Just showcasing my Dragon mono (also frequently used in OU battles), and looking for tips/RMTs/etc. Shall we begin? Alduin (Garchomp) Focus Sash Rough Skin 252 atk, 4 SpA, 252 speed Naive Earthquake/Fire Blast/Iron Head/Stealth Rock Alduin is my disposable lead, pretty much the only one I'm willing to immediately sac if needed. Fire Blast for annoying Steel leads (Skarm and the like), Iron Head for Fairies (I realize Iron Tail does more damage, but I don't like to risk the miss with Iron Tail), and EQ for a nice STAB physical attack. Nothing special here. Sahloknir (Dragonite) Choice Band Multiscale 252 HP, 252 atk, 4 Spe Adamant Dragon Claw/Earthquake/Extreme Speed/Fire Punch Sahloknir is my Banded sweeper. Pretty standard, nothing special to point out here. Odahviing (Latios) Life Orb Levitate 252 spatk, 4 spdef, 252 speed Timid Defog/Energy Ball/Psyshock/Roost Odahviing is your standard offensive/defogger Latios, with Energy Ball to get rid of annoying Water types like Rotom-W, Swampert, Gastrodon, etc, Psyshock there to hit hard as per usual, and Roost to provide recovery given the opportunity. Viinturuth (Goodra) Assault Vest Gooey 252 HP, 252 atk, 4 def Sassy Dragon Pulse/Dragon Tail/Flamethrower/Sludge Wave Viinturuth is your typical AV Goodra, with some small tweaks I made. I run a mixed atacking set with Dragon Tail to stop setups, and Gooey helps slow down any speedy physical hard hitters. Mirmulnir (Mega Altaria) Altarianite Natural Cure 252 HP, 252 atk, 4 speed Adamant Dragon Dance/Earthquake/Return/Roost Mirmulnir is my go-to for late game sweeping, and I LOVE the typing. A Dragon that is immune to other Dragons? YES PLEASE. If an opponent locks themselves into an Outrage, that gives me a free turn to DD after they KO my previous mon, most likely two DDs as the opponent is likely to switch out. EQ to handle non Flying/Levitating Poison types, Return because Pixilate and the damage. Paarthurnax (Kyurem-Black) Leftovers Teravolt 56 HP, 252 spatk, 200 speed Mild Earth Power/Fusion Bolt/Ice Beam/Substitute Paarthurnax is a bit of a deviation from the common Scarf Rage Kyu-B set. Its bulk makes it a great mon for going behind a Substitute and just pounding the opposition. Add in Teravolt with Earth Power, and you've got yourself an answer for common Levitators such as Gengar and Rotom-W. Ice Beam for a powerful STAB (can potentially 2hko a lot of mons), and Fusion Bolt cause Kyu-B. Importable is below. Any tips are appreciated! I would recommend getting rid of Iron Head on Garchomp. Even if it is super effective, it's really only going to do a little bit more damage than STAB Earthquake would. I would also recommend going with a more defensive spread with Rocky Helmet rather than making it a suicide lead. Being a suicide lead doesn't make much sense considering that you have a Defogger and might have to remove the rocks later. Outrage might be something to consider for Dragonite over Dragon Claw because it will help it function as a wall breaker a lot better. I would strongly recommend Draco Meteor over Energy Ball. Based on your explanation, Energy Ball would really only be helpful against Water and maybe Ground, but Draco Meteor can nuke a lot more things and it gets STAB. This might be a typo, but Goodra should probably be invested in Special Attack for that set. Other than that, the rest of the team looks pretty good to me.
Would you people stop playing Skyrim? Terrible game. But yea, stop sacking ChompyChompChomp. Too beautiful for that. Dragon Tail does not make a pokemon a mixed set. Goodra needs SpAtk IVs back. Fire Blast is the best move for chompy.
I personaly think the team lacks speed. My suggestion would be to change Kyurem-B spread to a Choice Scarf Naive with Full spe atk and full speed. Helps dealing with Monoflying and gives your team more speed control. As E.T. said outrage over dragon claw is better on dragonite. Change Altaria spread, having no speed with dragon dance is bad, very bad. Play 64 ev hp 252 speed and rest in attack
