IIRC, all move, except false swipe at 1HP etc, would at least deal 1HP damage. I guess the (HP/Full HP)*150 for Eruption here is rounded down to 0, which could be a bug. (If applicable) Sources to confirm the presence of a bug (ex. Smogon): Needs testing.
It is possible to do 0 damage in Gen 5 when there are certain damage modifiers (e.g. Light Screen/Reflect, Multiscale, ...), because they are applied after the damage has been rounded up to 1. Proof Some sources say that it also works in Gen 6, other sources say that it doesn't work. Tests needed ! Do you have a complete battle log? If not, do you remember any moves/items that might have reduced the damage on your side?
As in the pic, a full HP Pdon OHKO my arceus at 90% iirc. No move to reduce damage used by me or anything. So yeah perhaps we need in game testing, as my title suggest :x
Ideally both I guess. Eruption's in-game damage rounding should be verified with regards to the reported bug, and confirmation for this would be nice.
eruption damage should round to 1 also the reflect thing doesnt seem to work ingame anymore, needs fix too
Submitted a fix. Now it is possible to deal 0 damage in Gen 5, but only with damage modifiers. In Gen 6 it now always rounds the damage up to 1 after calculation.
