banner by @Annoying Orange Welcome to the SM Ubers Cores thread. The purpose of the thread is showing off solid Ubers Cores, that can be used with success in the generation of Sun and Moon. Feel free to post some of your own cores, always explaining the synergy between the Pokemon of the core, and the playstyle of the teams that the particular core fits in! You can see an example of a pretty famous core, in the "Hyper Offense Cores" section below. Let the sharing begin! Spoiler: Hyper Offensive Cores Spoiler: Tapu Lele + Deoxys-Attack + One of the most common Psychic abusing cores, Tapu Lele + Deoxys-Attack are a great tool for every Hyper Offensive team. Tapu Lele sets up Psychic Terrain and Deoxys-Attack benefits in many ways from it. The whole idea of this core is use boosted Psycho Boosts, while at the same time, being protected against priority allowing Deoxys-Attack to finish off many of the Pokemon that used to threat it, such as Arceus formes, Yveltal, Rayquaza or Giratina. Tapu- Lele EV spread is 216 Evs in speed, so it can outspeed both primals, while 40 evs on defense are for taking a hit from Jolly Life Orb Ekiller, while 252 in Sp Attack so it can deal good amount of damage under the Psychic Terrain with Psychic (for Xerneas, Primal Groudon or support Arceus Formes), while Moonblast can be used for coverage (for Yveltal, Tyranitar, Mega Sableye etc). Taunt is there for the slower Defog users, such as support Arceus Formes, or Giratina-O, while it can prevent Xerneas from setting up Geomancy. Regarding Deoxys-Attack, Superpower allows it to deal with Tyranitar, Psyshock is a cool move to use under Psychic Terrain, since it does not drop your Sp. Attack stats, Psycho Boost is an insane hard hitting move which with the help of Psychic Terrain can hit deadly. Knock Off is there for Solgaleo, Lunala, Lugia etc. Pusrsuit is for Mega Gengar, while Ice Beam can be used for Salamence, Yveltal or Zygarde-Complete! Spoiler: Sets Tapu Lele @ Terrain Extender / Psychium Z Ability: Psychic Surge EVs: 40 Def / 252 SpA / 216 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Psychic - Moonblast - Taunt - Psychic Terrain /Shadow Ball Deoxys-Attack @ Life Orb Ability: Pressure EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Rash Nature - Superpower /Psyshock - Psycho Boost - Knock Off / Pursuit - Ice Beam Spoiler: Bulky Offense Cores Spoiler: Mega Scizor + Primal Kyogre + This core can easily fit on a Balance team. Mega Scizor can easily bait Fire types because it is only weak to Fire + It have much bulk. If a Fire types comes against Mega Scizor then it can U-Turn and switch to Primal Kyogre. Everyone knows that CM Primal Kyogre is an "OHKOgre" lol. CM Primal Kyogre can kill everything with CM , It also acts as a WallBreaker. This team is weak to Tapu Lele and Primal Groudon because Tapu lele can stop Mega Scizor's Bullet punch and P Orge can't take any Hits from Primal Groudon so add Partners like Water Arceus , Giratina-O and Giratina , They can check Primal Groudon. Add Partners like Magearna or Solgaleo because They can check Tapu Lele and its based Cores. Spoiler: Sets Scizor (M) @ Scizorite Ability: Technician EVs: 248 HP / 128 Atk / 132 SDef Adamant Nature - Bullet Punch - Roost - Swords Dance - U-turn Kyogre @ Blue Orb Ability: Drizzle EVs: 168 HP / 252 SAtk / 88 Spd Modest Nature - Ice Beam - Scald / Origin Pulse - Calm Mind - Thunder Spoiler: Xerneas + Mega Lucario + Xerneas is meant to check a few Dragon type like Arceus Dragon and Giratina-O, as well as Yveltal, Mega Sableye and Darkceus. Given a Scarf, it is able to revenge kill a lot of threats, namely Yveltal, Darkceus, Deoxys-A, Mega Lucario. Moonblast is the obvious STAB move. The other 2 moves can be used according to the needs of the team and range from Thunder, Focus Blast, Hidden Power Ground, Hidden Power Fire, and heck even Close Combat to catch an Chan/Bliss switch. The 4th Slot is for Aromatherapy which is a sort of a suprise. But it is viable to the fact it is a compression of a revenge killer + cleric which HO and a few other offensive teams can't afford. Mega Lucario is there take on Pokemon, that would hard check Xern anyday. While it isn't supposed to be wildly switched into stuff. With or without a SD boost it can threaten most Xern checks such as Ho-oh, Chan/Bliss, Arceus-Steel, Ferrothorn, Aegislash and ofc Magearna. Only the 3rd attack should any switches and this includes things like Ice Punch, Crunch, Iron Tail and Stone Edge. With that said, Xern helps it cover Mega Sableye, Bulky Yveltal which justs sucks, and Zygarde-C which is easily akin to a Physical Chansey. A good offensive or incase of a bulky offense, a defensive backbone made of Primal Groudon and Support Arceus Formes helps this core greatly. An Extremekiller check like Giratina-O is also necessary too. Spoiler: Sets Xerneas @ Choice Scarf Ability: Fairy Aura EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Moonblast - Focus Blast / Hidden Power Ground - Thunder - Aromatherapy Lucario (M) @ Lucarionite Ability: Justified EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Swords Dance - Bullet Punch - Close Combat - Stone Edge / Crunch / Extreme Speed / Iron Tail / Ice Punch Spoiler: Balance Cores Spoiler: Magearna + Yveltal + This one Works Perfectly on Balance teams because it can Cover Most of the Threats in the SM Ubers MetaGame. This Core can Stop Set up Threats mostly at both Physical side and Special Side. Magearna is SpDefensive and Yveltal is Defensive. Magearna can Check Xerneas , DarkCeus , FairyCeus , Yveltal , Tapu Lele and Other Specially Offensive Mons. Magearna can Heart Swap Set Up Sweepers in Special Side which Yveltal cannot beat. But in the Other side , Yveltal can beat Every Physical Threats Like Solgaleo , Arceus , Lunala ( By Sucker Punch or Foul Play ). This Core Needs Primal Groudon with it because Pdon can check P orge. Hazard Removers Like WaterCeus , DragonCeus and Giratina-O can be Very Helpful and Supportive for this core because they can take Both Pdon and Ho-Oh attacks. Spoiler: Sets Magearna @ Leftovers Ability: Soul-Heart EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Fleur Cannon - Flash Cannon - Heart Swap - Pain Split / Calm Mind / Thunder Wave Yveltal @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet / Charti Berry Ability: Dark Aura EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe Bold / Impish Nature IVs: 0 Atk / 31 Atk - Foul Play - Roost - Taunt - Toxic / Sucker Punch Spoiler: Buzzwole + Arceus-Water + Both Arceus-Water and Buzzwole can cover most of the Physical threats in the Ubers meta game. Buzzwole can take all physical Electric attacks ,it can Take Ground attacks and it can check SD Arceus formes. In the other side , Arceus-Water can take attacks from Flying types and Fire types like Primal groudon , Ho-Oh and Mega Salamence. This core has some issues with Special attackers. Xerneas , Yveltal , Primal Kyogre , Strong Psychic types and Other Specs users. So this core needs partners like partners such as Primal Groudon, Yveltal, and Magearna works well because this core is solid against Ground types and can take ground attacks for its Partners. Spoiler: Sets Buzzwole @ Leftovers Ability: Beast Boost EVs: 248 HP / 184 Def / 76 SpD Impish Nature - Hammer Arm - Earthquake - Toxic - Roost Arceus-Water @ Splash Plate Ability: Multitype EVs: 244 HP / 244 Def / 20 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Ice Beam / Judgment - Toxic - Defog - Recover Spoiler: Stall Cores Spoiler: Zygarde-C + Blissey + This core can easily fit into a Stall and can cover most of the threats at the SM Ubers MetaGame. Zygarde-Complete is the physical wall in this Core which can take any Physical attacks and can check physical threats like Mega Salamence , Primal Groudon , Ho-Oh and Mega Lucario. In the Other side , Blissey is the Special wall which can specially wall pokemon's. Blissey is a good check for Primal Kyogre , Xerneas and Some of the Calm Mind Arceus Formes. This core is weak to Pheromosa , Deoxys-A and Lunala with Psyshock. Defensive Charti Berry Yveltal and Magearna can be a great Addition to this team. Spoiler: Sets Zygarde @ Leftovers Ability: Power Construct EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe Impish Nature - Thousand Arrows - Dragon Tail - Rest - Sleep Talk Blissey @ Shed Shell Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpD Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Snatch - Toxic - Heal Bell - Soft-Boiled Spoiler: Clefable + Ho-Oh + Giratina + + Physically-defensive Ho-Oh is a double-sided wall which can counter many Pokémon in the Übers metagame, and its longevity is further augmented by its insane healing potential thanks to Recover and Regenerator. Giratina makes an excellent Defog user thanks to its Pressure Ability, which allows it to outstall the opponent's Stealth Rock in most cases. As such, it synergizes extremely well with Ho-Oh, which really appreciates having Stealth Rock off its side of the field. With its incredibly huge physical bulk, it can take powerful physical attacks aimed at Ho-Oh and Clefable, while its resistance to Water also allows it to take attacks of such a type aimed at Ho-Oh somewhat. In turn, Ho-Oh, with its high Special Defense, can take super effective special attacks aimed at Giratina, such as Moongeist Beams, Moonblasts, Ice Beams and Dark Pulses. Clefable's immunity and resistance to Dragon- and Dark-type attacks respectively aimed at Giratina is awesome. Heal Bell can wake Giratina up from its sleep when it uses Rest, and cure Ho-Oh of undesirable status effects such as Toxic. Finally, with its Unaware Ability, Clefable can counter most Calm Mind or Swords Dance Arceus Formes, as well as Geomancy Xerneas. Spoiler: Sets Clefable (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Unaware EVs: 212 HP / 80 Def / 216 SpD Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Heal Bell - Moonblast - Protect - Wish Ho-Oh @ Leftovers Ability: Regenerator EVs: 244 HP / 216 Def / 48 SpD Impish Nature - Brave Bird - Recover - Sacred Fire - Toxic Giratina @ Leftovers Ability: Pressure EVs: 220 HP / 216 Def / 72 SpD Relaxed Nature IVs: 30 Spe - Defog - Dragon Tail - Rest - Toxic
http://i.imgur.com/Yy36bug.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7ADoT9R.jpg Solgaleo + Arceus-Dark Core This core is Mostly used in Balanced teams and Used on Stall teams ( I Once saw Lance using it on Stall ). This core really worked well on Balance and Stall teams. Each Mons can cover their weaknesses and Can give good Support to the remaining team members. Solgaleo can Check the Fairy types which Arceus-Dark is weak to. In the Other side , Arceus-Dark can Check Ghost mons like Lunala and can Check other Dark Types that Solgaleo can't beat. This Core can support the Whole team but this core is Weak to Pdon and Ho-Oh so Giratina-O or Giratina can be a good support for this Core. Arceus-Dark can Set Up Calm Mind and can Sweep mons. It can use Will-O-Wisp to stop Physical threats or Can use Refresh to Recover its Status. I run Scarf Solgaleo but There are sets like Expert Belt and Splash-Z on Solgaleo that you can use on this Core so it is up to you. The sets are given Below , Spoiler: Arceus-Dark + Solgaleo Arceus-Dark @ Dread Plate Ability: Multitype EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Judgment - Calm Mind - Recover - Refresh / Will-O-Wisp Solgaleo @ Expert Belt Ability: Full Metal Body EVs: 80 HP / 200 Atk / 120 Def / 108 Spe Adamant Nature - Sunsteel Strike - Morning Sun - Stone Edge - Earthquake ( OR ) Solgaleo @ Normalium Z Ability: Full Metal Body EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Sunsteel Strike - Zen Headbutt / Earthquake - Splash - Flame Charge ( OR ) Solgaleo @ Choice Scarf Ability: Full Metal Body EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Earthquake - Flare Blitz - Sunsteel Strike - Wild Charge --- Post updated --- Stall Core Muk-Alola + Mega Slowbro + Magearna This Core works very well on Stall teams. These three can Cover their weaknesses and can Support stalls with their Extreme Bulk. It just needs Hazard support , Defog Support , and Healing Support. Muk-Alola can Surprisingly Check CM Lunala Which is a Threat for Stalls , Alolan Muk have a lot of Bulk which makes it hard to kill because it have Assault Vest with it. Mega Slowbro can Take out all the Physical Threats in the Tier and It can Help vs Ho-Oh which is also a threat for Stalls. Magearna can help against Set Up Sweepers like Xerneas and it can check Dark Mons which is increased in the Ubers MetaGame. Magearna is a Complete Check for Yveltal and Arceus-Dark. This Core Just needs Support like Hazard , Healing and Hazard Removal so add it. This is the Best Stall core I have ever seen. The Sets are given Below , Spoiler: Alola-Muk + Magearna + Mega Slowbro Muk-Alolan @ Assault Vest Ability: Poison Touch EVs: 248 HP / 100 Atk / 92 Def / 64 SpD / 4 Spe Adamant/Brave Nature - Knock Off - Pursuit - Gunk Shot/Poison Jab - Shadow Sneak/Brick Break/Fire Blast Magearna @ Leftovers Ability: Soul-Heart EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Heart Swap - Thunder Wave - Fleur Cannon - Pain Split Slowbro @ Slowbronite Ability: Regenerator EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD Bold Nature - Iron Defense / Calm Mind - Scald - Psyshock - Slack Off --- Post updated --- Hyper Offensive Core Mega Lucario + Yveltal I Recently Saw some guys using This core at SM Ubers. This Core is awesome to use. Mega Lucario is good to kill stuffs but it cannot beat mons like Zygarde and it can't touch Ghost Types. But Yveltal can remove this problem . Yveltal can make use of U-turn to get Mega Lucario into battle against Mons like Tyranitar , Blissey , Chansey and Other mons which are weak to Mega Lucario. Mega Lucario is a good check to Fairies and mons like DarkCeus and RockCeus. I think Both of this mons can't switch in against Opposing Xern so I suggest using a Mon that can check Xerneas . Primal Groudon , Magearna and Solgaleo can Perfectly Help this core because they can check Xerneas. Spoiler is given below , Spoiler: Mega Lucario + Yveltal Yveltal @ Choice Specs Ability: Dark Aura EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Dark Pulse - Oblivion Wing - Heat Wave - U-turn Lucario-Mega @ Lucarionite Ability: Justified EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant / Jolly Nature - Swords Dance - Close Combat - Bullet Punch - Iron Tail --- Post updated --- My Request : Mysterious M , its me Norman. Please also make a SM Ubers Sample teams thread so I can Submit some of my teams.
Thanks for your contribution, we will examine the cores & add them. As for the Sample Teams Thread, it is on its way!
Anti-Stall Core Ho-Oh + Lunala Stalls are Still Alive Surprisingly. Muk-Alola Usage in Stalls has increased which can check Lunala and Every Stall teams are Containing a check for Ho-Oh ( Example : Arceus-Water , Giratina ). So I Decided to add both of this as a Core because They can Beat every type Of stalls. Ho-Oh can beat Muk-Alola , and Other Mons which are not Physically Defensive. Ho-Oh can even hit Hard if its opponent is Physically Defensive. Lunala Benefits in many way from Ho-Oh because Ho-Oh can beat Muk-Alola and other Specially Defensive mons and can damage some of the Physically defensive mons. Lunala can Set up Substitute and Calm Mind which can Beat everything that Ho-Oh cannot. Lunala can sweep every Physically Defensive mons. Ho-Oh have Substitute too so it can Sweep Safely by Hiding in a Sub. Lunala does the Same too. This Core can be fit in a Bulky Offensive team . This core Needs a Defensive Backbone so don't forget to add that. hazard Remover is essential because Ho-Oh. The Spoiler is given Below , Spoiler: Ho-Oh + Lunala Ho-Oh @ Life Orb Ability: Regenerator EVs: 248 HP / 196 Atk / 52 SpD / 12 Spe Adamant Nature - Brave Bird - Sacred Fire - Recover - Substitute Lunala @ Leftovers Ability: Shadow Shield EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Calm Mind - Substitute - Moongeist Beam - Moonblast
Hyper Offensive Core Shuckle + Solgaleo This is a nice Hyper Offensive core with Shuckle as the lead. Shuckle can set up Hazards like Stealth Rock and Sticky Web. It can also troll Opposing mons at the start by using Encore and Toxic. Sticky Web is the Important Thing right here because Solgaleo gets a lot of Profit from this. Solgaleo can Run Z-Splash and can raise its Attacks which is combined with the Sticky Web and makes it as a Powerful Speedy Sweeper. It can also Break stalls easily. Running Mental Herb on Shuckle on Prevent Taunt at first stage. This Core just needs a good Backbone to Support. Nothing to Explain about this. Spoiler is given Below , Spoiler: Shuckle + Solgaleo Solgaleo @ Normalium Z Ability: Full Metal Body EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Sunsteel Strike - Zen Headbutt / Earthquake - Splash - Wild Charge / Stone Edge / Rock Slide Shuckle @ Mental Herb Ability: Sturdy EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Sticky Web - Encore - Stealth Rock - Toxic --- Post updated --- Balanced Core Magearna + Yveltal This one Works Perfectly on Balance teams because it can Cover Most of the Threats in the SM Ubers MetaGame. The Spoiler is given below , Spoiler: Yveltal + Magearna Magearna @ Leftovers Ability: Soul-Heart EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Fleur Cannon - Flash Cannon - Heart Swap - Pain Split / Calm Mind / Thunder Wave Yveltal @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet / Charti Berry Ability: Dark Aura EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe Bold / Impish Nature IVs: 0 Atk / 31 Atk - Foul Play - Roost - Taunt - Toxic / Sucker Punch
Zygarde-Complete + Blissey Stall core. This core can easily fit into a Stall and can cover most of the threats at the SM Ubers MetaGame. The spoiler is given below, Spoiler: Blissey + Zygarde-Complete Zygarde @ Leftovers Ability: Power Construct EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe Impish Nature - Thousand Arrows - Dragon Tail - Rest - Sleep Talk Blissey @ Shed Shell Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpD Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Snatch - Toxic - Heal Bell - Soft-Boiled
Physically-defensive Ho-Oh is a double-sided wall which can counter many Pokémon in the Übers metagame, and its longevity is further augmented by its insane healing potential thanks to Recover and Regenerator. Spoiler: Clefable + Ho-Oh + Giratina Clefable (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Unaware EVs: 212 HP / 80 Def / 216 SpD Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Heal Bell - Moonblast - Protect - Wish Ho-Oh @ Leftovers Ability: Regenerator EVs: 244 HP / 216 Def / 48 SpD Impish Nature - Brave Bird - Recover - Sacred Fire - Toxic Giratina @ Leftovers Ability: Pressure EVs: 220 HP / 216 Def / 72 SpD Relaxed Nature IVs: 30 Spe - Defog - Dragon Tail - Rest - Toxic
Balanced core Mega Scizor + Primal Kyogre This core can easily fit on a Balance team. Its a Very fun core to use on a Balanced team. Spoiler: Mega Scizor + Primal Kyogre Scizor (M) @ Scizorite Ability: Technician EVs: 248 HP / 128 Atk / 132 SDef Adamant Nature - Bullet Punch - Roost - Swords Dance - U-turn Kyogre @ Blue Orb Ability: Drizzle EVs: 168 HP / 252 SAtk / 88 Spd Modest Nature - Ice Beam - Scald / Origin Pulse - Calm Mind - Thunder ( Note : Sorry I cannot load sprites because I am Posting this on Android )
+ ScarfXern + Mega Luke Offense Core. I didn't exactly create the core. However this was suggested to me by some of my friends. Xerneas is meant to check a few Dragon type like Arceus Dragon and Giratina-O, as well as Yveltal, Mega Sableye and Darkceus. Hope this core helps you greatly! Put this in either HO or BO! Also have fun with the dank nicknames lol! Spoiler: Xerneas + Mega Lucario Made In Heaven (Xerneas) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Fairy Aura EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Moonblast - Focus Blast / Hidden Power Ground - Thunder - Aromatherapy Star Platinum (Lucario) (M) @ Lucarionite Ability: Justified EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Swords Dance - Bullet Punch - Close Combat - Stone Edge / Crunch / Extreme Speed / Iron Tail / Ice Punch
Balanced Core Arceus-Water + Buzzwole Both Arceus-Water and Buzzwole can cover most of the Physical threats in the Ubers meta game. Spoiler is given below , Spoiler: Arceus-Water + Buzzwole Buzzwole @ Leftovers Ability: Beast Boost EVs: 248 HP / 184 Def / 76 SpD Impish Nature - Hammer Arm - Earthquake - Toxic - Roost Arceus-Water @ Splash Plate Ability: Multitype EVs: 244 HP / 244 Def / 20 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Ice Beam / Judgment - Toxic - Defog - Recover STONE COLD STUNNER !!!!
btw norman, 252+ SpA Choice Specs Fairy Aura Xerneas Moonblast vs. 244 HP / 0 SpD Arceus-Water: 292-345 (66 - 78%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (292, 295, 300, 303, 306, 310, 313, 316, 319, 324, 327, 330, 334, 337, 340, 345) if your core can't handle common stab then it doesn't call as a core :v, but I saw you mentioned PDon and some other mons which could give better strength to your core. You may should add them. Anyways I am not that good in Ubers but I've been using these mons and they are doing quite well Spoiler: Yveltal+Primal Groudon's HO Core Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb Ability: Desolate Land EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Serious Nature - Precipice Blades - Stealth Rock - Fire Punch - Thunder Wave/Toxic Yveltal @ Life Orb Ability: Dark Aura EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Mild Nature - Taunt - Oblivion Wing - Dark Pulse - Sucker Punch PDon and Yve both have great offensive attacks and good coverage. Yveltal can kill things with stab Dark Pulse and is pretty much spamable, While PDon checks Yvel's weaknesses and is a reliable offensive rock setter. Taunt on Yveltal helps against Stall teams and Oblivion Wing to recover some health. T-wave on PDon helps to cripple fast mons which tries to switch into PDon and Toxic helps to cripple fat mons likes Giratina-O, Arceus-Water etc. other two stabs are mandatory on PDon.
Norman did say the core's meant for taking on physical threats btw. e:might wanna change the text colour to no colour / default so the dark theme peeps can read it. As for Specs Xern, idt we'd need to worry about it as much as gen6 thanks to Magearna.
Before I Start to Post my another core , I am thanking Lance and Theories for helping me to create this Hyper Offense core because they gave me some good ideas to improve this core and We did some Test battles with this Core and got success. Did anyone want to see Darkrai again in the Ubers meta game? The core proves that Darkrai have still some chances to prove something in the Ubers MetaGame. Hyper offense Core ( With the help of Lance and Theories ) Arceus-Ground + Darkrai. I gave Gravity to Arceus-Ground. Gravity is useful here for two things. 1.)It deactivates Levitation and makes every Pokemon to Unresist Ground. So Arceus-Ground Doesn't needs Stone Edge anymore. Arceus-Ground can now hit every pokemon by Earthquake with the Help of Gravity. Swords dance Raises Arceus-Ground Attack and it can sweep everything by Earthquake and Extreme Speed now. 2.)Gravity raises Accuary so Darkrai can use Hypnosis without any Miss. Darkrai have Psychium-Z so it can activate Z-Hypnosis. After using Z-Hypnosis it can Raise its Speed. Darkrai have its Nasty Plot to raise its SpAtk. Then it can Sweep everything now. 3.)Gravity also prevents Pokemon's from using moves like Bounce, Fly, Splash, Jump Kick, Hi Jump Kick, Magnet Rise, Telekinesis, Sky Drop and Flying Press. This core is based on Gravity. This Core is weak to Scarf Xerneas , Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh because they all can check Darkrai so Partners like Primal Groudon can be Helpful to this core. Spoiler is given Below , Spoiler: Arceus-Ground + Darkrai Arceus-Ground @ Earth Plate Ability: Multitype EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature - Earthquake - Extreme Speed - Gravity - Swords Dance Darkrai @ Psychium Z Ability: Bad Dreams EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Hypnosis - Dark Pulse - Nasty Plot - Thunder / Sludge Bomb
A balance Core that is quite successfull as ferrothorn gives expansive support and a wide variety of options, with the most notable being Leech Seed and Spikes but Ferrothorn's 4x weakness to Fire can prove troublesome against more prominent Pokemon in the tier such as Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh as well as its setup fodder for Mluke Here comes zygarde that cover most of mons that checks Ferro while ferro can switch in on support arceus and kyogre that are threatning zygarde.Support Arceus formes are useful for patching up Zygarde's defensive flaws and can keep entry hazards off the field so Zygarde can transform without taking too much passive damage for a longlife on checking ho oh and don. Spoiler: Importable Ferrothorn @Leftovers Ability: Iron barbs EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Sdef Sassy Nature -spikes -leech seed -gyro ball -power whip/Protect Zygarde-Complete @Leftovers Ability: Power Construct Evs: 252 HP/ 252 Def / 4 Spdef Impish Nature -Rest -Thousand Arrows -Toxic/Glare -Sleep talk
Cool core holy break. Add this in your description. Description ( Added ) : Good partners for this core are Arceus-Water / Arceus-Dragon / Arceus-Ground or Giratina-O because of Special Primal Groudon. edit : Add Ho-Oh in the Description.
Arceus-Ground isn't a good partner by virtue of Special Primaldon. Being faster than Arc-Ground at +2 as well as tanking a Judgment makes Arc-Ground a bad choice against Special Primaldon. Gira-O too should be wary of Dragon Pulse / HP Ice. Ho-oh is by far a better partner here, SpDef Giratina-A could work too here.
Right. I will add Ho-Oh in the list. Thanks @Joyverse :) and Arceus-Water works. --- Post updated --- + Mega Gengar + Ho-Oh Bulky Offense/Balance core. Nickname for this core : "GTFO Stalls" This core is more fitted on Balanced team than Bulky offense teams. But this core is basically a Bulky offense core. Your choice. These two can function well against Stall. Ho-Oh band can hit like a truck. Mega Gengar can stop some Non-attacks by Taunt. Mega Gengar can remove threats for Ho-Oh and our team by Trapping, Taunting and then Killing/D-bonding if the Opponent is a powerful hard hitter. Then our remaining team can function well as well as Ho-Oh. Mega Gengar is weak to Ground-Types but Ho-Oh is immune to it. This core is weak to many Pokemon's in the Ubers Metagame because it is only used to Hard-Hit / Trap n Kill. Main threats are Primal Kyogre, Xerneas ( No Bulk on Ho-Oh ), Primal Groudon, LO Yveltal. So partners like Primal Groudon, Magearna/Clefable, Arceus-Water/Ground/Dragon and Ferrothorn can be helpful. Use my nickname for this team xD.
