I don't know if win/loss has been recorded up til now, but that would also be a nice stat. (I guess there would need to be one for "draw" as well, as I had my first one of those today.) I think it should only be kept for ranked matches. Maybe have the option to make it private.

The only stat currently kept by the server is the number of rated battles. And this was discussed before on the old forums... and disagreed.

The only use I can see in a win/loss record is for the client to save it for a particular team.

A win/loss record just encourages people to sign off when losing. This isn't NetBattle.

This is the first simulator that I've ever used, and I'm not trying to make it like any other sim out there (I know nothing about them anyway...). A win/loss record could be purely private and have no impact on anything. And doesn't the problem of signing off still apply to ratings, making it a problem with any kind of ladder system? People who quit mid match could just be given a loss, assuming the server can distinguish between a disconnect and a leave.

Well, the guy could always unplug his internet cable to make it look like a disconnect...

make a DC count as a loss, simple.

Disconnects are still losses on the ladder aren't they? Forfeit due to inability to continue is still forfeit.

Disconnects have always been automatic loss.

    This.

So what's the beef at this point? DC is a loss, make the record private so people don't care as much... Is this possible?

not a particularly useful statistic, but since quite a few people seem interested.. could be done at some point. But like many things, not a huge priority.

I would love to have a stat like this, tied to specific teams. I think it would be really useful, for the program to automatically record W/L, especially if you were trying out many teams (or slight variations of the same team). This statistic could of course be private, as stated above, and thus people wouldn't try to 'inflate' their record.

I agree, not a huge priority, but it is very satisfying and should be done at some point. lol saves everyone from writing it down in their notebooks lol guilty:o
