I'll do the prissy missy editing later on, if it is lucky enough to get approved. Also, since it is my first forum tour am applying for, I would absolutely love someone co host with me, currently I have none who have the time. The Rules: Teams of three people are to join on signups. The tiers played will be of ORAS OU/BW2 OU/ and a random tier every week(round). A player who has already done a match for either of the first two tiers can opt to play the third tier else the third player has to play the random tier. Every round, I will add no more than two tweaks in the tiers set. These are all teambuilding restriction (No Hazards, No Poison types, NO Stabs, Forcing the use of a certain mon, using less than 6 mons etc.) Thanks to MeowMix for this idea, I borrowed this from his big money tour. Also to makes matters easier for the upcoming random tiers and to make it less random, during signups I would like the players to also point out the tiers they otherwise are good in. Signups last a week. Winning team gets a coloured usertitle.(?) Subject to change. All the battles will follow standard clauses unless specified and are BO1 until the end. Players are recommended to post replays after their battles to resolve any issues if it happens so. Feel free to suggest changes, I am happy to do so!
Too many rules imo. "A player who has already done a match for either of the first two tiers can opt to play the third tier else the third player has to play the random tier." Why? "Every round, I will add no more than two tweaks in the tiers set. These are all teambuilding restriction (No Hazards, No Poison types, NO Stabs, Forcing the use of a certain mon, using less than 6 mons etc.)" Why? A 3-man tour, or a tour with a random tier, or a tour with random teambuilding restrictions would be fine, but together they make explaining the rules difficult, arbitrary, and unneededly complex
Sorry about that, I have a habit of over complicating things trying to add variety. I can nix the first rule- "A player who has already done a match for either of the first two tiers can opt to play the third tier else the third player has to play the random tier." Also coming to the teambuilding restrictions... will it be ok if I keep it limited to just one tier per round? I'd still like to keep the one random tier per round idea.
