What's up PO community. So it's been about 3 months since my last RMT which has given the OR/AS OU ladder plenty of time to mature, and it seems that not as many new RMT's are posted as I expected. Regardless of this, I felt like sharing the team that recently got me to #1 on the OR/AS OU ladder and it is in fact the first RMT'd team to have peaked #1 in this tier. I was glad to be able to get back into my original tier, and take a break from all the lower tiers that I've been focusing on (like LU in POCL, and the recent official tourney I won, LTT). I hope I never lose interest in Pokemon, because of how far I've come, all the fun times I've had with many of you, and the awesome experiences I've had within the game. Moving on to the team itself, the team you are about to see is a remodeled Italian Offense team fit for the OR/AS OU Meta. Back in X/Y, my friend PDC gave me the original Italian Offense team that everyone was using. It was Garchomp / Pinsir / Azumarill / Diggersby / Magnezone/ Latios. Apparently, a good Italian player made this team and it got famous (tbh I've asked around and nobody knows who made the original team, but that it was used during the early weeks of OLT). It was such a fun and rewarding team to use because battles with it just went quick and you'd have so many openings for a sweep. After OR/AS came out, use of this team significantly plummeted, and I honestly never saw it again from then on. Because of this, I wanted to try and make an OR/AS OU version of the team and fulfill resurrection. I succeeded.

To show how the team works, here's a PO Live I did prior to peaking #1

    Garchomp (F) @ Focus Sash
    Trait: Rough Skin
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Outrage
    - Earthquake
    - Swords Dance
    - Stealth Rock

Garchomp is my lead on most occasions as it gets up early rocks for free since Focus Sash doesn't let it die Turn 1. Sword Dance is to make sure Pokemon like Landorus-T or Ferrothorn don't wall you when they try to get their own rocks up as well as earning you free setups at your own convenience, while Outrage and Earthquake hit stuff like a truck.

    ---------------------------------------------

    Diancie @ Diancite
    Trait: Clear Body
    EVs: 180 Atk / 252 SAtk / 76 Spd
    Rash Nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
    - Diamond Storm
    - Moonblast
    - Earth Power
    - Rock Polish

Mega Diancie is really my favorite of the new Mega OR/AS OU Pokemon just because of how it's so anti-meta. I've used a few sets before but I really like the Rock Polish one the best, since it let's you outspeed pretty much everything after you RP + Mega. The only things that really stops this set in OU are certain Steel types. 180 Atk deals extra damage and kills/kill ranges with Diamond Storm.

    ---------------------------------------------

    Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Magnet Pull
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Volt Switch
    - Thunderbolt
    - Flash Cannon
    - Hidden Power [Fire]

Due to the fact that Diancie has weaknesses to certain Steel types, Magnezone is here to trap and kill them off one by one. It can trap stuff with Magnet Pull like Ferrothorn, Scizor, Skarmory, etc and kill them with its moves. It also give the team some good momentum with Volt Switch. Helps check Talonflames, as well as a plethora of threats.

    ---------------------------------------------

    Latios (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Draco Meteor
    - Psyshock
    - Defog
    - Memento

Latios is an extremely essential member to the team since it not only gets rid of hazards you don't want on your side with Defog, but it also gives you an opportunity to sweep an opponents team after using Memento. It's a good switch into Rotom-W and can check Keldeo pretty well. Overall has good type synergy with the rest of the teammates and helps to ensure safe conditions for your team.

    ---------------------------------------------

    Diggersby (M) @ Focus Sash
    Trait: Huge Power
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Quick Attack
    - Frustration / Knock Off
    - Earthquake
    - Swords Dance

You already know who it is. It's the based god himself, Mr. StealYoGirl, Lord Diggersby. You don't see him too much, but this thing surprisingly puts in as much work as it did in X/Y. You gotta make sure you keep your sash in tact. Latios can help with that. Basically you get an opportunity to set up an SD. Then just spam moves. I put Knock Off as another suggestion over Frustration if you're one of those people that have trouble vs Gengar, or you feel the need to Knock Off a Shed Shell or two. It's no problem for me though.

    ---------------------------------------------

Gyarados (F) @ Life Orb / Lum Berry
    Trait: Moxie
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Waterfall
    - Bounce
    - Stone Edge
    - Dragon Dance

Moxie Gyarados is extremely underrated yet hands down one of the most effective regular Gyarados sets out there. With Life Orb, you deal great damage even without setting up. After one Dragon Dance, you OHKO Zapdos with Stone Edge and get an attack boost. You could try Lum Berry if you're afraid of Status, but then you miss out on extra damage which kinda sucks. Playing around this Pokemon can be tough for your opponent, as sacking a Pokemon will give you an attack boost while on the other hand weakening their win condition against it can be detrimental for them in the long run.

    ---------------------------------------------

And that's the team. How to use: Put rocks on their side, keep rocks off your side, memento something, sweep with something. That's pretty much how it works. Watch the video I made if you want to see examples of actual battles. Now time for some shout-outs to some good friends.

hy bud thanks for the shoutout :]

shed shell skarm looks super problematic for your team, i would recommend running mamo sash w/ ice shard/sr/knock off/eq as the moves so you knock off skarm's shed shell and proceed to trap it with zone n_N

mscizor/shed shell ferro both look fairly threatening vs your team too so i would suggest hp fire > earth power on mdiancie to lure both of them in (sciz on the switch) you dont really need earth power for heatran honestly since tran becomes set up bait for gyara and you get to start cleaning teams with moxie huehue

29hp iv on latios for LO number

solid team as always, go mulan *_*

@Zamrock - He reminded me of you bro LOL

@DracoNinja - While Skarm w/ Shed Shell is able to avoid my Magnezone, it misses the extra recovery and gets 2 hit KO'd by my +1 Gyarados. It can also be KO'd with Diancie's Moonblast so long as it doesn't have Iron Head since Skarm can't touch it otherwise. Shed Shell Ferrothorn on the other hand is a little trickier, but is more situational than anything else. Recovery is harder for it, and a lot of my teammates can deal heavy damage to it. +2 Diggersby OHKO's, +2 Garchomp deals a lot, Gyarados +1 Bounce can weaken it to the point where Diance's Earth Power can knock it out. Chomp is a more valuable player than Mamo tbh as it can hit stuff harder and gets up rocks more reliably, and Mamo is more likelier to die which means trying to Knock Off a Ferrothorn (unlike Skarm which is easy to deal with) would get me hurt by Iron Barbs and I'd lose my sash so I potentially couldn't get up rocks. HP Fire could work on Diancie but with the way the team is structured right now only Shed Shell could cause potential loopholes, but other mons cover those loopholes so it all works fine as it is tbh. Didn't know about that for Latios though ty :] I hope you liked my shout-out btw heh.

    Hey Emvee, nice team.

From a glance, the following pokemon appear to be threatening to your team: RP Mega Metagross, DD EQ Mega Altaria, CB Azumarill, SD Bisharp, opposing RP Mega Diancie, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Aerodactyl. With that being said, since your team is constructed offensively and you have the ability to maneuver around threats, keep hazards off the field, and have the upper-hand with momentum, these may not be consistently problematic to you. With that being said, there is still a potential change or two that can help strengthen your team against some of these threats.

I think the most important change has to be the Garchomp set. While I understand that Sash Lead SR Chomp can get tempo going early, I think a different variant of SR Chomp would be a bit more beneficial for the team, Rocky Helmet SR Garchomp. Not only does this allow you to weaken down pokemon like Mega Metagross, Mega Lopunny, Azumarill, Bisharp, Scizor, and others easily (doing about 1/3 damage every time they contact you, even with the weakest of attacks), but it also synergizes well with pokemon like Diggersby, Diancie, and Gyarados who all appreciate the chip damage that Chomp gives as they need things weakened to eventually sweep.

In regards to the set, there are two options that I say stand out: an offensive and a tanky variant. The former would simply involve switching Focus Sash out for Rocky Helmet and possibly using Fire Blast over Swords Dance (this helps with the rare Shed Shell Skarm, too) while the latter would involve changing up the spread and a couple moves. If you are to go with the latter, here is an optimal FatChomp set:
    Garchomp (M) @ Rocky Helmet
    Trait: Rough Skin
    EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Spd
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Earthquake
    - Fire Blast
    - Dragon Tail

I know this seems strange for a HO team, but it doesn't cost you any momentum as Dragon Tail helps throw off opposing momentum and it a solid pivot into physical attacks itself, so you don't lose much when changing Garchomp to this variant, in my opinion. To display it's bulk, here are some calcs:
    252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Metagross Meteor Mash vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Garchomp: 174-205 (41.4 - 48.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
    252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Garchomp: 179-212 (42.6 - 50.4%) -- 1.2% chance to 2HKO
    252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Garchomp: 149-177 (35.4 - 42.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
    252 Atk Mega Lopunny Ice Punch vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Garchomp: 276-328 (65.7 - 78%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
    252 Atk Mega Lopunny High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Garchomp: 180-213 (42.8 - 50.7%) -- 2.3% chance to 2HKO
    252+ Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Garchomp: 192-226 (45.7 - 53.8%) -- 42.2% chance to 2HKO
    252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Garchomp: 99-117 (23.5 - 27.8%) -- 80.2% chance to 4HKO
Fire Blast still does necessary damage to things like Skarmory despite -SAtk nature, dragon tail is cool with phasing on this set (it forces a lot of physical attackers up), sr is there as it's pretty mandatory ofc, eq is ground stab, etc. The speed lets you outpace +speed Breloom/Bisharp, 0 speed Mega Latias, all adamant Gyarados, all non-mega evolved Metagross, and standard bulky DD Zard-x (by 1).

If you elect to use the more offensive version of Garchomp instead of this and you don't use fire blast, I advise using either Knock Off as a main-slash or Fire Punch on Diggersby for otherwise problematic Shed Shell Skarm (or Shed Shell steels in general).

Solid team, nice offensive synergy, and grats on the peak!

First off I believe you forgot to give a shout out to someone ;]

Anyways moving on to the team.
I really like the synergy of this team and I think that Memento Latios is quite nice and fits well on the team.

I think @Finchinator covered most of the weaknesses this team has and knowing you I'm sure you can play around them. (Otherwise you wouldn't have gotten #1)
Gratz on the peak and nice team friend :]
