I didn't notice it to be honest. That U-Turn, that hit and didn't switch, may had effected it since it supposed to be a switching move. Unless Rest is allowed to bypass Heal Block. :o
I hadn't noticed the U-Turn actually, maybe that affected it. Cause it was your last pokemon it may have removed the Heal Block without switching out.
Effect: For five turns, or until the target switches out, the target can't use Heal Order, Milk Drink, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Recover, Rest, Roost, Slack Off, Softboiled, Swallow, Synthesis, Wish, or any HP-draining attack; the target's Volt Absorb and Water Absorb are ignored, and Dry Skin only grants an immunity to Water moves; the target cannot be healed by any item, or another Pokémon's Heal Pulse. Until the target switches out, which it did with u-turn, so everything is good

Oh, since it was the last pokemon, it couldn't switch, thus it should indeed be heal blocked. I think the matters comes from the coding, like they could have coded that uturn and volt switch just make it end. We could try adding an exception for both these attacks ( needs testing for baton pass but I think it does pass the heal block) and make 2 different situations: - If you do have other teamates, it ends the heal block - If you're the last, it still works I'm quite sure that's how it works but we could still make tests
Nope. Its an effect stored in pokeMem, which is cleared when the next pokemon is sent in. Since no pokemon was sent in, it would not be cleared. The reason it is failing is that it is checking the move you used, excluding special conditions. Since Metronome was the last move used, it is not affected by Heal Block itself and therefore executes properly. Essentially, gotta change the static void mp in Heal Block to use the move called by Metronome.
I guess that makes sense, the moves used by metronome are not really considered as the one used, and heal block doesn't affect Metronome
Can someone test to see if Assist, Metronome, Mirror Move, Sleep Talk, etc. can call healing moves under the effect of Heal Block? Well, a few minor tweaks to my proposed code and it will mechanically work... but it keeps saying the move used was "Heal Pulse" Frustrating, to say the least.
