wifi's pre-battle window, pokemon identitys clarity suggestion

    In the beginning of a wifi battle it is possible to see the opponent's team,
    but only in small icons which isn't very convenient.
    I recommending a view of the pokemon's names (maybe even the types).

    Whilst that would be great, we are trying to replicate the games, and all the games have are icons for the Pokémon, level and gender.

    exactly, blob. Adding that the game also shows wether a poke holds an item or not

    The thing is this isn't a fully aimed replica.
    after all as far as I noticed (my last non-pc game was Leaf-Green) the games also don't show things like:
    spikes level, stat changes ,etc , via mouse over between turns,
    which is given here (and was in even greater details back in the 1stnet-battle).
    And all that is without even going into the unlimited resources and controlled randoms,
    that are given in the construction of a pokemon,
    in the team builder which in the games would take a fully informed fully capable player
    mounts to construct to these extremes and accuracy.
    This online version is more of an idle than a plain simple one-to-one replica.

    But the hover things otherwise could just be gotten by you by scrolling up. The nicknames are impossible to obtain in that situation.

    scrolling is also something not possible in the original games.
    but I'm not talking about the nicknames, I'm talking about the species names,
    so it can be recognized more easily than it would be with just the icons.
    the very idea of the icons (in the original games) is to allow species of the opponent's team to be recognized,
    so I really don't think aiding the recognition could somehow impair the game's concept.
