Sup guys, idk why I'm doing the rmt, I guess I feel like it. Seriously though, this is one of the few current gen teams I've created over the years that isn't complete ass, however my interest in gen 6 tiers has diminished (with the exception of I guess Pokemon Perfect's tiers). Consequently, I don't really feel much of a desire to hold on to this team. I haven't really done anything notable with this team, it's just one that I enjoy using and I think it might not be completely terrible like a lot of my other gen 6 teams.

    Teambuilding process
I don't remember the whole teambuilding process- what I do remember is that I wanted to use an offensive electric type- so I decided on NP Thundurus
    [IMG]
I then literally looked at the type chart and decided LO Mamoswine would make a great partner, hitting ground and electric types super effectively
    [IMG] [IMG]
From there I have no fucking clue how I came to create my team, but it looks a little something like this
[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] [IMG][IMG] ffs keldeo y u no gif? Also wtf happened to thundurus? lol

    So! Onto the team!

    Thundurus (M) @ Charti Berry
    Trait: Defiant
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    IVs: 30 HP / 30 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SAtk / 30 SDef
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Nasty Plot
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hidden Power [Flying]
    - Focus Blast

Pretty simple NP set, sweeps, wallbreaks, whatever. Half the time I don't even bother setting up because usually I tend to just need something Tbolted. HP Flying and Focus Blast for coverage. HP Flying is notable because it's not HP Ice- I wanted to hit Venu and Amoonguss and shit like that and figured boosted HP Flying would be adequate for most grounds. However this just isn't the case, shit like Chomp and Lando-T are freaking everywhere man, so I should probably change this. Charti Berry was chosen because I decided LO's power wasn't worth the extra damage, Thund is immune to the only status it cares about, and I just like type resist berries. It screws over things like Scarf TTar and Exca, but you could change it I guess. Defiant was chosen because I decided Prankster simply wasn't that useful on a NP set and I figured I could bluff a mixed attacker to mess with opps (number of times this has happened: zero).

    Mamoswine (F) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 240 Atk / 16 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Shard
    - Icicle Crash
    - Freeze-Dry

Standard ass LO Mamo. Its job is simply to come in and dish out lots of damage. Has difficulty switching in, but once it's in it usually puts in decent work unless the opponent has Skarm or a really bulky water or something (did someone say Thundurus?!). The only thing worth noting is that I chose Freeze Dry because I hate Rotom's guts, and also I guess Gyara's a threat to this team.

    Jirachi @ Leftovers
    Trait: Serene Grace
    EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 108 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Thunder Wave
    - U-turn
    - Iron Head

Jirachi's job is to be a general pivot and nuisance. It doesn't really have much of an offensive presence, but it's a really good supporter, with its plethora of resistances, good bulk and access to SR/Twave/U-turn. EVs are a bit kooky and I have no idea why I chose that spread... ...ok it looks like I chose to outrun all base 70 pokemon (I guess Bisharp is notable here?), max attack and stick the rest in bulk. Well then. Anyway, this set is completely boned by MSab, so you could consider changing one of Rachi's moves to one that spreads status as a secondary to get status on MSab (Thunder???). Or even if you're desperate run Moonblast.

    Keldeo-R @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Justified
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    IVs: 30 HP / 30 Def
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Hydro Pump
    - Scald
    - Secret Sword
    - Hidden Power [Ice]

I decided my team needed Keldeo because of its nifty Dark/Rock/Bug/Steel/Fire resistances, a lot of them not being found elsewhere on the team. I decided I needed it to be scarf because with the only other source of revenge killing on my team being Mamo's Ice Shard I was dangerously weak to opposing sweepers, particularly DDers. Keldeo outspeeds pretty much everything with a Scarf has good power and basically ticks all the boxes (Keldeo is a favourite of mine in gen 6 OU). Could probably change HP Ice to Icy Wind, but I'm honestly not sure it even matters that much.

    Serperior (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Contrary
    EVs: 8 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 244 Spd
    IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Leaf Storm
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Glare
    - Dragon Pulse

Fuck I love Serperior. I don't really remember why I decided I needed Serp on the team but it works so well. Fucks up Rotom, which is always nice and lures in a paralyses/mauls dragons (Thundurus) and fire types (Gengar appreciates this, especially when Heatran's about). Attacks chosen get overall pretty good coverage, Glare is the real crux of the set though, Serp is just an amazing para spreader and the best partner ever for WispHex Gengar

    Gengar (F) @ Black Sludge
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Substitute
    - Hex
    - Sludge Bomb

Oml I love WispHex Gengar. Poses a lot of trouble for opponents as it is effective at both damaging the enemy and spreading burns. It's also probably my team's best bet against opposing grass types, since nothing else resists them and is effective in dealing with them. One thorn in Gengar's side is fire types, which are immune to Wisp and hence awkward for Gengar to deal with without boosted Hex. Thankfully I've got a grass type on my team that is excellent at luring and paralysing pesky fire types such as Heatran.

    Weaknesses:
Talonflame- my only fire res is Keldeo... yeah, that's going to end well. Similarly my only BB resists are Rachi (lol) and Thundurus. Honestly, it's just a matter of keeping rocks up and playing around it, in order to bring Thund in. I haven't totally been destroyed by it yet, so that's something
Probably like a billion other things but w/e

    Final Thoughts
I started this team around Thund-Mamo, but honestly I've found that Gengar-Serperior is just such a good combo that they've become by far my favourite parts of the team. Anyway, I'm not sure what I was intending to get out of this, I just felt like posting it, so here you go, enjoy feel free to tear it to pieces or w/e

    Gengar (F) @ Black Sludge

    - Substitute
    - Hex
    - Sludge Bomb

Yea serp and hexgar is a tried and tested core which is v nice to kill balance with. How do u play vs offense and goth stall with this team? I find both an almost unwinnable matchup, scarf keld is one of the weaker rkers in the meta and this weakness is further compounded by the fact that its counters ( think latis/celebi/amoon etc) all have reliable recovery so u have basically 0 chance of winning vs offense cuz u cant open a window for keld to clean up. Talon/opposing electrics/opposing keld/sand p much shit on ur team p hard too.

Not sure what ur counterplay for stall is either when u p much auto lose to chansey+amoon+goth alone. Goth tricks scarf to thundurus and u p much lose right there. U can try to get lucky and fish for sludge bomb poison vs sdef msableye so u can break through with hex but if ur opp is intelligent and goes to chansey to heal bell u p much lose too.

Not an easy team to fix but ur best bet would probably be scarf mamo+specs keld. Ur team beats scarf mamo counters p hard, i.e. slowbro rotomw skarm p much can't come in on anything bar mamo itself and becomes easy to pressure. I'll run icicle spear/eq/ice shard/superpower for mamo and hpump/scald/ssword/focus blast for keld. Focus blast does 90ish % to bulky waters like rotomw and mana which p much invalidates their position to do anything vs ur team. I think scarf mamo is a lot better for ur team compared to the likes of landt and chomper cuz ur team lacks hazard removal so killing opp landt/sash chomp from turn 1 w/ icicle spear would alleviate the pressure which opp sr would do to ur team. Scarf mamo imo is a much better electric check to mmanectric/raik cuz its not weak to HP ice so it can switch in without fear and keep up with the momentum. It still maintains its rk role and outruns mlop/mmane/tornt etc so its not exactly the slowest thing in the world.

Next to give ur team a better matchup for both offense and stall I'll run a fast heatran over jirachi. Heatran at least pressures msableye w/ Sr unlike rachi which is cm set up bait. Furthermore heatran gives ur team a more solid bird check esp for talon while still maintaining the fairy check. Sure u now lose a hard switch in for mgarde and mdiancie but the rest of ur team outpaces and kills them regardless so they aren't too huge of a threat to begin with.

I don't exactly see the point of charti berry on thund. The point of running charti is to give exca and landt a false sense of security. I think ur team does fine vs mvenu comps; gar+serp already puts immense pressure on balance builds and gar is one of the better mvenu coubtere. I think hp ice would make more sense to lure landt but to be fair ur team doesn't exactly need landt to be lured out since ur not running a sweeper that requires landt gone, think luc for example.

Finally to improve ur matchup vs stall and to stop chansey from shitting on gar ill run taunt over sub so chansey loses to PP stall and can't heal bell msableye, forcing the stall player into a v bad position which is v hard to play himself out of.

Its a decent team, I like miracle seed on serp but that's up to personal preference I guess. It's refreshing to see underrated mons like mamo and np thund for a change to shit on offense and balance respectively. Team admittedly looks a ton more threatening with the fixes and I def don't want to play vs such a team no matter the matchup.
