For quite some time i have been searching for the Pokémon figures i had as a child, the ones that came in Pokéballs together with some candy (not the "chupa surprise" Pokéballs). I searched for Pokémon figures on ebay but it soon hit me that there was a difference between the Takara Tomy figures that was sold in Japan and the US, and the ones that i had purchased home in Norway when i was little. After a couple weeks of research i finally found out that there was indeed a difference between the figure types and the ones sold in Europe was simply called "European candy figures". But even though i knew the name of the figures they were still hard to find. Ebay could still not help me and google too did not seem to be flooded with results (which makes me as a "collector" both frustrated and fired up in excitement). Only thing i could find was a few pictures and a couple of threads from collectors that had tons of Pokéstuff, including the EU candy figures. Ever since i found out about the EU figures i have been searching for what companies that created them. Underneath the tail of the my Charmander, the 1 EU candy figure that i own, it says "made in China" which pretty much states a clear message. It also says "M&O" or something like it (the writing has worn off a little with the years). Could that be the company that made him? I have been searching my brains out and still can´t seem to be able to dig out that blasted super- secret company from this worlds knowledge- supply (Google) so if you have ANY information on the matter i would be grateful if you´d be so kind and share :)
