You know where we at, it's primetime rappin', so lets go head and get into it. Randomiser Rules: Spoiler - Update Moves (to their gen 6 variants) - Change Impossible Evos - Randomise Hidden Hollows/Grottoes - Randomise Pokemon Abilities (disallow Wonder Guard) - Randomise Starters (completely) - Randomise Movesets (completely, every pokemon starts with 4 moves) - Randomse Trainer’s Pokemon (Rival keeps the starter throughout the game; No early Wonder Guard) - Randomise Wild Pokemon (completely, Catch Em All mode and randomise wild held items) - Randomise Static Pokemon (completely) - Randomise TMs and TM/HM compatibility (completely) - Randomise Move Tutors and Move Tutors compatibility (completely) - Randomise Given Pokemon in In-Game Trades (randomize nicknames, OT’s, IV’s and held items) - Randomise Field Items (excluding some, like Key Items) Nuzlocke rules here (i follow the basic six, accepting Gift Pokemon and considering them an addition to the obtainable pokemon in that area) Adventure time!! Spoiler If you take a closer look, you'll notice she is wearing sneakers, just like doctors are allowed to wear comfortable footwear to move faster in case of an emergency and better sustain the exhausting shift- eh fuck it LOL LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS A TURD ON TOP OF HER HEAD XD Spoiler Actually i sexually identify as an assault helicopter, but for the sake of gameplay, i'll let that one slip. It's ok, i get the same reaction from most people here. Uh thanks, that's good to hear for a change :] :D Yes, yes you did. *Warning: loud noises* *Due to being a pathetic no life loser, my mother decided to get me an escort so i can lose the V-card i so trustfully held on to for all these years. Or so it seemed,,, /º\* For fuck's sake mom, i'll get out of my room whenever the fuck i want to, LEAVE ME ALONE! Yes mom, i found out about it on 4chin and 10gag XD Just give it to me already or i swear i'll leave this shithole like Dad did! EEEEEEENNNNF *How autistic must one be that his own mother doubts his ability to open a bag?* That's weird, Chief Ainsley told me i should be looking for a big, round ass hehe bwoiii *It was now time to change the game settings, necessary for the ultimate experience. Challenge Mode cheat, to raise the difficulty from the beginning, Exp. Bug fix, Sonic Text Speed and implement randomiser changes* Screenshot because it's a cool image :] That's why i chose Catch Em All mode XD Hell motherfucker yeah, time to see what the luck gods have saved for me! Looks like they had to scrape the bottom of the barrel. It was a hard choice, but i think Anorith has the most potential, having less weaknesses, Erratic experience group and the possibility to learn some cool physical moves, and so it goes~ FWG coverage is not optimal for Anorith, but it's far from shabby. I also forgot to turn on Challenge Mode in this battle, otherwise Butterfree would be at lvl. 6. Clever meme. Shoutout to Bianca for keeping the dumb blonde stereotypes fresh. *The most important moment in a trainer's life is the starter choice, or so is the case in a normal playthrough. However, in a Nuzlocke run, where pain and tragedy are a constant reality, every route holds hope. In this one, i was about to meet my first wild pokemon..* O_k. It's not that bad tbh, can really benefit from a random movepool. After catching it, however, the only useful move it had was Thunder Fang. *Neggy the Minun joined the party :D* My first cardiac arrhythmia. This Charizard had Blast Burn, luckily the abilities are randomised, or Blaze would have gotten me good. *Making my way downtown, SSJ3 Alder approached my by jumping off A FUCKING CLIFF HOLY SHIT and telling me to go to the next town to "train ;)". Floccesy Town was rather dull, and i needed to meet Hugh before carrying on training, so i headed to Route 20 to meet my second partner.* Ah, this encounter. It was seriously frustrating, because it had Head Smash and because of its specific mechanics, Claydol's HP would lower a lot. It had Dragon Pulse, Incinerate and i think Metal Claw, but ultimately it killed itself before i could catch it. Null area. Proof that i ball hard and allowed trainers to use legendaries, which will probably come back to bite me in the ass lol. Another disastrous attempt. This Slowbro knew Leaf Blade and Relic Song, and i did weaken it enough with Trilobby, but it was taking too much damage so i decided to switch in Neggy and weaken it with Hydro Pump, which it had learned recently. It critted ;( *Another subplot with some Farmers and a lost Herdier that uncovers a bit of the veil surrounding Michael's past and justification to his attitudes (btw shitty Rival, Barry was much cooler *THUD*) and the rebirth of Team Plasma* Since i randomised TM's, and there's hundreds of possibilities for each new TM, i'm going to screenshot the new moves. TM 21 was supposed to be Frustration, so it's not a noteworthy change. THE SQUAD!!!
10/10 expert memer. Look forward to the coming parts even though I've seen spoilers in Indigo chat. You should stop sucking and actually catch something.
Part 1 The saga continues, two gym battles this time, cuz fuck waiting for you to get it on your own, Pedro gon' deliver to ya. Randomiser Rules: Spoiler - Update Moves (to their gen 6 variants) - Change Impossible Evos - Randomise Hidden Hollows/Grottoes - Randomise Pokemon Abilities (disallow Wonder Guard) - Randomise Starters (completely) - Randomise Movesets (completely, every pokemon starts with 4 moves) - Randomse Trainer’s Pokemon (Rival keeps the starter throughout the game; No early Wonder Guard) - Randomise Wild Pokemon (completely, Catch Em All mode and randomise wild held items) - Randomise Static Pokemon (completely) - Randomise TMs and TM/HM compatibility (completely) - Randomise Move Tutors and Move Tutors compatibility (completely) - Randomise Given Pokemon in In-Game Trades (randomize nicknames, OT’s, IV’s and held items) - Randomise Field Items (excluding some, like Key Items) Nuzlocke rules here (i follow the basic six, accepting Gift Pokemon and considering them an addition to the obtainable pokemon in that area) Part 2 below: *After completing the Floccesy Ranch quest, it was time to resume my training with Alder, the Lion Man(e).* *It became clear to me that Alder's training was unconventional. An old man, single, living alone with two kids that he personally "trained" to his liking. Victims before me, probably harboured by him as he met them when they began their journeys, just like he met me. He didn't do romance.* Serperior was a very tough cookie to crack. It had both Heal Order and Metal Burst, which meant that i had to wear it down with resisted moves and nail it in the end with Flame Charge. Victreebel had Blaze Kick, i had Copycat LOLGG! I have a feeling this move is going to save my ass more times than i'll care to count. Yes, which is why you used pokemon of different types. Oh wait! Hey, i just met you~ Also, apparently Alder did not work alone. Stopped by Pledge Grove to admire the scenery (nah seriously, most areas look great in Autumn, you should check Bulbapedia for the full area image), but the place in itself is useless. No tall grass, no fishing, items, nada. Just a place to come by if i happen to catch a Keldeo, which is very unlikely. RIVETING NEXT GENERATION MECHANICS. Let's take a moment to reflect on how Alder would be the perfect HM Slave. Climbing hills with Rock Climb, using Fly and probably Strenght too, to meet his sage hermit style. *I had been informed that the Aspertia Gym had reopened, led by former Rival and easily embarassed character Cheren, so it was time to see what he had in store for me* Regi-fucking-gigas. Due to randomised abilities, i was certain it didn't have Slow Start, which meant that that 670 BST and 160 Base Attack was available right off the bat. I just had to hope it had shit moves, and with enough Potions i could put it down. That, however, wasn't the case. It had Hyper Fang, which would easily 2hko Minun, had i not switched to Anorith. Scald burned on the first hit, and because we were in the 1st gym, Potion would only heal 1/3 of his HP and not cure its status. So i took the opportunity to heal Minun, and keep Anorith relatively healthy. I forgot to save an image, but the next pokemon was Lucario, which got 2hko'd by Flame Charge. Aura Sphere (lol) didn't do much. My potions were scarce at this point, so i decided that if the final pokemon was another behemoth, Minun would sacrifice itself for the sake of the run. Guess Minun will live to fight another day :D Got that right bitch. I thought you had to fight this guy to get the Basic Badge. Work Up and Return, respectively. The good news is, Crabhammer has the gen VI stats, which means 100 BP instead of 90, and 90 acc instead of 85, the bad news is, neither Anorith or Minun could learn it ;(. Skype call with my friends means its time to play Cards Against Humanity! Don't forget your killer cards people! Don't worry, i'll still crop out the empty lower half of the screen ;) We all have that relative, usually a brother or cousin around our age who thinks he/she knows all and as soon as he/she catches a glimpse of any screen you might be using, begins the Bianca talk. No, i don't want that product, i don't even open my Pokédex, it's a randomiser!!!! Ah, and then comes the clever trick, designed to counter the tl;dr'ers that just skim through the conversations until the NPC shuts up. Not this time, Bianca. *Ever since Dad left, Mom has become a different person. Her joyful smile remains unchanged to a first look, but i can tell it's just muscle torsion devoid of meaning, an appearance maintained to keep me out of worries, to tell me that everything is fine, that everything is going to be just fine. I find her trapped in the old routine, doing the same things over and over again, trying to get by, to not think about that moment again. I told her about my decision, about fulfilling my destiny (more clichés, sir?), but it seems she's acting towards me like when Dad left, she swept it under the carpet.* *Mom, you... missed a spot* Yeah, because my pokemon are stronger than your pokemon. Seriously, why did no one ever had the idea to just pull a gun and shoot your opponent, then steal his money. More practical than having a world run by youths with enclosed gods. If possible, everytime i reach a new route i will go straight for the dark grass to have better chances of catching a good pokemon. Doesn't mean that dark grass encounters will always be Double Battles, and if i happen to step on regular grass and trigger an encounter, i will stick with that pokemon. Just showing the C-Gear view. It's useless, BRING BACK THE POKÉTCH! Ah, this is a fun exchange. Roxie's father, envious of her daughter's ability to conciliate her Gym Leader obligations and her Rock Star career, decides to do the same thing, reconciling his job as a ship captain and as a future movie star. *SPOILER ALERT* It didn't work for him. For people who were to able to star in prominent movie roles and captain ships, please don't see (seriously, don't) Captain Stabbin. Things your children say! On today's episode: the letter D! Yeah, i realised rustling grass doesn't really stand out in still images lol. Anyway, time to get a new team member! There's a reason i chose this sad Cherokee. From Bulbapedia: "It evolves into Mr. Mime when leveled up while knowing Mimic.", which, due to randomised moves, means it is very very unlikely that it will learn Mimic through level-up, let alone at a reasonable level. I killed it, although i should have caught it to serve me as an HM Slave. Oh well. This is how you create fidelity with a customer: you give him a couple of unrefusable offers, then by the time he's hooked up, you demand all his Poké Dollars for the chance to see his family again. I swear Keynes wrote something among these lines. Previously TM 46, Thief! Previously TM 94, Rock Smash, so it's not a big change. It's a different area for me, deal with it. This specific Leafeon, well, you'll see what it has later ;) *Verdi the Leafeon joined the party :D* About time, i got fucking Stable Mulch in the last dropped item! It's easier to grind when you're fighting fully evolved forms before the 2nd gym. Still, i wanted to make sure Roxie wouldn't an ordeal like Cheren. This nigga. It's time. Challenge Mode seems to be working fine, otherwise she would have 2 pokemon. Not exactly a Regigigas, Octopus-senpai had an annoying movepool of Flash, Hone Claws and Mega Punch, not enough to make me sweat a Super Potion for my efforts. I had mixed feelings about Sableye. It couldn't have Prankster, but a randomised movepool could be just as dangerous as the annoyer we all know. I was right. However, it went down to two Fusion Bolts. My competitive experience teaches me that Vaporeon never dies, and not enough randomising can take away its great bulk and 110 Sp. Atk (actually, i could, but that would be too much) Thanks to Trick Room, Vaporeon's Payback would deal piss poor damage, while double Fusion Bolt was enough to take it down. I'm not sure what this is meant to represent, but a purple skull would look better, and sp00kier Previously Venoshock, but even less useful. Fuck this randomiser. THE SQUAD!!!
Spoiler Part 1 | Part 2 Our saga continues, exploring the largest city in Unova and experiencing even more sorrow :(. Randomiser Rules: Spoiler - Update Moves (to their gen 6 variants) - Change Impossible Evos - Randomise Hidden Hollows/Grottoes - Randomise Pokemon Abilities (disallow Wonder Guard) - Randomise Starters (completely) - Randomise Movesets (completely, every pokemon starts with 4 moves) - Randomse Trainer’s Pokemon (Rival keeps the starter throughout the game; No early Wonder Guard) - Randomise Wild Pokemon (completely, Catch Em All mode and randomise wild held items) - Randomise Static Pokemon (completely) - Randomise TMs and TM/HM compatibility (completely) - Randomise Move Tutors and Move Tutors compatibility (completely) - Randomise Given Pokemon in In-Game Trades (randomize nicknames, OT’s, IV’s and held items) - Randomise Field Items (excluding some, like Key Items) Nuzlocke rules here (i follow the basic six, accepting Gift Pokemon and considering them an addition to the obtainable pokemon in that area) Pokéstar Studios side quest: Spoiler *As soon as i went offstage, after my victory over Roxie, i noticed a blonde man in the audience, with a rather voyeuristic look. My suspicions were confirmed, as the man asked me to go with him to some "studio". My aspirations in becoming the next Lyle Boyce (don't look it up) were finally coming into fruition!* *I was introduced to the employer, a man whose name was given to by the same minds that created Voltorb, and whose accent could make the most boogan of aussies go heaps barro (ay). He immediately showed interest in me, but neither of them would explain their actual intentions. Something was amiss.* *Ah yes, Captain Stabbin'. The theater's design was normal, surprisingly. Perhaps it was Roleplay Friday, and ol' Stern was just deep in his persona. He invited me to watch his movie debut, which, given his acting experience, could only lead to one result.* *Yes, that is the appropriate reaction. Don't worry Stern, something tells me you're gonna ace the next Razzie's edition.* Holy shit that looks amazing! GOJIRAAAAA! So your accent flunctuates, huh? *After Cap'n's disastrous debut, it was time to make my own. For some reason, i was presented with the option to use either rental or party pokemon, even though you can only use rentals in the debut (can't be Riolu Kid without Riolu xD). Stu Deeoh introduced me to the main man, Mr. Clint EastwoodBrycen, a former Gym Leader.* 1. Use Drain Punch on Pawniard to OHKO it 2. Say "Bring it on!", demonstrating your true edgy mettle 3. Use Ice Punch on Vullaby, which surprisingly OHKO's Just let me go already. Here comes two! The display is the same as it was with the Captain, only i win, of course. Typos. Now we can continue the main story! Part :3 Spoiler *Upon returning to Virbank, the only way to advance in the story was to take the boat to Castelia. However, Team Plasma arrived first, and what could have been a cool Triple Battle turns out to be three shitty 1v1 (rust) matches.* HM's aren't randomised, obviously. I don't think Cut is necessary to game progress, so i will refrain from teaching it to any of my teammates. Oh Frozen meme! I like Castelia City. The items here aren't overly hard to get, except for the stupid Passerby Analytics sidequests, and it's pretty diverse. Probably my favorite town/city. *The Harlequin Hunt is a cool gig to help you explore the city by finding clowns standing on some of the city's landmarks. Now that i had the Bycicle, it was time to go item and battle hunting, but not before triggering two events: going all the way to the gate that leads to Route 4, so Bianca would give me the Dowsing Machine, and go to Gym Street to talk to Clyde and have Iris lead me to the sewers, where i could catch my next partner* They were on the way. I screened Douse Drive because im curious as to whether the move Techno Blast will become Water-type, even if not held by Genesect, like Bulbapedia says. Here's to the off chance that i end up having a pokemon with Techno Blast (Porygon-Z would be pretty cool :( ). Formerly Flash. Getting through Mistralton Cave and Victory Road will be a pain in the blinds, but Water Spout, man. I also got mugged three times in Narrow Street, by three different ethnic groups. Now i can go full Dora the Explorer! *Burgh's absence from the Gym raised some skepticism from Iris, who had just arrived. Upon questioning her about Team Plasma, she says that the criminal organization disbanded two years ago, after their leader Ghetsis' defeat, and N finding a new, beneficial resolve to his presence in this world. She concluded that there are only two places in Castelia where they could be: Narrow Street or Castelia Sewers, and since i just came back from the first place, i follow her to the second.* I fucking hate Hugh. Seriously, what a shitty rival. Not only is his entire character development (yeah, its Pokemon, but w/e) based around getting his younger sister's Purrloin back from Team Plasma, he relies on the main character to help him find it, and doesn't follow a parallel course to the player (becoming the Champion, beating the League, being ultimately stronger than the player). His team is awfully bad, having just the starter, an elemental monkey, the early route bird and Afrobull (can't all be bad) before E4. Look at this team. This is a real NPC team fam. Not only that, he killed both wild pokemon in this area, so its a null area (Vanilluxe even had Ice Beam holy fuck). Formerly Rest. Sleep inducing move for sleep inducing move sounds like a fair trade. Battle Company is fun, but they really have to reconsider their corporative strategies with the whole "lets have a 10 year old run this business" thing. I mean, the company is big enough to afford having an entire building with multiple stories and employing dozens of people. Hm, i wonder what the rating agencies have to say about this. Yeah no. Get back behind your desk Miss Moneypenny. I underestimated the kid, but he was proper gutted hehe. Harlequint Hunt completed. Screenshotted out of sheer coincidence. I was watching the Marx brothers (google it) comedy clips, and i got the Darm brothers in here. Hell, their eyebrows kinda look like Groucho's right? Reliable source of daily healing items. Who needs to waste money on potions when you can just mess up your computer's clock and trigger daily events by the minute :D (seriously unencouraged, just waste the money). There's a male scientist who gives you way better shit with the same researching methods. So much for gender equality. 1. Double battle the Grunts with Hugh aka Michael aka Blaze It Michael 2. Get blindsided and robbed by Burgh because you're a weakling (they worked thoroughly to make Castelia look like Manhattan). 3. Get stronger so you can fight off petty thieves. 4. Get approached by an evil scientist who awaits you after the 3rd badge. Alright, roll the dice! Ok, that's not a bad poke- oh wait a fucking minute. It has Imposter. Which means, no matter how good your moves are, you will be stuck with the same movepool as your opponent (great for scouting, except you can't afford to switch in and out since fainted = death and you have only 5 PP for each move). So, it is with great sadness that i will leave Relicanth as an HM Slave/death fodder. *Relican the Relicanth joined the party :D* (caught in Relic Passage btw) *Arnold the Conkeldurr joined the party :D* Finally, was going to fight one of the genius who came up with the name Stu Deeoh. So far so good. Fusion Flare did wayyyy less than i expected, but i don't have a problem with that. Elgyem, for those unaware, is the pronounciation of the letters LGM, initials for Little Green Men, a typical portrayal of humanoid extraterrestrials. Elgyem itself looks like a Grey. *MANDATORY AYY LMAO* Single pokemon. A Pachirisu, of all things. Doesn't pack a punch, and can only take one from the special side. No words. Nice! It was time to replace Anorith with another Rock-type. However, things weren't so simple. I sent out Conkeldurr to weaken it a bit, but this Gigalith had Close Combat, so i would be 2hko'd if i stayed in. Leafeon used Dual Chop, but unfortunately the second hit critted. Consolation prize. Didn't screenshot in time. This motherfucker had Destiny Bond, but Sacred Fire missed. That move is deadly man. I was very lucky with a Fusion Bolt crit allowing me to 2hko it. Ice Beam would have killed me otherwise. Dratini, definitely not as threatening right? Right, but much more annoying. It kept paralyzing me (rip no Gen 6 mechanics) with Stun Spore, and when it wasn't doing that, it was burning me with Flamethrower. Second image is when i decided to use a Castelia Cone to heal my status, since a crit would never kill me. Or so i thought. I was right, Flamethrower crit wouldn't kill me. Bulldoze, on the hand ;~;. Why, god, why? HJK OHKO! Hell motherfucker yeah! Doom Desire with a death wish. Carry on, then. Formerly Struggle Bug. Algo got TM 45, which now had Clamp (ay) instead of Attract. THE SQUAD!!! (when will i have a 6 man team smh)
