General + Solid base 120 stats across the board + Ground Arceus has 2 strong STABs in Earthquake and Judgment making it very versatile: it can be a physical sweeper, supporter or special sweeper + Ground STAB is one of the best around, hitting 5 types super effectively + Immunity to Electric moves and great bulk makes it a great check to Zekrom + The new OR/AS metagame is much kinder to Ground Arceus: Primal Groudon is everywhere, while Scarf Kyogre is much rarer - Lacks resistances - Weak to common Water and Ice moves - 120 Attacking stats aren't that impressive by Ubers standards Swords Dance Arceus @ Earth Plate Trait: Multitype EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Sped Jolly nature (+Spd -SAtk) Swords Dance Earthquake Stone Edge Recover / Substitute Boost with Swords Dance and then sweep Earthquake serves as the STAB move; Stone Edge forms the EdgeQuake combination with it, hitting everything you'd usually see in Ubers for neutral damage Recover keeps Arceus alive and healthy for longer, thus making it harder to revenge kill. Unlike Extremekiller Arceus, EdgeQuake gives Ground Arceus all the coverage it needs, meaning it can easily fit it in. You could also use Substitute to evade status and beat Giratina that use Dragon Tail to phaze EVs let Arceus outrun max speed 110s, with Attack maximised for optimum power. The rest is in HP for bulk. If you choose to run Substitute, run a spread of 96 HP / 236 Atk / 176 Spd so you can make 101 HP Substitutes Spoiler: Team Options Teammates who can switch into the Water, Ice and Grass type attacks Ground Arceus is weak to are recommended: Primal Kyogre can handle the former 2 and also appreciates having Primal Groudon gone. Kyurem-W resists Water and Grass moves, and can take out Giratina and Lugia who cause trouble for this set. Geomancy Xerneas can form a good dual sweeper core with Ground Arceus, with Arceus able to take out Ho-Oh, Blissey, and Aegislash while Xerneas can remove Giratina and Lugia. While it doesn't resist any of Ground Arceus's weaknesses, Blissey has enough Special bulk to take all but the most powerful special attacks. Support Arceus @ Earth Plate Trait: Multitype EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 Spd Bold Nature (+Def -Atk) Recover Judgment Defog / Roar Will-O-Wisp / Toxic / Ice Beam Primal Groudon has become one of those Pokémon that you simply must bring a check for. With the listed spread, Arceus can come in on an unboosted Primal Groudon with no fear of a 2HKO, outrun and do massive damage with Judment. It can even endure a +2 Precipice Blades if no hazards are down. This set can not only counter Primal Groudon, it can check other physical attackers like Zekrom, Blaziken, physical Rayquaza and Extremekiller Arceus if it's running Roar and/or Will-O-Wisp Ground Arceus also won't have to worry about being trapped by Mega Gengar thanks to its Ground type Judgment Recover is standard on any support Arceus forme to keep it alive and healthy for as long as possible Judgment is chosen as the STAB instead of Earthquake, as the 2 main targets of this set (Primal Groudon and Zekrom) both have lower Special Defense. In the next slot, either Defog or Roar can be used to clear hazards and prevent Arceus being set up on respectively. Ground Arceus is a good Defogger, as it resists Stealth Rock Finally, choose either Will-O-Wisp or Toxic depending on whether you'd prefer to cripple physical attackers or walls. On the other hand, you could run Ice Beam to OHKO Rayquaza and Mega Salamence The EVs maximise overall bulk with enough Speed to outrun max Speed neutral natured base 95s. The rest is in Defense for better physical bulk. As the Water, Ice and Grass moves seen in Ubers are usually Special, a physically defensive spread is more efficient Spoiler: Team Options This set is pretty self sufficient, so it doesn't really need much in return from its teammates. Pokémon that appreciate the removal of Primal Groudon and Zekrom enjoy having this set around, such as Primal Kyogre, Ho-Oh and in the case of the former, Xerneas. This set is walled pretty easily due to its lack of power, so it fits better on more defensive teams. If you lack Roar, make sure you bring a check to Geomancy Xerneas - Mega Scizor and Aegislash are good candidates for that. Calm Mind Arceus @ Earth Plate Trait: Multitype EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd -Atk) Calm Mind Judgment Ice Beam Recover Another way you can sweep with Ground Arceus. While this set is slower to get going than the Swords Dance set, it is harder to revenge kill and isn't crippled by burns Calm Mind improves Arcues's power and bulk, enabling it to sweep Judgment serves as Arceus's STAB move. Ice Beam gets superb coverage with it. The huge super effective coverage this set gets is Ground's niche over other Arceus formes as a Special Sweeper: Judgment and Ice Beam hit 9 types for super effective damage, as well as hitting everything you'd normally see in Ubers at least neutrally Recover keeps Arceus alive longer, allowing it to bag more boosts and set up on weaker opponents The EVs maximise overall bulk while giving Arceus enough Speed to outrun max Speed 110s. The rest is in Defence for extra physical bulk; as Calm Mind boosts Special Attack and Special Defence they don't need investment Spoiler: Team Options Ho-Oh and Blissey can wall this set, while Primal Kyogre can take anything it has and wreck Arceus with Origin Pulse. Zekrom can handle all 3 of those Pokémon, although it has to be careful switching into all of them for fear of Sacred Fire burns, Toxic and Ice Beam respectively. Primal Groudon can also demolish those Pokémon, as well as set up Stealth Rock - it can also form a double sweeper core with both Pokémon taking out each other's checks. Choice Band Ho-Oh can remove Blissey and other support Arceus formes easily enough; it also X4 resists Grass moves and has good enough Special Defense to take Special Ice moves well enough. In return, Ground Arceus is immune to Electric moves and resists Rock ones. Other Options You could run Extreme Speed on the Swords Dance set to pick off heavily weakened opponents. If you do that, run a spread of 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd as without Recover the bulk is unnecessary Ancient Power could be used on the Calm Mind set to OHKO Ho-Oh after a boost and if Arceus gets the boost it becomes nigh unstoppable. But Ice Beam is generally a better option for its superior power and PP Thunder Wave could be used on the Support set, but generally Toxic and Will-O-Wisp are more useful Substitute could be run instead of Recover on the Calm Mind set, although it will be worn down quickly without Wish support Likewise, Will-O-Wisp or Refresh could be used on the Calm Mind set to cripple physical attackers and cure status respectively, but mono attacker sets are better run by Dark, Steel and Fairy Arceus, as nothing is immune to their STABs Ground Arceus can set up Stealth Rock, but it would rather be sweeping or supporting Checks and Counters Grass Arceus walls the Swords Dance and support sets while doing massive damage with Grass Knot. It can beat the Calm Mind set if it hasn't bagged any boosts when it comes in Giratina can easily take a +2 Earthquake and cripple Ground Arceus with Will-O-Wisp. It also walls the Support set and can phaze the Calm Mind set out before it has enough boosts to 2HKO Giratina Ho-Oh walls the Calm Mind set, but Stone Edge will OHKO and the support set can stall it out with Toxic and Recover If its multiscale is still intact, Lugia can cripple Ground Arceus with Toxic while taking little damage. It can also phaze it out with Whirlwind if it tries to get greedy with boosts, but it will hate Toxic Blissey walls the Calm Mind and Support sets and can heal itself of status by simply switching out Skarmory walls the Swords Dance and support sets, but a +1 Ice Beam will 2HKO after Stealth Rock Kyurem-W and Primal Kyogre smash the Support set with their super effective STABs, but both are OHKOed by the Swords Dance set most of the time at +2, if they haven't invested in bulk. Kyurem-W also loses to the Calm Mind set if it's bagged a boost before it comes in
I think 80 HP/252 Atk/176 Speed is better, becuase you get some added bulk, while still having the ability to outspeed Lati@s and Gengar (And hopefully OHKO it Stone Edge, before it can Mega Evolve). Substitute is a nice alternative to Recover as it can help against stuff like Lugia, WallCeus and those rare (or very rare) Quagsire's. If you don't fear Lati@s and/or Gengar then you can opt for Adamant nature with EV spread of 44 HP/252 Atk/212 Speed, this way you get some more power while having the ability to outspeed postive natured base 100 mons. You can migrate 4 EV's from HP to Sp.Def so the extremely rare Genesect gets Atk boost. Imo you should use 252 HP/80 Def/176 speed on CMCeus (because you are still 2HKO'd by +2 LO EKA), this allows you outspeed Lati@s and Gengar. I'd also put 0 Atl IV's, so you take slightly less damage from Foul Play. Ancient Power while somewhat gimmicky can be used to beat Ho-Oh, and if you get the boost from Ancient Power, then Groundceus can be very hard to beat.
hey i dont mean to disrespect your work or anything but honestly the wiki is long dead and there is no reason to continue wasting time making analyses =/
