According to other people with this problem, windows 7 doesn't solve it.

    Sorry about that.

I need to probably unstick this thread since no one still has no universal solution to the problem. Good for some people, who have now a working PO.

I don't believe it is, since we haven't been able to find a solution that works universally - everything we know is posted/linked in this thread. Or it's categorized under [Resolved] prefix.

I checked there and nothing, I tried uninstall-reinstall and nothing. Am I forever doomed to not be able to use this site?

No, there is a PO Web Client in the works and hopefully it will be done relatively soon. When it is, you'll be able to use Pokemon Online from the web browser.

I know, I'm quite late, but I just encountered this problem right now. I previously deleted any and all information pertaining to the old version and downloaded the new one from github.

    1. I'm using Windows Vista, and there is absolutely no way to change it.
    2. The anti-virus software I'm using is Norton, and I do not know it's version number and policy.
    3. Finally, I do not know the name of the firewall I am using, nor it's policy/version number.

Please respond to this post, PM me, or at least make an attempt to solve my problem. Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'm having these problems ever since parental settings were put into effect.. Idk what to do,
I have Vista but no anti-virus software. No personal firewall, just the default one.
Please help, I really need this fixed
