Remaking /help

    Anyone else think we could rewrite some of the text in /help?
    When you type this command at #Mafia, it tells you about 3 other commands, each giving different information:

    /help hints:
    (18:28:19) *** *********************************************************************** ***
    (18:28:19) ±Hint: When you are mafia if your teammate is guaranteed to be voted out you are allowed to vote them so you don't look suspicious.
    (18:28:19) ±Hint: In general if you are the inspector it is a good idea to claim so that you can be protected. [This changes too much according to theme]
    (18:28:19) ±Hint: When you find your teammates it is a good idea to PM them so you remember who they are and so you can talk strategy.
    (18:28:19) ±Hint: Don't claim as a villager because it exposes the Power Roles.
    (18:28:19) ±Hint: Don't stay to quiet because the people who are silent tend to be voted out a lot.
    (18:28:19) ±Hint: A rand is when someone choses who to vote/kill randomly with no real logic behind it. [How is this a hint?]

    There are lots of other entries I have complaints about, but I marked the ones that I find the most pointless. Overall, I think /help is hardly helpful at all for new players, there are too many information that only coders care about (curse/copy) and other kinds of bloated info. The entries on /help hints are also too vague or too random.

    I would find it more useful if /help hints mentioned the /tips command and gave less "Do X/Don't do X" type of hints and more "You can try X or Y".
    /help roles and /help commands could use some grouping for similar actions (e.g.: Stalk + Watch, Protect + Safeguard + Guard + Shield, etc).

    Sure, sounds like a good project. I'll get started with some possible revisions, but I'd like feedback and ideas for more useful expansion. (Can't we just put the link to your beginners' guide in the /help and call it a day?)

    /help hints:

    (18:28:19) ±Hint: Don't claim as a villager because it exposes the Power Roles. Sometimes meatshielding is a better strategy.

    /help roles: Basically just needs to remove the ones that aren't used in any themes. Negative voters and Masons are more important than a few of those.

    I am in favour of Miki's idea of /help hints, I can't really think of anything else to add that doesn't become too subjective. Just adding an explicit part about the /tips command would be great, so Hint: Each theme has a /tips section that can assist you in the gameplay! or something along those lines

    Curser should be removed entirely since it usually falls either under Converter or just simply not used at all
    Safeguarder should be merged w/ BG given special circumstances, as Rice stated
    I feel as though Converter is too broad as well, but creating individual roles to reflect the different kinds is a bit much as well so not too sure what to do there
    Including bits of Watch/Stalk being similar is a great idea

    More ideas would be helpful though!
