Hello Safari players! As you know, Pokémon Online's playerbase is small, and a lot of our activity comes through Safari, even for our other side-channels, such as Tours, Mafia, Trivia, and Hangman. Our cross-promotions allow these channels to see activity, and although they are not alive 24/7 as they were in the old days, due to our Safari main events, our server population is enduring enough to see activity once in a while. Because Safari is the most active channel, and many of you are willing to put in effort for anything with a safari reward that helps the server, the right thing to do is to help the other, less well-off side channels in need! That is why we will be starting off some programs to help improve the infrastructure of our other side-channels. Our first target is #Tournaments. If you are not aware, when you join a Tournament without a team in your profile to match the tier of the tour, you will be assigned a random autoteam. Our autoteams already offer a diverse array of options, but it is clear that they need improvement in both quality and quantity. We have arranged a list of tiers that are in need of your assistance, and we will be accepting your help as you submit new autoteams for them! Our review process is twofold. First, our Safari review team will do a preliminary review to evaluate the quality of the teams submitted. The rubric is as follows: Spoiler: Rubric Ease of Use (5/5) - Can someone who has never played this team before easily understand how to win with it? Originality (5/5) - Does this team show something featured in that the tier that is under-represented in other autoteams? Fun (5/5) - Is this team fun to use? (We know this is subjective but we don't want teams that may strike users as boring or degenerate to be in our autoteam pool.) Strength (5/5) - Is this team good? Even if the team is original, fun, and easy to use, if it can't win, there is no point in having it on the server. To clear the first round of submission, you will need a score of at least 15. If your score is close to 15, we will offer help as to how the team can be improved to reach a score of 15. Alternatively, we reserve the right to make editions to your submitted autoteam in order to help it clear the 15 mark, but this only be done in cases where a small change can be made. You will be notified of any such change. The second round of submission will be handled by the staff at #Tournaments. So, what about ~REWARDS~? If you submit a number of qualifying autoteams per round, you will receive the following rewards at the end of the round. Spoiler: Prizes 5: 3 Nuggets, 1 Mega Stone. 10: 5 Nuggets, 3 Mega Stones. 15: 2 Big Nuggets, 5 Mega Stones. 20: 3 Big Nuggets, 10 Mega Stones. Furthermore, if 100 qualifying autoteams are submitted in a single round, a special prize for all players will be unlocked. The prize for all players varies each round. How to submit: Leave a Pastebin link in a reply to this thread as a link to your team. You may submit as many links in the same post as you like. The submitted team must be in one of the tiers listed in the current round. Ease of Use 3/5. Straight-forward, sweep them before they sweep you strategy. Some weird mons though and the Jynx set looks tricky to know when to Rest. Originality 5/5. No autoteam uses Victreebel yet. Fun 4/5. Strength 2/5. Overall I'm concerned about Victreebel's effectiveness, and Jynx is weird too. There's no solid in for Golem/Rhydon. (14/20) I would suggest replacing one of Jynx/Victreebel with a more standard sweeper to help both ease of use and strength. (Updated version): https://pastebin.com/raw/5ynXQM14 Ease of Use 4/5. Strength 1/5. 13/20 -- My concern with this team is it destroyed by common moves in this tier. Exeggutor is the only Psychic resist, and it doesn't even carry Stun Spore, meaning it has to explode to even cripple an opposing Zam. If that misses due to Zam switching out (or if they have another Psychic user like Egg or Starmie), you are not going to have any answer to it. You also have 3 ice weak and 0 resist, making you susceptible to Blizzard spamming Starmie or Jynx. This and the fact that the entire team is outsped by Starmie and Alakazam makes it very suspicious, and if I got this an autoteam and got swept by the most common mons I would feel pretty upset. https://pastebin.com/raw/JTgpBvEW Ease of Use 2/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength 2/5. 14/20 -- This team is double electric, and it looks like the goal is to overwhelm the foe's Golem/Rhydon. Meanwhile, your best switch in to those mons is Egg, who does not last very long. I think Starmie is much preferred if you are running double elec specifically to make sure your Rhylem check outlasts their Rhylem. I don't know if Rhydon is necessary on this team either because I think Jolteon can satisfactorily switch in to Zapdos if it's healthy (correct me if I'm wrong). It might be better to pack more insurance to opposing Zams or Tauros in place of a redundant Zapdos check. https://pastebin.com/raw/nU7EZVFw Ease of Use 4/5. Originality 4/5. Fun 5/5. Strength 2/5. 14/20 -- It's a bit gimmicky (I'm not a fan of tbolt Tauros when you don't have a solid switch in for Rhylem) but the concept works alright in theory. The main weakness this team has is to Reflect Zam, which you have to hope you para with Body Slam or explode on. I might recommend Body Slam over Double-Edge on Tauros, which prevents Zam from being safe on anyone (since you can't switch anyone in to Zam). https://pastebin.com/raw/Gj8f5RuR Ease of Use 5/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 5/5. 20/20 -- Really solid original team, and yes, Jynx + Lapras is perfectly viable. The Blizzard spam in this team looks fun and broken and it's a concept surprisingly not represented by existing autoteams. I'm also a fan of tbolt Tauros when their Rhylem is comfortably checked. https://pastebin.com/raw/NFG34H7i Ease of Use 4/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Jolteon is your only fast mon, and it does not beat Alakzam or Tauros who can harass or sweep the rest of your team. Slowbro is overworked handling opposing Zams, Tauros', Rhylem, and possibly Starmie and Jynx. If you lose Slowbro, your entire team falls apart. Blizzard is universally better and it hits Exeggutor, which is the only thing I can imagine Fire Blast hitting that is not hit harder by Body Slam and EQ. The team overall looks alright. Light Screen doesn't make much sense to me on Zapdos, since the majority of Zapdos switch-ins are physical attackers, and the ones that are special attackers you would be better off Drill Pecking (Jynx) or Twaving (Jolteon) them on the switch (both: Zam). Ease of Use 3/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 4/5. 17/20 The teams that stand out to me as the easiest to use and most effective are: https://pastebin.com/raw/T6z36fRp https://pastebin.com/raw/1imKdL9A They are also pretty distinct from one another. https://pastebin.com/raw/seivZwCk This team is also pretty distinct. I think it really needs Body Slam on Snorlax though. I think Zapdos will give you a lot of trouble, and Lax needing to use recoil to damage it when it's your safest consistent Zapdos switch-in will make it difficult to deal with. Body Slam also supports your team very well, as it helps set up Nidoking to sweep. (Edited to avoid double hidden power glitch) @HBC GSC OU: https://pokepast.es/be7f6660c3774632 Ease of Use 1/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 3/5. Strength: 1/5. 10/20 There are too many problems with this team. The Lax and Starmie are fine. The Dnite is less so. Outrage is terrible in this gen, and overall Dnite is too unreliable to use effectively. If you are going to use Dnite, it almost certainly wants Thunder in order to threaten Suicune and Skarmory. Dynamic Punch would be preferred over HP Fighting due to actually threatening Snorlax and Tyranitar, possibly breaking Miltank and Chansey as well. Outrage and Extreme Speed are not good in this generation. You will find more utility out of Body Slam or Fire Blast. The Tyranitar set is close to being alright, but Crunch is 1) special in this generation and 2) not very effective against physical walls in this generation. Thunder or Fire Blast is preferred as coverage to keep out Skarmory, Steelix, Suicune, Forretress. Alternatively, you could drop Curse for Pursuit to make this a support mon. The Umbreon set is a gimmick, which we don't really want on an autoteam. Gengar needs Explosion in order to be a threat in this tier. There is no reason to use Giga Drain (which has 60 bp and does much less than Thunderbolt to waters) on such a frail mon, and there are only two reasons to use Fire Punch: Forretress and Steelix. I would definitely replace Giga Drain and consider replacing Fire Punch if your team is able to handle the aforementioned two. ADV OU: https://pokepast.es/8de4d690805be640 Ease of Use 2/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 4/5. Strength: 2/5. 13/20 It's not a bad team, but it's completely smashed by CB Aero and CB Mence, who have plenty of opportunities to switch in and kill something for free. DD Mence and DD Gyarados are also able to sweep cleanly with only a little prior damage on Suicune and Snorlax. Opposing DD TTars may be an issue as well. You can fix this by changing Suicune to a more standard defensive set and adding a Skarmory or other physical wall to compliment Celebi's weaknesses. Also, your Celebi has EVs for HP Fire, but no Hidden Power. HP Grass is normally preferred over Giga Drain anyway due to PP. Blaziken doesn't need Black Belt, even if it helps clear an OHKO on Blissey, because no Blissey in their right mind is switching into it anyway. Leftovers helps ensure that your stallbreaker isn't stalled into dying to Sandstorm damage. HGSS OU: https://pokepast.es/8e5338d2d040ad26 What in the name of Arceus is that Mespirit lead set? Is that a max special attack Crocune?? Persim Berry Metagross??? POISON RESIST BERRY HEATRAN???? ???/20 https://pokepast.es/72057fdcc7975a5a Ease of Use 1/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 3/5. 14/20 This is almost a good team. Make Machamp your lead (no Team Preview in Gen 4), and change Venusaur to Celebi and give it Stealth Rock and you're solid. I would also make Dnite either MixNite (replace Outrage/Fire Punch with Draco Meteor/Fire Blast) or DD Nite (replace Fire Punch with DD). BW" OU: https://pokepast.es/76d0f9cfef84a167 Ease of Use 4/5. Aromatherapy with Gliscor should be avoided if possible while teambuilding, especially for an autoteam. The Jirachi set is a little odd, as I'm not sure what threats it counters or how it attempts to sweep, so I'll need you to explain the theory behind it (I'm less knowledgeable about BW2 in general so there may be a reason). My instinct would be to give Jirachi a support set with SR, allowing Gliscor to drop Stealth Rock for Toxic, making it a powerful stallbreaker. BW" Ubers: https://pokepast.es/41875c6220539d63 Ease of Use 3/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 3/5. 14/20 It's a bit questionable with the item selection. Persim -> Lum on Groudon is a no-brainer to me. Literally anything over Micle Berry makes more sense for Forretress. Leftovers is perfectly fine to use. I'm overall not convinced it handles major threats like Kyogre and Ho-oh and SD Arceus sets (especially Arceus-Ghost), so I feel like Giratina would be a wise choice over defensive Arceus-Ghost.
Miki Sayaka i either played those tiers when i was starting to play so my teambuilding wasn't top notch. If it was today I wouldn't surely build like this. The thing is, I'm making this post because wtf, I have no idea what happened with those berries. I think there was an old client bug where the berries would get swapped for others, maybe this was the case, I don't know, but I don't think i put these berries on purpose, cuz like you said, makes no sense to be there. About that Jirachi, the idea is to hax your opponent, with hax moves. I enjoyed hax then and I enjoy it now too, so why not make a haxxy mon do the hax?

I think it might prefer Thunder or Tbolt to give you security against Vaporeon and also hit Suicune and Cloyster. which could cause trouble for this team. H Pump is probably fine despite its low PP since this is an offensive team. https://pastebin.com/raw/xPuwi6bj Ease of Use 2/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 4/5. 16/20 - This is a creative team but it meshes well, and doesn't look too confusing. Snorlax should really have Body Slam here though, as it provides offensive synergy with Tentacruel by possibly paraing Skarmory and Reflect Raikou. [Edited] https://pastebin.com/raw/h7u6iazW Ease of Use 1/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 3/5. 14/20 - I would definitely have Rest Talk on one of your Elecs. This team barely can handle Curse + Fire Blast Lax, for which the best option is roaring it with Raikou. I think Cloyster might make a better lead here because it can switch into and threaten to explode on that specific Lax endgame. I'm not sure about Explosion + Rest on Steelix either, was that ever standard? It's a free switch in for Zapdos, which will give your team a hard time especially since your Raikou isn't Rest Talk. Rock Slide, Body Slam, or even Roar might get more value over Rest. Gengar is similarly problematic as it can sweep if it carries Fire Punch, or at least be a nuissance to Lax and continually wear down Raikou, which is forced to Rest without being able to Sleep Talk, costing momentum. https://pastebin.com/raw/5uRSP8rq Ease of Use 2/5. Originality 4/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 2/5. 13/20 - For being similar to the above team, it has more problems. Without Tentacruel and no Rest Talk Electrics, stuff like Toxic Suicune and Growth Vaporeon will easily become a problem. The other problems are similar to above, as Gengar and Zapdos will still mostly bully your team around. It also still doesn't have enough Lax counterplay. https://pastebin.com/raw/sSn4vis3 Ease of Use 3/5. Originality 4/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 3/5. 15/20 https://pastebin.com/raw/L9eYEXGs Ease of Use 1/5. Strength: 3/5. 15/20 -- I don't think it's as solid as the team above for being as similar, but it's worth trying out. Also, my personal preference would be Curse + Fire Blast on Lax here, which is very solid when paired with Pursuit, especially when you are running Lovely Kiss. It lets Lax possibly beat everything that isn't Pursuit weak and you just have to be wary of getting exploded on by Cloyster or something. [Edited to remove HP dupes] Overall, I think you should change about 1/3 of your Double-Edges on Lax to Body Slams. DE is actually a liability in some cases because Lax's HP is so important. You don't want to not be able to use STAB because it puts you in Thunder 2HKO range for instance. Body Slam also spreads Paralysis which is a huge asset for teammates in this tier, especially when you have other sweepers that appreciate the support, especially Marowak and Tentacruel, but also even special attackers Vaporeon or Exeggutor. @Petit Dragon GSC OU https://pastebin.com/raw/Q69GNQuC Ease of Use 4/5. Strength: 2/5. 14/20 - Giga Drain doesn't exist. Grass Knot, Leaf Storm, and HP Fire are all preferred choices. Overall, the double grass is a little suspect, even with double Water to back it. You could go a couple ways with improving it, but I think adding a spinblocker and/or scarf ttar to remove Starmies might be necessary. There's also almost no reason not to use Outrage on DD Dragonite in this tier when there are no fairies and barely any Steels that can take Outrage more than once after a DD. https://pastebin.com/raw/2caazqyW Ease of Use 2/5. Originality 5/5. Fun 5/5. Strength: 2/5. 14/20 - CM Lucario is actually interesting, it's a bit retro, but unlike Giga Drain Celebi, I think it has merit. Choice Specs might be better though, especially if it's going to be a stall breaker. Slightly interesting use of scarf infernape over the(I believe?) more common fire attackers, aside from that, fairly cookie cutter gen 5 ou sun, so , for a gen 5 ou team, not much to comment on it, and overall does what it's supposed to do, hp ice over hp fire can be an option on venu, but it's subjective/preference anyway, also minor nitpick on the volcarona, I tweaked it a bit, use 29 hp iv to take less damage from life orb, I put in a pastebin with the tweaks on the volcarona https://pastebin.com/raw/kbVMYN0h added here, overall a pretty workable team(as workable as anything gets in this tier anyway) Ease of Use 3/5. Strength: 5/5. 15/20 Some interesting stuff, unusual deoxys and dialga, with an interesting, slightly different arceus build, should be quite nice, given how they fare against metagame trend, there are weaknesses to generic things but that's a given for just about every "normal" / "standard" gen 5 ubers team, and realistically not possible to mitigate them, so this is about as good as it gets, oh and nice semi-creative sets helps keeping things interesting too, although shock value isn't much of a thing in autoteams the sets are good enough in their own rights, and likely more fun than all the cookie cutters thrown around here. Fun 5/5. Strength: 5/5. 18/20 -- This team's structure is super brilliant. Empoleon only gets hard walled by Blissey and Waters, which are baited and exploded on by Taunt+Explosion Heatran. After that, Empoleon is a dangerous endgame sweeper. However, it can be outsped by scarf Flygon whose EQ ends it. But for that, you have Gengar, which is a nightmare for any team once it gets a sub set up. Gengar also answers Blissey well if Heatran is unable to explode on it. Scizor can trap and remove Celebi for Shaymin. Shaymin gives great offensive momentum between Seed Flare and Leech Seed, and overall it's an annoying mon to wall. I wish I could recommend Passho>Shuca on your Heatran actually since I think that would make it an even better lure for Empoleon, but it would make you too weak to opposing Heatrans I think.
