Hello friends! This Joy a.k.a Ragnarok with a Monotype team for you to see, rate, and use!
It has been some time since a Monotype team has been shared for an RMT, and I only recently made this team and found it really useful for the current metagame and yes it contains a gem of a pokemon, call it a double edged sword maybe? Yeah since it is a Psychic team, It is obviously the newly released Hoopa-B!

    INTRODUCTION
This team is well a MonoPsycho team built around Hoopa-B, and it aims to almost reduce the weaknesses Psychic teams usually fall badly with... That would be Bug (UH HOW I WAS CTEAMED ON THE LADDER!!), Steel and to an extent Ghost and Dark.
Coming to the naming and otherwise the theme of the team, I got the idea of naming all my teammates with terms from Final Fantasy (Final Fantasy VI to be exact) so without further ado let us start!

    TEAM AT A GLANCE
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Ultima (Hoopa-B) @ Assault Vest
    Trait: Magician
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Calm Nature
    - Hyperspace Fury
    - Thunderbolt
    - Psyshock
    - Energy Ball
Here is the star of the show, Ultima is the reason, I have not yet lost to MonoWater.
Hyperspace Fury is like dabess stab to have on it as it takes care of Psychic and Ghost types which it can take really pretty well if they are specially inclined. Calm nature with a mere 4 EVs combined with Assault Vest gives it a whopping 489 Special Defense which is really cool.
Psyshock pawns the guy who would otherwise resist dark types like fighting types and aside from that it is very good STAB to run at times you don't wanna risk the defense drop that Fury comes with.
Energy Ball and Thunderbolt are there to slowly get them water types and flying types out there (bar Lando-T and his nasty U-Turn sigh....) Also thunderbolt is really good coverage as it can neutrally hit steel which is a plus.
The name Ultima comes from the strongest magic move from the FF games. This single move hits through any protection (Coincidence? Nope!!) and always does maxed out damage and it was only fitting that I give this name to the strongest special attacker and star of my team.
This guy can run Drain Punch or Fire Punch as coverage. Drain Punch really helps in getting in some lost HP and Fire Punch for stupid bugs. However since other members of this team handle bugs for Ultima it is not binding, also do note that this team was made via Android and that 0 IVs in attack is always recommended.

    RagingFist (Medicham) (M) @ Medichamite
    Trait: Pure Power
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature
    - Fire Punch
    - Fake Out
    - Drain Punch
    - Zen Headbutt

RagingFist here is my choice for a mega who replaces Mega Gallade for that coveted spot. Yeah Gallade-M might have that 110 speed tier and that thing you call Close Combat but Medicham has Fake Out which is necessary for taking out sash leads especially sash Galvantula and it has Pure Power which pawns stuff that Gallade-M cannot pawn without a Swords Dance. Running Jolly is good for as it will be able to outspeed lots of stuff due to its 328 speed however if you like a much more hard hitting pokemon than Adamant will do better. Fire Punch is a must on MonoPsychic Medicham imo as it takes care of both bugs and steels and drain punch is there to further wreck steel (and four other types lol) and replenish its helps so that it can keep going in the long run.
RagingFist. Raging Fist is the initial Blitz move learnt by the character Sabin in FFVI, that guy hits like a truck so yeah another mon named perfectly!

    Ifrit (Victini) @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Victory Star
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    - Bolt Strike
    - V-create
    - Trick
    - U-turn
Ifrit here is the revenge killer for the team and the next dude on the list given the task to pulverise steels and bugs!!! Scarf set is pretty standard and self explanatory and Trick works really in breaking setup stalls and forces walls out most of the time.
Ifrit is one of the first espers you meet in the game, and whoop does it dish out an OP Fire move!!! So that is totally what our Tini does with V CREATE!!!

Valigarmanda (Latios) (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature
    - Draco Meteor
    - Ice Beam
    - Defog
    - Psyshock
Another pretty self explanatory teammate is my Latios. He is the defogger of my team and then again he is a seconda... nay he is another special sweeper in my team. Ice Beam in my arsenal completes the BoltBeamThrower combo I like having around in my teams most of the time and to hit all the massively common pokes who have 4x weakness to it, and Draco Meteor is to go all galactic over stupidly specially weak pokemon and pew pew over other pokemon cuz fun af.
Psyshock is like the obligatory STAB that says nada to otherwise specially defensive pokemon.
Valigarmanda is the celestial bird like espeer that is a bountiful of magic and its summon move- Tri Disaster is the combo of Thunder-Blizzard-Fire(BoltBeamThrower ya dig?) and as Latios is like the last dude in the BoltBeamThrower Triad (Yeah imma call them that) He got the name. Fitting.
It does not hurt running Thunderbolt over Ice Beam or even Psyshock at times but DO NOT REMOVE DEFOG ever, it will lose its pivotal role lol

Bismarck (Slowbro) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
    Trait: Regenerator
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
    Bold Nature
    - Fire Blast
    - Scald
    - Thunder Wave
    - Slack Off

Bismarck is the physical tank and annoyer of the team, Twave makes Ultima outspeed stuff and KO them away. Scald and the burn it provides makes it all that spammable and fun. Fire Blast is for, yes steels again and it helps is surviving 1 on 1 with Ferro. Since it has both Slack Off and Regen, rocky helm helps in countering stuff like Talonflame (moment of silence for those who think how OP it is) and even MegaGross without the Grass Knotty Knotted Knot!
Bismarck is a water esper that whooshes out opponents with a huge stream of bubbles. That is water based so this fitted well. DO NOT MISTAKE BRO FOR THE HISTORIC BISMARCK.
Replacing Twave for Psyshock or Ice Beam and replacing Fire Blast for flamethrower works nice too. 0 IVs on attack is a must. 248 hp 248 def 8 speed Slowbro. investing this speed allows you to outspeed other slowbro and heal up faster if necessary, 248 hp to lose less hp from SR.. try this. Suggested by @Carlmurray

    Midgardsormr (Bronzong) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef
    Sassy Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Gyro Ball
    - Stealth Rock
    - Toxic
Midgardsormr is the Special Wall and the rock setter of the team, and wow it even has toxic!
This set is pretty self-explanatory and you know what stuff it can switch in and what it cannot switch into. Gyro Ball is a good STAB and punishes pretty much the entire fairy monotype so it is pretty much my MonoFairy check too.
Midgardsormr is an Serpent like esper capable of summon the power of the earth so why use it on a bell? Cuz earth is life, life is fairy and fairy is checked by him!
HP Ice over makes it useful in countering ground types who do not have Knock Off on them. This idea was suggested to me by @LittleRoot

    Threatlist
Bisharp- +2 on this guy and it pretty much KOs the entire team.
Sub DD Mega Gyara-Especially this set, Sub will shut down all the effects of the status moves I play and unless I am able to pull off a good one with Scarfini then RIP.
The Entire Bug Mono- Yeah you stumble on one point, then it goes down, down and down....

MegaGross- Gets troublesome at times really....
Scarf Chandelure- Noticed this yesterday and now confirmed by @gengar17 . Be wary from this guy it can switch into your V-Create and sweep without remorse.
Scarf Hydreigon- Another threat suggested to me by @gengar17 . This is able to do the same thing on a larger scale and U-Turn takes a sizable amount of damage away from Ultima.

    Team Importable
    Hoopa-B @ Assault Vest
    Trait: Magician
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Calm Nature
    - Hyperspace Fury

    - Gyro Ball
    - Stealth Rock
    - Toxic

    Previous Teammates
24/7/15- If I had only added this earlier. A certain someone wouldn't have made a sarcastic remark on "copy pasting" his team.
Mega Gallade- He is always my first choice of a Mega in MonoPsychic, even though some people say MegaGross or MegaVoir is a better choice, I always choose Mega Gallade over them because of personal preference. But problem was Mega Gallade needed Swords Dance which would otherwise waste me and that certain phazers always poses a threat to him. So I thought better.
Latias- I wanted the sister in my team before because it had access to both Healing Wish and Defog but the LO Form of this pokémon is kinda meh IMO and it doesn't hit better than her bro's set so there he was.
Claydol- I had a dumb rest talk Claydol in an old team way before.... Now I thought of adding the doll to set rocks and also spin. Tactic failed.

    Shoutouts-
@Haze Victory - Brother you are the reason, the hope, the confidence that lemme do the RMT. If you had not changed my style of teambuilding, then I would have never peaked rank 5 on Monotype ladder.
@Sam Holmes - Hey bro, stop losing in Mono! Always having fun playing against you. Tspikes ftw.
@Jethalal - Hey friend! Talk a bit more on WhatsApp and play more monotype!.
All the members of Monotype Discussion- As the owner of MD, I had to do this once. And just hoping you all guys shine now or later.

    You flatter me,haha.
BTW,cool team you got there.I don't play monotype all that often but Tbolt and Energy ball both on the same set seem to accomplish the same task.I may be wrong but Fire punch could be more beneficial maybe?
Anyway,I might build my own monotype in some time so will catch you up on the ladder soon.Gl ^_^.

Er, I have many stuff to say:

-Calm nature Hoopa is bad, because Hyperspace is a physical move. I'ld suggest running Hasty
-Jolly Victini is in my opinion a way better option than Adamant, to outspeed/tie with 100 scarfers ( such as Lando, other victinis)
    - 29 ivs hp for Latios, i know nobody does that nowadays, but it allows it reach 299 hp, that way you lose 1 hp less every LO hit.
    - 248 hp 248 def 8 speed Slowbro. investing this speed allows you to outspeed other slowbro and heal up faster if necessary, 248 hp to lose less hp from SR
-I'm fine having Bronzong in Monopsy ( even though I don't understand EQ utility for you) but you can mix more your spread to not being weak to 2 knock off not stabbed ( ie Landorus scarf )

Overall suggestion: I dislike AV Hoopa, I prefer by far a Sub Focus Punch Hyperspace Gunk shot set with lefties/Life Orb and would also recommand an AV Meloetta so you can wall all ghost attacks, maybe it is me, but I find Gardevoir a better mega choice so you can spam hyper voice against Monodark and fighting.

Other than that nothing, hope I helped, was about to build a Monodark around Hoopa :)

I'm not sure if it's a bug coz my damage calculator shows Fury to be a physical move as well. It is a special move on the simultator however.

As for Latios, just not having an HP divisible by 10 allows him to survive 10 life orb recoils. His HP is 301 as it is.

Hyperspace fury is physical, and it should be fixed in the next restart. I said 29 ivs so you reach 299 and lose everytime 29 hp instead of 30

im flattered that u basically copy pasted my team and slapped on a hoopa instead of gardevoir, other than that u only changed 3 moves.
edit: i just noticed that u successfully put my sets in the "tips"
anyway, since this is mainly my team ill fix ur threatlist:
victini takes care of all bugs, the only bug threat is some random sash sd scolipede, and scarf hera after webs, so removing webs is a must.
    bisharp is a threat always
    scarf chandelure/scarf hydreigon are threats
mega gross is literally not a threat at all because of bro + zong
and u should worry more about mega gyara subbing on -1 bronzong

Um yeah thanks for the update on the threat list. Yeah point that it looks like your team but even if it may look like your team it isn't lel! Please do note that I do not know all your sets BTW. Sigh.
Edit: Made Zong Sassy cuz gives a stronger Gyro Ball
