Nbz has started this alphabet challenge on his youtube channel, anticipating Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. Basically he tries to win a pokemon battle with a team consisting of mons starting with the same letter. I've decided to try it as well because it sounded fun. Here is my progress so far http://pastebin.com/FfVyu0JP
Surprisingly I barely lost a battle so far.

I probably won't be able to complete this since some letters are plain impossible anyway :P

I will actually provide you guys with my thoughts of the battle if you so desire.
    A team

This nigga forfeited real quick because he couldn't handle the dual regen core. Anyway I feel like he still coulda won so I got another battle. This guy forfeits too, but I think my win was inevitable here.

He tries to predict my amoonguss switch on turn one but nope, so I get free rocks. Unfortunately RP Aurorus wasn't able to do much since he had a Scizor and Thundy. Later on my Aerodactyl was able to break through paralysis to kill Thundy otherwise it could've been nasty. I'm able to Taunt Scizor and burn him, effectively winning me the game. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to win 2 OU games in a row, since this is far from a standard team and the only standard mon I had was Azumarill.

    B team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-172161506
This was a really gimmicky Trick Room team I made. Breloom, Bisharp, Braviary and Beedrill aren't the fastest mons so I decided to take advantage of that. I overpredict early with Breloom and Spore so he got up more layers of Spikes because of that :[. I also overpredicht against the Togekiss because I thought he wanted to have that as sleep fodder + I miss Rock Tomb on it. I then get to set up TR with Bronzong and get a kill with Beedrill \o/. At the end I barely live a tbolt from Manectric to set up TR and clutch it with Breloom da mvp. I'm 3 for 3 now to my surprise.

    C team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-172521894
C has a lot of good mons so I wasn't worried here. He sacks his Smeargle turn one which I was really happy with. I also sack my Zard X early but he's a tryhard mon anyway. Clef is da mvp, doing a great job of holding Medicham back. I did lose once or twice with this team xD

    D team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-173215016
Decided to try out Diancie and Dedenne since I haven't had much experience with these two fairies yet. I used CB Diggersby and Dragonite for ultimate firepower. He forgets Mamoswine is faster than Niggersby which is awesome. At turn 8 he gets me with a well timed HP Fire, kudos to you my friend. I actually though he had HP Ice since that is what my Ditto has, haha. At the end my opponent activated Dedenne's Petaya Berry and doing what any smart individual would: run away. In all seriousness Talon had only one switch in and Diggersby KOd Venu and Rotom.

    E team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-174537313
With my E team I face a birdspeam team with ferro, rotom and latias. Luckily I brought Emolga, the flying resist! Now turn 1 he sets up SR when I clearly have an Espeon chilling in the back, so idk what that was about but yeah. He makes that mistake a second time when the Twaves, but I am unable to pass my sub to Entei :[. I was also dissapointed his Latias never knocked Empoleon into Petaya range, I didn't even care about that freeze. Also the reason I Hydro Pumped Donphan (and missed) was because I was paranoid of him being some AV shit and doing only 40% from unstab Ice Beam or something. That was probably a misplay on my part though. Luckily all is well because Emolga can scare out Mega Pinsir and set up a nice Tailwind for Exca to win the game.

    F team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-174549503
Here I am silly and forget about Magic Coat so he can set up his SR. I didn't care about Sticky Web though, since my grounded mons were pretty slow anyway. I am also able to set up a crucial Spike. This Spike made it so Raikou and Heracross were worn down enough for king Flygon to sweep his team, resulating in a salty "ok" from my opponent. Also Fletchinder sucks.

    G team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-174911079
Since my two previous teams were pretty gimmicky and I still managed no losses with them, I was pretty confident with this more standard one. But when I saw all that pink on my opponent's team I was just ready to give up and lose lol. Luckily some nice predictions (ferro switch on chomp and ttar on garde) and an unusual Goodra set got me the victory. This was a pretty good battle imo.

    H Team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-174919703
Glad I get to use my favourite pokemon here :] I get popped by a scarf Keldeo at turn 1, because I always run specs on those and didn't expect it. Shame because scarf Hydreigon could've done work on his team. He makes a crucial error by letting Heracross set up and losing his Skarmory, which gives him a total of zero switch-ins to this monster. Now he is free to go for Surf with his Latios since it KOs all my mons anyway lol, so rip Heatran didn't do anything either. Now I thought he would realise how important Latios was for him, so I overpredict and go for sub with Honch :[. I make a nice return play to get him back to decent health though. Now he gives me a free switch into Hera, who can claim a victim of my opponent's choosing. At turn 16 I hax my opponent by dodging a Hydro Pump, but what can you do maybe he should've gone for Scald ^.^ I predict his swith to ttar at the end, winning me the game with mvp Heracross.

    I team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-181733575
This is basically one of those impossible teams I was talking about, so I had to search an opponent in the lower regions of the ladder. All my other matches were done above 1400 ranking, I think I even got close to 1500 after the H team. Basically Ivysaur does a good job of leech seeding this guy's team and Igglybuff kills a Garchomp. (showdown doesn't let you choose your Unown form :[)

    J team
This is another team where my choice of mons was very limited. I found out at the last second that Joltik can't learn Sticky Web, which ruined my dreams forever.
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-182432865
Here is my first match where I lost but you can kinda see how the "team" "functions" here. And you'll cry at the last few turns.
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-182437171
Here I beat a rain team with my 6 retarded mons. I know I haxed him and he's a retard but still. Enjoy.

    K team
    http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-182769553
This team was harder to win with than I initially suspected. Since it uses things more standard to the OU ladder my opponents could more easily anticipate my team. I lost twice and won twice to dudes who forfeited very early. My fifth match was a complete one and it easily illustrates what the team wants to do. Set up hazards and sweep in rain. Luckily I could pick off Ferrothorn with HP Fire Kadabra haha.

I actually managed a win with the I and J teams. I also updated the op with my thoughts on the battles.
