10% chance Ice has been hitting me hard a lot today. Tonico would've frozen me five times if it weren't for freeze clause (Ice Beam). In an Uber battle, a Metagross froze me both times with an Ice Punch.

The descriptions probably just haven't been finished yet.
I have had drops/raises with all of those moves atleast once on the beta server. It is just an error when the move descriptions were copied over from whatever site it was
I'm not sure if it's a bug with the server, but I got a 7-link Protect and 2 6-link Protects within 3 battles. I haven't gotten more than 3 since, though, which is why I'm wondering if I was just stupid lucky there.
Coyotte, please take a look on the critical hit rate, in these last days i'm playing shoddybattle too and there have a really lower rate of critical hits...
You can manually check also under server>db>moves>the generation>critrate.txt . That only gives its relation to other moves though.

A small amount of data points does not accurately represent the RNG and its values. The reason as to why we keep saying that the RNG is not broken is that in a test with a much larger amount of data points, the figures are actually extremely close to what they should be. An extremely large test is about as good as we can do when it comes to figuring out how accurate the RNG is, and we've done plenty. Unless someone can prove hands down that there is a problem (running a test similar to the ones I have already run would be a better measure of the RNG than a 11 turn singles battle), the RNG will not be changed at all.
Well, i play pokemon in-game and in simulators (netbattle/ shoddy) for like 6 years, since the change from g/s/c to r/s/e. In all this years, i never see 3 critical hits in a row. If you've been playing that long, you'll have had far more than four thousand turns of attacking. This kind of event happens once every four thousand turns (significantly less when you note that both players could be attacking). Have proper sampling or perhaps get an event which is ridiculously unlikely by chance alone, rather than merely improbable. With almost a million battles a month on PO main it's going to happen to a lot of people. Really not all that strange.
maybe the RNG should just be programmed to attempt to even itself out within the regular length of a battle, say 120 turns max.... just sayin, cause i've never seen a battle over 500 turns...let alone 130ish
I don't know much about RNGs, but from what I've seen described on here it works to balance itself out eventually, thats just my understanding of it. Either way, it should be tested in a mass quantity of battles, not a mass quantity of turns, to reflect how well it works within the average rate of a battle, over many battles
Yeah, it's just statistics. If we takes samples from some distribution, and the distribution has some expectation value, the mean of those samples will be very close to expectation value after taking a large number of samples. (Law of large numbers)
If you ever play ingame with flinching move you will see that you can keep flinching for 4-5 turns easily with just bite, that you can keep hitting focus blast and that kind of stuff. Ingame hax is nothing less.

So what. You had 3 "no love" and 6 "love". So you had 6/9 "heads" at a game of heads & tails, it's really not ridiculous.
Ok, let's talk about what I was saying here . http://pokemon-online.eu/forums/showthread.php?6797-Need-the-real-RNG-please I totaly agree with Darkon about hax. Your calcul/test are cool but what it represents? It represents the pourcentages for one Pokémon using the same attack against one other same Pokémon and the result seems to be in adéquation. But and most of the players says it there is still more haxx than the real game. The problem is that the average of haxx is really not the same during a match in which you can find different Pokémon and move than in your test. I don't know how to explain it. I did ladder all day long yesteraday and that was unbelieveble one more time. The informaticien who made PO said it that the RNG is different but we don't know more. I don't want to blame PO but I want to play "Pokémon" and not a bad version with too much haxx and does not represent the real simulator of the game. I agree, I can't prove seeing your stats that there is more haxx but just take a loook to some game log, no ALL game log and you will see there is a problem. Someone which is very good in Informatik would like to take a look to the PO code in order to see where is the problem. If your are not convince of what I am saying about hax, just ask about it to real players. I can " invite " many contacts from Smogon or French time in order to talk about it. Hax is more important on PO it is a fact, there is a problem somewhere in the code and we just want to repear it. (sorry for my English btw ^^' ) If you want some log like this one, we can send you a lot...: Spoiler Le combat entre celebi_vor et kikoonoob a commencé!
