    No Similarity Tournament
An ORAS OU tournament in which 2 or more pokemon cannot share the same type, with a few exceptions.

    *Rules*

    • ORAS OU tier.
    • Standard clauses apply.
    • Best of one match
    • Each pokemon in the team cannot share a type with another pokemon. (E.g. Landorus-T cannot be on the same team as Talonflame as they are both flying type).
    • If the pokemon changes type through mega-evolution, then type taken into account would be pre mega form. For example, if Mega Charizard-X is used, then another dragon type pokemon can still be used on the team since Charizard was Fire/Flying pre mega. However, a flying type pokemon cannot be used due to this.
    • One and half week sign ups.
    • 1st round will have a 2 week deadline, rounds following will then be a 1 week deadline.

Seems somewhat interesting but I honestly don't think it's all that much of a restriction. Seems to be a minor inconvenience more than anything you can be creative with. I'll ask people what they think.

I think you can be creative enough with this and it's pretty interesting so I'll approve 1/3

I had thought about putting this restriction in another tour previously, but a plain OU is okay, interesting.
I would ask for teams, to prevent a fallacy by accident, but that is up to you.
    Approve 2/3

If someone makes an illegal team then that's on them I guess. Sending in teams usually makes people not end up playing (see F. Espeon's NEU Tour). But that's a minor detail.
    Approve 3/3
