Pokémon GO Adventure Week is a special event in which you can catch more rock-type creatures. We summarize what this guide consists of and also give you some tricks to get more out of it. Pokémon GO special events are expanded with Adventure Week. Thus has baptized Niantic to be held from today until the next May 25. As with the Festival of Water and World Blossom, there is a type of predominant creature during these seven days: rock type. It is the one chosen by the company to appear more frequently in this event. During the days of Adventure Week, you can capture more rock-type Pokémon, such as Onix or Aerodactyl. There are also other promotions and offers in Pokémon GO, as well as different bonuses to get more candy and objects. This time it seems that the game goes a step further, extending the duration of the event with respect to the previous one, that of the world blossoming. Also added are new bonuses that had not come into play until now, perhaps preparing for the great summer update. Will we see the PvP battles then? It seems so, but we will have to wait and settle for these special occasions. When does Adventure Week begin and end? As announced by Niantic, this event begins on May 18 at 13:00 and ends on May 25 at the same time, the time of the west coast of the United States. In Spain translates into nine more hours, that is, from 22.00 on Thursday to the same time as the next. Rock respawn, notably increased. Niantic has reported that it is the turn of rock type creatures. This means that this type of Pokémon will appear more frequently until next May 25, something that happened with the water type during the Water Festival and with the plants during the World Blossom. As with Magikarp, it's the ideal opportunity to evolve some of the pokémon you have in your team that usually don't get enough candy. For example it will be easier to evolve Onix to Steelix or to transform the two fossils, Omanyte and Kabuto.
Obligatory "this game is still alive" post. Coverage like this is nice. I still fire up the app when I walk to work.
Same, I like to have it open while going for walks to collect candy cause it feels like I'm accomplishing something when I get enough candy to evolve stuff.
