You need to attain a minimum of seven badges to make it to the Elite Four stage. You are allowed eight losses against gym leaders. In case this is confusing, your ninth loss means that you are out while you are still eligible for the elite four after your ninth loss. You may challenge a gym once every five days - this holds true for every individual gym, not leader. For example, you can challenge one CC leader on Monday and then you cannot challenge any CC leader for another five days. On the contrary, if you challenge the CC gym on Monday and lose, you can still challenge any other gym immediately afterwards barring other circumstances. Gym Leaders may also challenge other Gyms - they automatically get their own badge, and only need to earn six more to be eligible to challenge the Elite 4. However, they have one less loss in exchange (so they can only lose seven times and their eighth loss is the end of the road). Elite four members have to challenge gyms like a normal challenger, but if they reach the elite four then they already have their own Elite four beaten. The League season will be approximately two months long. All badges earned by everyone will be reset one week before the beginning of the following season. Elite 4 Stage: A challenger who has acquired the necessary amount of badges during the regular season has until one week before the beginning of the next season (the moment your badges get reset) to complete their Elite 4 challenge. Failing to complete your challenge, or losing to an Elite 4 member twice means your challenge is over and you must wait until next season to try again. Elite 4 members may also challenge the other Elite 4 members, if they reach the required number of badges. Any person who has defeated the Elite 4 may challenge the Champion. They have until one week before the start of the next season to do this. Any questions should be asked to me via Forum/Server PM. Future amendments to these rules will be made in new posts and edited into this OP. Prospective league start date is November 15th. EDIT: All the gym leaders are requested to autojoin #PO League channel on the server, just for everyone's convenience.
PO League is now OPEN! All challengers must document their gym challenges in the Challenge Log thread. When challenging, it's obligatory to post the link to the gym record post, otherwise you are not eligible to challenge!
The /league command should be working now thanks to @sulcata ; so challengers can just type /league on server to check which Gym leader is online at that moment!
Some changes due to unforeseen circumstances: @bugzinator will replace Artemisa as Elite Four @TraceofLife will be taking over the LC gym @willdbeast will be the new Hackmons gym leader The OP will be updated accordingly.
The current league season has ended, thanks everyone who took part in the league :) Congratulations to @Troller for defeating the Elite 4! See you all again next season.
