Hey, I'm trying to connect to the Pokémon Online server but it immediately kicks me back off without an error message.

I saw earlier posts noting that there were server issues in this past week but they seem to have been fixed.

I downloaded the version that was displayed on the downloads page so I assume I have at least 2.6.0. If this seems to be the problem does anyone know where to check my version number?

I used pokémon online a while ago and it worked then. I just downloaded it on my new computer and I got this issue as soon as I tried to connect.

That's all the detail I can think of. If you can tell me how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

When that error message show up try clicking reconnect button which is next to find battle button.

You can check your version on bottom right corner.

Sometimes the server will kick you off when you first try to connect, and if you try to reconnect by using the reconnect button, it will work.

In response to this topic, I've enabled the forums notice that displays what you should do in this situation. I'll remove it again once the issue is no longer current.

At first, I mentioned there was no error message that I noticed.

When I tried again recently, I got a notice mentioning that my client is out of date.

I tried to reconnect a couple times with no success but it might be my version, do you know where I can find my client version number?

EDIT: I also got a message saying "Your version is slightly behind on the server's, though no problems should arise. "
EDIT #2: Thank you Jethalal, I found the version number (2.6.2.1)

EDIT FINAL: Ok, it's suddenly working now. Thanks for the help!
    :-)
