Since 1st gen, boosting moves are as common as feared. Not every pokémon can learn those moves, and their usage make any pokémon extremely powerful. So, what if battles were played by pokémon that are forced to use at least one boosting move? You may think this will be a hyper offensive teams showdown, but think about that twice, because I guess we would see many Pokémon with Cosmic Power or Iron Defense.

    Rules:

    - Format: ORAS OU

    - Every pokémon in the player's team must have at least one move that boost its stats (such as Swords Dance, Cosmic Power, Tail Glow, etc) or one move that drops the opponent's pokémon stats (such as Charm, Confide, Growl, etc).

    - Abilities like Intimidate or Speed Boost can be used, but won't be considered as a boosting move.

    - Moves which increase pokémon stats, for example Power-up Punch, or drop the opponent's ones, for example Icy Wind, are considered boosting moves.

    - The ability Unaware is banned.

    - Clauses: Sleep Clause, Species Clause, Wifi Battle, Self-KO Clause.

    - Battles will be best of 1

    - Signups will last one week

Will the Pokemon be required to use these boosting moves throughout the game? If so, when and how many times?

To be honest, I don't really see this as being fun or competitive. I think it'll be a matter of matchup advantage in a 1v1 situation, where one mon boosts up using something like Shell Smash (or GeoPass if you're into that), and is able to sweep the other team with ease.

So, I'm going with reject 1/2
