I thought about how to do this post quite a bit. Part of me wanted to make it along the lines of a roast and just torch everyone who seems to be vying for the title of Ultimate Asshole. Another part of me wanted to be 100% friendly and just give everyone a bunch of shoutouts. Then, I eventually reached this conclusion after reading a post that @diamondslight of all people made, and it reads as such. Well buddy, I might not be official but I'm giving you the start of a new round. Before I begin, I must point this out. There are a few of you on the server that try to say I'm being an attention whore by sharing what's going on in my personal life, and that no one cares. To you people, which I'll be mature enough to not tag, I say that it's because I believe true connections, friends or otherwise, can only be established by sharing real life information. Seems logical, right? I would hope so. Now, onto the actual PO profile/well. I started playing Pokemon when I was about eight years old, and of course back then I was a total noob. My first game was a copy of Pokemon Emerald that I accidentally stole from my friend Stevie (he fell asleep in the car and I didn't want to wake him up and stuff, so I kind of kept it, restarted the game, and my curiosity about the series only grew as a result. When my mom finally started letting me on the computer when I was 9 (she's overly protective, easiest way to explain her), I was already looking up information for my first actual game: FireRed. Mainly, how to do the Braille puzzles, but I started learning about the series and its intricacies back then. I may not have known how to get Flygon (my favorite Pokemon at the time until I saw the majesties that were Lilligant, Latias, Latios, and Jirachi), but I did know what I liked and didn't like (Weezing, Muk, etc... not really a fan of poison types). Funny enough, I started getting into competitive battling when I was 10 years old. I didn't really know anything in terms of EVs and IVs, but if there was anything I was willing to learn at that age, it was something competitive so I could leave the K'nex behind. I will admit that I was a bit of a noob back then, but not extremely. I had ideas for certain sets and how they worked (such as an AV Latias that if you really wanted to, you could run today. Just replace Psychic for Psyshock, other moves are T-Bolt, Ice Beam, and Dragon Pulse. Odd in sound, but seems relatively awesome and different. Unfortunately, this was Gen 4, so RIP that), just not in the sense that an actual competitive player would know how. I basically used Pokebeach as my basics tutorial while competing in a series called Murder (which I ran one game of on here, but no one roleplayed like people did on Pokebeach, thus ruining the great aspect about it) that I ended up dominating until the Game Corner there got closed (I ended up at the top of the points leaderboard and was the only person to win as the murderer. I also won three games in a row... think of Murder as my foundation for Mafia, which I'll get to). Eventually, I got banned because corrupt mods and a troll that kept up with insults and decided to PM that account 2 months after the incident that he was sorry, but none of that matters because ultimately it was just a warm-up for what I came up with here. After that banning, I decided to look around for a new home. I wasn't really sure what to go to, as I wasn't really a fan of Smogon, so I just googled the first thing that popped into my mind: Pokemon Online. From there, I actually learned things about the different metagames and how each operated, mostly in part to the #Tournaments channel. What I originally went into, however, was the #Mafia channel, as the premise sort of reminded me of Murder, but much quicker and more heavily layered. From there, I formed a bunch of relationships and have honestly learned how to deal with the internet thanks to the numerous trolls and such. And now, here I am today with my own little empire of sorts: a few Mafia themes in my back pocket after learning how to code basically by myself, a nice run in Tournaments that I hope to fire back up once summer is over (8-4:30, M-F summer job kind of drains the energy out of me. On the bright side, about $300 a week so not bad for a first job), and a nice legion of friends that I can actually call my friends because I do talk to them on a regular basis. I don't think it's that far of a stretch to call myself the Taylor Swift of PO: Scrutinized by those who don't know me, liked by those that actually do. 10 quick facts about me: 1. My favorite color is red 2. Sass is my favorite kind of humor. It punches hard but in a way that isn't completely rude 3. Yes, I am gay. Apparently this became a problem with a certain someone that has been harassing me/obsessing over me since. 4. (only including this because they asked over and over again to be in the shoutouts) @EvilDingoRobot, I do not like you in that way nor do I want to be your friend. I don't know how you got the idea that I taught you how to battle and play Mafia, but we ultimately have a one-sided relationship, and I'm the side that does not give a flying fuck. 5. My favorite cartoon would have to be Teen Titans (not the new one, the original) 6. My favorite Titan is Starfire because I seem to resonate most with her: an outsider, but can seriously kick some butt 7. My favorite video game would have to be Kid Icarus: Uprising. The voice acting is perfect and has a type of humor that I do enjoy. 8. I've only watched two anime: The Devil Is A Part-Timer!! and Death Note. Of the two, Part-Timer is my favorite because it is up my alley in terms of humor, though Death Note does have a pretty elaborate story that I do enjoy. 9. Daisy > Peach 10. I like chocolate. I'm going to close this out with all the shoutouts I've been wanting to do, so here we go! @EljayQuiz - Honestly, my first true friend on here and though you change your name 5007 times a month it seems, you're still an awesome person to me even though you now have power. @Beast and @Fuzzysqurl - Tagging you two together because you two kept Mafia sound when we had far more people, and I do thank you for that. @IceKirby - Thank you for providing as many awesome Mafia themes as you do, hope to work with you in the future soon. @Fiery Espeon - You're just a cool cat that's been around for a while like me, so hi @Honey Senpei - Love ya Honey! We're gonna kick ass soon in TCC3, let's win it. @Water - You honestly get far less praise than you deserve. You're an awesome person that is skilled, you're just on the quieter side. Love ya man. @Mayorofpie - You're fun to play Mafia with. @Karp Karpity - You're just an awesome, rational person to talk to and are one of the reasons why I enjoy logging on. @SkyPhoenix - Baeeeeeeeeee <3333 Can't remember when we clicked and why, but either way what we have now is magical and it shouldn't stop. @IronStorm - Don't really talk to you that often, though honestly I should. You seem like a pretty cool dude. @Whereabouts Unknown - You may mess up on your Mafia themes pretty often, but you are a cool person that's in charge of Mafia now so I am happy about that. @Draciel - #Swifties4Lyfe @diamondslight - You may not say much and you may be friends with someone that is ultimately problematic right now, but your silence is golden and you are actually starting to play Mafia now. Hopefully we can have a solid bridge in the future. @Mr. Perry - Another bae I should really talk to more often. @E.T. - Just a chill person in general, love ya bro @gengar17 and @Casparov - Easily the two people I've had the most fun with in #Tournaments. We have a little power triangle of sorts between us, although the link between you two is definitely stronger (you guys had to have fought over 700 times by now). Long story short, you two are awesome and I hope we continue this relationship into the future. @Celestial Phantom - We've come a long way since you called me cancer back in 2011 or 2012, huh? You're still a cool cat and I've improved in terms of attitude after that little incident, so let's chat some more sometime. @Cirno - For making the nicest bot PO has. Should probably talk to you more, but idk what you like so that might be hard. @Kland - (no one saw this coming, huh?) Your lunacy actually provides me with slight humor from time to time. I wish you'd be a little more realistic when it comes to talking to me, but you are actually kind of funny. @beforedawn - Another tournament fwen, why you're not MU yet is beyond me. Either way, you're a lovely person that I'd love to be able to continue to talk to in the future. (also, saw your Clean Bandit alt today, and couldn't help but go "yasssssssssssssssssssssss") @Shazan - For making an awesome nonpeak theme with me in RPS. Hope to do more work with you sometime. @Magmarex - Ultimately a smart, quieter person I should talk to more often. Also, sorry for killing you so much in Mafia, I just get the most paranoid about you sometimes. @Windblown - Another awesome friend from way back when, please stay with us and not your LoL/Dota community... forget which it was. @Withoutatrace - We need to talk more. Seriously. @Raducan - Read above. I think that covers everyone, sorry if I forgot you! Doesn't mean you're any less important to me, I just don't want to end up tagging everyone. Since I did do this in a well/profile-style format, feel free to ask me q's below and I will answer them! ~Joey P.S. No, I will not do it for the Vine.
Where is my shoutout I like you :( EDIT: NEVERMIND you tagged me as Alice and not Cirno EDIT2: I like Touhou and Homestuck and boy's love and cute things :3
lol weavile didn't get a shoutout, guess im better than him Who is your favorite musician/band? What's your favorite sport? Why do you enjoy Mafia and Tournaments more than Trivia and Hangman? Your opinion on Beyoncé? Your opinion on @Weavile's avatar?
Solo artist right now would have to be Taylor Swift for obvious reasons, though I am digging Tori Kelly along with Zedd and George Ezra right now. As far as bands go, probably a tossup between 5SOS and FOB, with P!ATD and Paramore coming in right below that. Just depends on my mood. I don't really watch sports because shit is too slow most of the time (even NASCAR if you wanna call that a sport, too monotonous), so I'd have to say hockey. Very excellent question! Tournaments and Mafia both capture my competitive spirit in different ways whereas Hangman and Trivia kind of don't. I'm the type of person that likes going head-to-head with other people (probably why I bought Smash for the Wii U and Mario Karp 8 with my first two paychecks), an experience both Tournaments and Mafia provide in excess in a way that's different with every playthrough. Trivia and Hangman don't have the same type of interaction to me, thus why I enjoy the other two channels more. I was afraid this question was going to come up... after some analyzing, I'd say she's OK for a niche artist, and let me explain that. Beyonce is kind of like Justin Timberlake--both were in groups and launched solo careers later. I won't deny she has talent or say she's not beautiful, but her music doesn't exactly appeal to me and she's in her own world of music at this point, much like Christina Aguilera. Here's the difference between those two though: Xtina has made (and hopefully will continue to make) hit after hit that even a casual music fan can list off: Genie In A Bottle, Beautiful, Fighter, and Moves Like Jagger being within the top 10 answers for "Name a Christina Aguilera song". Beyonce, however... there's "Single Ladies", "Drunk In Love", "Halo", and after that people will be stuck on what to say in terms of songs. So in sum, she's OK to me, but not exactly the queen people believe her to be. Terrifying o.o Make 10 easy payments of $29.99 and I will over 30 days! Wow my slightly evil joke post was deleted :( In any case, I tl;dr the post and just skipped to my name and found out people only care about me as long as I make mafia themes :( also u still nub I have over 1.8k posts u can't beat me
I don't just care about you just because you make Mafia themes @IceKirby, it's just the only interaction we seem to have :/ I can tell you why that post got deleted though, even though I didn't report it.
the league of legends community is actual cancer I am here for the community and there for the game opinion on ?
"You were my gravity" makes me immediately think of the lyrics "Why are you my clarity" from Zedd's "Clarity" (ft. Foxes), but that being said she has a pretty good voice and the lyrics are actually interesting for once. Plus, that beat was awesome! Not something I'd listen to on the daily, but I give it an 8/10. EDIT: Just want to note the person I mentioned in Fact 3 has been watching the thread longer than I have. Theory confirmed
It was a pleasure to work with you pal. Whenever you want to make another masterpiece together give me a call
ay Gratz for the 1000th post, Joey. Though I disagree with you regarding Beyoncé (we need to talk bout that), you're still a nice guy and I agree with you about your shoutout. Also, do not get too close to @SkyPhoenix, I'm not a nice person. n_n
Miki Productions is proud to offer a wide variety of unique mafia experiences. Anyway, grats on 1k! What's your least favorite anime? Do you have a mafia theme of that anime? Awkward. Hataraku Mao Sama theme? Favorite chocolate? Favorite Pokémon that neither evolves nor has evolved and is not legendary? Have you ever soft-reset a Pokémon game to get a Sassy starter? I feel like I should bug you to do QC ):
I see what you're trying to do with your first two q's, but I actually enjoy both DN and TDIAPT! equally. TDIAPT! just appeals to something I enjoy more--humor. Hataraku whaddutity what? Reese's!!! Really tough q (especially because no one thinks of Pokemon like that)... I'm gonna have to say... King Kecleon. That's a thing? I soft-reset a Latios from the Enigma Stone events and got a Sassy Shiny one. Does that count? Don't need to, I'm doing that ish tonight/tomorrow.
Hi can you write a detailed comparative analysis of this song in relation to another pop song of your choice?
Like the one guy in Meet The Robinsons says, PREPARE TO BE AMAZED! Let's compare this lovely piece of art to something the two artists hope can be artistic for their sake, as their upcoming botox and autotune payments depend on it. The opening of the first song, "Taylor Swift Screaming Goat" is very short, but gets across a very clear message: Taylor Swift is lying on the cold hard ground. Someone must've knocked her out in love or, worse, her cats scratched up her insured legs again and she's actually thinking about suing them to the point where she's frustrated trying to figure out what to do because the cats are her babies. On the opposing side, we have Britney (and Iggy, I guess) basically saying the following Valley Girl sentence without the stereotypical accent and drawn out: "Oh my god, we're just soooooo pretty that we can get whatever we want whenever we want!". I once made myself a bowl of alphabet soup that read "I got dat ass tho" (sucks that my phone was in repair at the time), and that sentence far more merit than BritBrit's lines because I be doing them squats on the daily so at least that's accurate. The chorus for the Screaming Goat song is just as it's described: a screaming goat. That being said, I find it to be a cute metaphor for Britney's chorus + Iggy's assist on the lead-up: it's annoying, but fortunately doesn't carry enough pain for me to care about it in about 10 minutes. On the bright side, at least as goat didn't have to use autotune! Second verse is basically the same ole BS from BritBrit ("OMG I'm so pretty LOVE ME I WAS ON X-Factor" while you have Xtina making it rain in the background over two sweaty muscular guys because she's still making bank), which competes with... nothing from the Screaming Goat song, and by that I mean Taylor's 14 seconds at the start of the song was more than enough to trump these two. So, in conclusion, Screaming Goat>Igloo Australia, now watch as I can write a better rap than her and her ghost writers. You really thought that I was into you? Did you even think that opinion through Or did you not care, feelin blue Over those 2 guys you blew Well listen to me baby when I say That I think your ass about to get slayed All about me, it ain't your day Sorry baby, I just love this way
