dugtrio unreliable, particularly if the opposing Ninetales is Balloon'd or if the T-tar is bulky. Although admittedly Dugtrio's Edge always OHKOs non-bulky Tales, one needs a Band and Adamant to reliably eliminate no bulk Tar and cannot reliable take out bulky T-tar. Although it does leave the Pokemon weak to revenge killing, I don't think it's enough.
The problem with Victini is that most people expect a Final Gambit from one if it's in the lead position. After all, why would it be in the lead position at all if not for Final Gambit? Metal Burst Sturdy Bastiodon/Aggron could be mentionable, since if they use Metal Burst on a move that triggers Sturdy, almost everything's going to go down to that 1.5x multiplier. :D
Metal Burst, which has +0 priority, works like Counter and Mirror Coat. However, it works on all moves but only multiplies the damage by 1.5x. Still, 1.5x of 400 or so is enough to take out most Pokémon. I'm not sure about Aron, though its low HP doesn't really help the damage output of Metal Burst.
@Noog That's true. Then again, I have yet to try it. Gonna get around to it sometime, though. XD I'll try that; sounds fun. :P
Ah, I thought it might do 1.5x the potential damage that would be done. Still, Naughty Aggron could be...naughty (EVs: 0 SpDef). It'd put him at 112 SpDef. Custap Berry it with Iron Head, Stone Edge, and Endeavor.
1 poke trolling? = 1v1 Gen 5? in that tier i use Swagger Regice. It is especially funny because i changed some of the sprites on my PO so my regice is blinged out, with a pimp stick and b*tches on either side. that pimps got swagger. you can do it in other tiers but its more fun when you can actually win with it =P Re: the Aggron, i have used lead metal burst Aggron. but i must say that if you want to be true troll (or in general, its jsut more fun) you should use red card not custap. if it works, guaratee kill on a random poke of their team. its so funny when it gets nattorei or something. in fact i think red card deserves a mention in the guide of its own. red card+sturdy (no hazards) or red card+endure stops any sweep. nothing like putting up 3 layers spikes and SR while they max out their stats only to stopped by a crustle.
No, flashbolt. 1 poke trolling = 1v6, not 1v1. The idea is that you use 1 pokemon against the oponent's full team, with the purpose of defeating them. It can be doable, but don't expect your rank to go high. The swaggering Regice sounds schway to me.
I fought a guy with a single Farfetch'd. That's all he had. My Thundurus Taunted it to block Toxic, Thunder Waved it, and then owned it will Thunderbolt. Anyways. Yesterday, I met the most amazing guy by the name of "[GF]Gaga_Rulez TEST" or something. If you ever see a channel called "Gimmick Freaks", this guy is probably on there, as he/she always starts the channel. I spent 10 minutes on PM with Gaga_Rulez making outrageous gimmicks that were so ridiculous, they MUST be trolling. Among them were Hypnosis-WakeUpSlap Politoed, Counter Zoroark, Offensive Dragon Dance Shelgon, PerishSong Gengar... did I mention SPECS FERROTHORN? Ferrothorn actually took me off guard when I fought it. It actually killed two Pokemon before being wiped out by my trolling Darumaka. I'm going to try Swords Dance Rock Polish Ferrothorn, as I ended up with that set in CC once.
What exactly qualifies a Pokemon as being a "troll"? Because depending on that definition I could have what varies between a huge list of contributions to none. :P
@Justout If I say it's a troll, it's a troll. :D cuz pro bro @flashbolt Troll items could definitely use a section. :P I'M DONE WITH INNUENDO BABES Feel free to take a look. Thanks to Dunestorm for hosting. :)
You sir, forgot one of the trolliest pokemons ever: Jumpluff What makes him a troll: High speed Troll typing (grass/flying? what?) Decent defenses A moveset built to piss off opponents (subseed/encore/stun spore/sleep powder) He can also sweep, my favourite set has 252 speed/252 atk jolly, with Sleep Powder Swords Dance Seed Bomb Aerial Ace.
Out of sun Jumpluff is about as useful as what it's made after, a dumb cotton ball. In sun it can be annoying, but still pretty easily taken out. A friend and I made a Tropius, once, speaking of grass/flying. We saw his new ability, harvest, and decided to give him a starf berry (+1 random stat when health is below 1/3 [or is it 1/4?]). Sub Synthesis (attack) (attack) He could just sub until below the berry health, get TWO stat boosts (once when he eats it, once when he regenerates it), and heal up. It was funnier than it was effective, and we did use it in OU, so I don't know how well it'd perform in UU.
@Justout I dunno, in or out it's still got great base Speed and Sleep Powder. :P Also, Tropius sounds fun. XD @Luck>Skill Currently busy. I know I've said this before, but I'll try to get to it. XD
I Baton Pass Speed and Ingrain from Smeargle (to stop phazing) to Exeggutor and it has worked quite well. I feel like Exeggutor's got better stats to back up the boosts. (It has also worked quite poorly too) Aqua Ring from Smeargle is good if you can.
I think Red Card should get an honorary mention, specially coupled with Sturdy (or Bulky Musharna <3)
Totally agreed (ask AlphaAmpharos the set he uses on his deo-d lead in wifi...) Also, I love how the link to this thread in the quick navigation bar at the top of the forum page changed name like 3 times...
I can try, but idk if it will be as good as the luvdisc paragraph =P Kakuna got a new upgrade this generation, making it an even better tank. It now can hold the eviolite, which boosts it's defense and special defense by 1.5 This way, you can now put a lot more into special defense and still tank like a pro, even you do loose the black sludge recovery. And with harden, you can boost to the point where CB blissey (or chansey if uu) will do less damage percent wise than your bug bite does to her. All in all, kakuna is a pretty great tank.
Swords Dance Ledian and Swords Dance Sunflora will surprise your opponent. They will be surprised that you use these pokemon. They will be surprised that you used Swords Dance. And we all know the element of surprise is the most important thing.* *Note that I actually don't care about these pokemon going up on the list. I'm just messing around with ideas.
Haha, I just won 2 battles using a team completely made of fast Assist users (Prankster Liepard, Scarf Infernape, Scarf Weavile, Scarf Smeargle), Skarmory with Roar, Whirlwind, and Stealth Rock, and Cloyster with Spikes and Toxic Spikes. It was fun.
Actually...gonna try something radical. Cuz this guide is getting too bulky. So bear with me for a little while...
Thanks for taking my suggestion, User Name. I have to admit I loled a bit on spec'd Machamp at first, but then I realized that No Guard greatly benefits his special options as well, "especially" Fire/Focus Blast. Assist phazing is a left illegitimate son, and Prankster+Assist Whirlwind/Roar is a total nightmare, and should be considered a heinious crime upon hummanity(and pokemonity, but who cares about the little freaks?). As for Eelektross: Please, allow me to elaborate. Eelektross(female)@ Leftovers Ability: Levitate EVs: 200 Hp/ 96 Def/ 212 SDf Sassy Nature(+SDf /-Spd) Moveset: Zap Cannon Dragon Claw Coil Rest Eelektross is one of the few pokemon that can seriously and consistently abuse ZAP CANNON. You know, the move that's as strong as thunder(120 base attack power/special) with an added effect of a 100% chance for paralysis, but at the cost of being only 50% accurate(like dynamic punch). How can he abuse it? COIL. Aside from raising attack(important) and defence(very important, especially for 1-v-6 situations), it also raises it's Accuracy(Which is, actually, the main selling point of the move). After two coils, you almost never miss with Zap cannon(about as much with Fire Blast), and on 3 coils and above, you simply don't miss. Completely ignoring offense, and having negative speed(due to nature), and adding Rest(to abuse coil, in order to abuse Zap Cannon) and a physical move(to not leave that delicious +3 to +6 attack hanging, preferably Dragon Claw for coverage) Eelektross becomes a tank(not a wall), capable of not only shrugging attacks and unfortunate status abnormalities(baring freeze), but also attacking back with force, acting like a short of mixed sweeper, and paralyzing the opponent's team(ground/lightingrod/motor/volt absorb notwithstanding, of course). Due to the always accurate damage+paralysis, it trolls the hell out of teams. It has more than enough HP to set up/troll on Seismic Toss/Toxic Chansey/Blissey(even if they have Aromatherapy), and it completely counters choised Ditto(Even No choised, which is simply no contest). Roarers/Whirlwinders/Dragon Tailers etc are setup fodder(par for the course of going 1-v-6), Magic Bouncers and the like are simply helpless against Zap Cannon(since it's basically an attack), and Wobbuffets cannot hope to counter it, if played with a bit of caution. Note: Female Gender, to counter most usual Attracters(who are also female). Of course, 1 pokemon can't possibly counter all others all by itself, and Eelektross is no exception to the rule. Trick completely shuts him off. Ferrothorn absolutely walls him(due to lack of Flamethrower). Prankster(if played well) can residual damage(leech seed/burn/toxic)/encore lock him on coil. Serperior, Mienshao, Haxorus, and Volcarona are also notable in that if they come in before Eelektross manages to set up, the can 2-3HKO him(her, see gender). FEAR(unless being completely paralysed) goes without saying. Criticals, of course, are always unwelcome, since even 1 may mean the end of the game. Perish Song too, since you have no switch ins. There are a couple of other counters, but they're not nearly as notable as the above(at least as far as my experience goes, which admittedly, isn't really that far, upon retrospection). Important Note: It bears repeating. Once again, when you go 1 on 6 on your opponent, expect to lose. Maybe even a lot. That's okay. Most of the times, you'll manage to at least create a considerable amount of trouble to your opponent, taking two-four pokemon down before losing. That's good. That's part of the point, wherein the trolling aspect of going 1 on 6 lies. Of course, if you DO manage to defeat the opponent's full team using only one pokemon(which, while not always, will still occur often enough), consider yourself successful in completely trolling your opponent's efforts in creating a well crafted team.
very well done, i actually read and liked it :) , and about the post about eelektros, i can proudly say i 6-0ed soledad's team with one ;P
I think P2 should get a troll mention. It has magic coat and trace. So it can trace a heatran's flash fire, or someone's prankster, or magic bounce, or any other ability. It also has magic coat, so if used correctly, it can be trolly. You could also run trick room, or thunder wave, but he definitely has troll potential. Also, trick room trolling may be a possibility to add, it can be very frustrating, and have unsuspecting sweepers. It can be used creatively, but it may be too offensive for tolling
Should Linoone REALLY be in derp trolling? Its strategy is basic, but powerful. If it can setup Belly Drum, it's unstoppable. It works quite well with Sleep Support allowing you a free turn to Belly Drum and sweep. It even gets STAB Extremespeed, for what it's worth. Anyways, Linoone can be quite the threat when you're not prepared.
@Cuju Oright, I meant to get to Trick Room trolling like a week after I created this guide. XD Slipped my mind. I'll see when I can get to it. @Icey The fun thing about Derp trolling is that it can sometimes work. :P
