(Spoilers: the whole story so far was a really horrible video game set in the actual setting of the story) (OR we just went off the rails and are now going to be a jojo meme)
(These past few posts hardly make any grammatical sense :x Let's be more careful with grammar please) Spoiler: Current Goals - A female ally joins the protagonist's party (she has a special power). - The protagonist's party brings peace to a town dominated by an evil faction. - A non-human ally joins the protagonist's party. - Two of the party members fight each other. "What the hell
(I'll admit I misinterpreted the intended sentence structure, but the sentence above does make grammatical sense, even if it doesn't make sense by any other measure.) (After Pokemonnerd added "And the clown" and IceKirby added ", freezing everything between" I read it as though the "And" functioned as a coordinating conjunction. What Pokemonnerd/IceKirby probably intended was "the orb wooshed through the air and also through the clown," but I thought this was unnatural and so I instinctively read it as "the orb wooshed through the air [...] and - unrelatedly - the clown did something else." It ended up an awkward sentence but it is actually grammatical. I can see why it would be confusing though if you tried to read it as though the clown was the object of the first clause, rather than the subject of a new clause.) (The reason it's hard to read is that usually you'd write it like this: "The orb wooshed through the air, and the clown, freezing everything between it and Harry, rebooted Windows XP." That extra comma isn't necessary, but it does make it easier to read.) said the girl,
(Yes I did mean to imply it went through the clown, it's just hard to convey something with just 3 words and I don't want to durdle on with the progression of this lol. It would be different if we had more people doing this.) (Reading the sentence WU quoted though, doesn't really make much sense. Putting the comma after "it" so it would be "it, and Harry rebooted Windows XP" would bring a lot of clarity I think.) (We still need to figure out WHY Harry rebooted Windows. Does he have an omni tool or Pip-boy that runs on Windows or something? lol)
(I learnt a new word today: durdle) and she approached (Hmmm.... The clownbot was a good clownbot and it ran on XP. But with XP losing support the clownbot went haywire, xp)
(@pokemonnerd the clown is the the one that rebooted Windows, not Harry. The sentence without the subordinated clause is: "The orb wooshed through the air and the clown rebooted Windows XP.") (Which makes more sense in the story since the clown is an android (remember goal #3?)) (The inserted phrase "freezing everything between it and Harry" is what's throwing everyone off. I doubt it would be better if we had more people working on it, it would actually have more confusing turnarounds because the amount of possible interpretations and ideas for the direction of each sentence would increase. But in the end, there is no wrong way to finish a sentence as long as it is correct grammatically in the end, so don't worry about it. The point is that you are limited to 3 words and the ways those 3 words are manipulated by the person who comes next is beyond your control.)

startled, puny humans." (Fucking ninjas man.) ." Purple said, slightly (Okay I'm brought back to understanding from your latest explanation, @Whereabouts Unknown. Just want to clarify, what I meant was that I want to always get as much done or across in the three words as possible. With more people it wouldn't necessarily be too hard to keep track of it, just that more moments like us figuring out and clarifying what just happened in the story would be more commonplace.) (Also Purple is obviously wearing all purple clothes so the girl called him purple. Duh @Joyverse)

, Granddaughter of Pika. (That could just be hand waved by Mika not knowing what her power is or even that she has one. Like how Purple made the zombie break dance without knowing how he did it. She didn't really explain everything, just said "everything always freezes." Was expecting someone to continue on with that but yeah lol.)
