I am back with a new RMT, this time i wont be posting a team which has been a weapon or unbeaten or something too powerful. I decided to post this stall because it consists of pokemon that are a bit undervalued plus some standard fillers as Primal Groudon or Lugia. So lets get it going. Team in a glance: I was playing around one day talking with @Dark San about building a team which would try to cover all threats in the Oras Ubers metagame, so i came up with this one. As every team it has some flaws,so lets see it in depth. Team in depth: Diancie @ Diancite Trait: Clear Body EVs: 248 HP / 56 SAtk / 204 Spd Modest Nature - Protect - Heal Bell - Moonblast - Diamond Storm So this is my usual lead, with protect to secure the mega evolution and two strong stab moves. I gave it heal bell so i can have a fast cleric in case i need it against stall teams while at the same time Diancie has this amazing magic bounce ability.Beware tho, it defense is really low after the mega evolution so it has to be used carefully. Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb Trait: Drought EVs: 248 HP / 252 SDef Careful Nature - Stealth Rock - Toxic - Precipice Blades - Rest Primal Groudon! One of the most used mons in the tier, i prefer the rest set as it fits perfect in stall. It is my rock setter, while at the same time hits hard with preciple blades. I have toxic for any switch ins or for Lugias who can 1v1 beat groudon. It is really helpful and it can be used in many ways. Lugia @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 248 HP / 124 Def / 136 Spd Bold Nature - Toxic - Roost - Whirlwind - Ice Beam One of the best walls in the meta. It can take out Primal Groudon , Mega Salamence , Rayquaza. It has enough speed to outspeed the mega don and poison it, while icebeam 1hkos Ray. It has whirlwind for setup mons like the above mentioned. Lugias role in this team is thin, and you should not let it get weak cause if this one is down, there is a potential for the opponent to sweep. Tyranitar (M) @ Shuca Berry Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP / 12 Atk / 96 Def / 148 SDef Careful Nature - Rest - Sleep Talk - Stone Edge - Pursuit Tyranitar is kinda underrated but it has a clear role in this team. It is the answer to three mons that are pretty common in the tier, while two of them being really good against stall. The names are: Ho Oh | Darkrai | Yveltal . It can deal easily with the first two, while also winning against most yveltals sets. (some of them may carry focus miss) Shuca berry is there for the eq on ho ohs, Leftovers could be considered too on this set but i think i will go with the berry. One last and really important role of Ttar is to Pursuit the Mega Gengars who are being a pain for most of the stall teams! Amoonguss (M) @ Assault Vest Trait: Regenerator EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef Calm Nature - Clear Smog - Grass Knot - Foul Play - Sludge Bomb Say hello to another stange mon of this team. It can counter Xerneas (well some weirdos might still run psyshock) while at the same time it can deal with Primal Kyogre effectively. It has foul play which can catch out of guard many physical mons who try to set up, while at the same time, grass knot deals decent damage. Arceus-Ghost @ Spooky Plate Trait: Multitype EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Will-O-Wisp - Defog - Recover - Judgment Last but not least, and one of the reasons i decided to build this stall, is the support Ghostceus. It can deal with e-killer if not being extremely unlucky, while at the same time ensuring a bulky defog. The role that this arceus has is pretty clear, while it has judgment to deal some damage around. Importable: Spoiler: Importable Diancie @ Diancite Trait: Clear Body EVs: 248 HP / 56 SAtk / 204 Spd Modest Nature - Protect - Heal Bell - Moonblast - Diamond Storm Groudon @ Red Orb Trait: Drought EVs: 248 HP / 252 SDef Careful Nature - Stealth Rock - Thunder Wave - Precipice Blades - Rest Lugia @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 248 HP / 124 Def / 136 Spd Bold Nature - Toxic - Roost - Whirlwind - Ice Beam Tyranitar (M) @ Shuca Berry Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP / 12 Atk / 96 Def / 148 SDef Sassy Nature - Rest - Sleep Talk - Stone Edge - Pursuit Arceus-Ghost @ Spooky Plate Trait: Multitype EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Will-O-Wisp - Defog - Recover - Judgment Amoonguss (M) @ Assault Vest Trait: Regenerator EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef Calm Nature - Clear Smog - Grass Knot - Foul Play - Sludge Bomb Shoutouts: *Only for uber frens i cant tag all :[ * Spoiler: Shoutouts for Ubers fam @La.Melle2402 - My Ubers pal @Lacus Clyne - Ubers princess @Poke Expert - Ubers frenn @Elize Lutus , @TraceofLife - been helpful with this tier :) * I want to give a big shoutout to Executive Archer or Trout or Outrage or whatever. This guy is a real talent in Ubers and my teacher. I am really looking forward for Pokemon Online authorities to give an end to his ban, while the ubers subforum at least, is going to benefit from it. * Well that was it. I hope you liked that team and my attemp to make something kinda different.I know it is not perfect but it did decent on ladder or with testings, so i think you could give it a try. I am looking forward to your feedback!
Hi there, excellent team and thanks for sharing! You are quite an experienced ubers player yourself so you probably know the strength and weaknesses of this team already; however I did notice the team being /slightly/ weak to LO Focus Blast Yveltal since you mentioned tyranitar is your main yveltal counter, so maybe Chople berry>Shuca berry to alleviate that problem? You still have Diancie for Yveltal so it's not that big of a deal I guess. Looking forward to see more of your RMTs in future!
@Draciel The chople berry was one of my thoughts, but that would make ttar weak to EQ Ho Oh, and band eq hits hard. Banded Ho Oh is seen more often so i picked the shuca, but this is a 50-50 situation. Thanks for your kind words :) @Brendan taylor my old stall was a beast :P this is more of a "fun" team which happens to work!
