1. Please make sure you are running the most up to date client released. For the most part this is self-explanatory, but some people forget to update then report something already fixed. 2. Please check to see if your bug has already been reported. Sometimes bugs are fixed but they don’t take immediate effect. This is the leading cause of duplicate threads, so be sure to quickly look. It will probably take less time to quickly look than it would be to post a thread. 3. Please recreate the bug before posting. Occasionally people post bugs only to realize they missed something obvious. By recreating it, you have a chance to catch the issue and save everyone some time! If you make a team specifically to quickly recreate the bug, if you could share the importable that would be great! It will save time when the bug is dealt with. If you can't replicate it, then how are we supposed to in order to fix it? 4. Always provide thorough logs or screenshots to support the thread. A partial log is not acceptable. There could be something that happened in previous turns that is vital to finding the cause of the bug. 5. If the bug is battle related you should always confirm it is actually a bug. This can be done with a Youtube video, in-game replay, or information on one of many websites. Typically Serebii, Smogon, UPokecenter, and Nuggetbridge are good resources as they have a lot more peer review, or have data directly ripped from the games. Sites such as Bulbapedia, Gamefaqs, and so on are usable, but should not be relied on too heavily because they have been incorrect in the past. A good rule to go by is to find the same information on multiple sites. 6. If you decide to put a prefix on your thread please select the appropriate one. Android- All issues related to Android, regardless of nature. Battle- All issues regarding mechanics in battle. Teambuilder- All issues regarding the teambuilder (moveset validation is included) GUI- All issues regarding the client as a whole. Needs Testing- Avoid using at all costs, but for bugs that are unconfirmed or have conflicting information around the net that you feel strongly enough to post about. Do not use Duplicate, Not A Bug, Next Update, or Fixed. If you are posting a thread that needs one of these prefixes, you've done something wrong and should read the above steps again, or you know how to code and I thank you for your assistance in fixing bugs for us.
