    Introduction
In every generation, there's usually a few duds in the family that are completely laughable in the metagame, whether it be because it's outclassed, has horrible typing, has a bad movepool, has mediocre stats, or is some combination of all of this. However, how would things go if we were forced to use them? This is exactly what this tournament accomplishes, forcing the use of overlooked Pokemon to see who really comes out on top. Are you excited?

    Format
Due to the restrictions on Pokemon (going to be two slots, 10 Pokemon to choose from), this tournament will be played in XY NU/ORAS NU (depends on when this tournament starts). The typical clauses will apply, the only additional restriction being having to use a mediocre Pokemon (we'll be going with below 2% for this tournament). Bring some spotlight to these overlooked Pokemon!

    Rules
-Tier: XY NU (Sleep, Species, Wifi, Self-KO Clauses)
-Round 1 lasts two weeks total. Every following round will last 1 week.
-Two Pokemon on each team must stem from the Pokemon chosen for that round, chosen by a randomizer.
-Logs must be sent after each battle in order for me to check for team legality.

    Current Sign-Ups
None so far! 16 spots remain! (open to 32 if enough sign-ups come)

Hi. The response time on this was rather bad and I'm sorry for that.
I am not the biggest fan of the points system, nor the round robin system. The point system imo adds a level of complexity and not a lot else. It's not like people will be reluctant to use the 2 Pokémon they put in their team to the point that they need this point system as encouragement to do so. Also it's hazy in that, if a Pokémon dies from Tspikes poison or spikes on incoming is that a kill for the hazard setter or the Pokémon currently active. These things, imo, just make the point system something you don't need to do.

I'd much prefer either this same restriction with a standard format. Or an "NEU" tournament.

So in regards to this tour, you'd be OK with it if the round robin round and point system was done away with. That's the jist of your post, yes?

Unless another TD raises some points I didn't think of. Yes. More or less.

The point system could get very confusing and hard to handle so I would say do away with it, but keep your general restriction (NU with one mon under 2%). With this out, there isn't really a point to using Round-Robin either so yeah.

With those changes I would accept.

This to me just sounds like an overcomplicated version of my Battle of the Derp I hosted a while back.
I say definitely get rid of the faff with the round robin and points system; it overcomplicates.

I'll edit it out ASAP (hard cause on phone atm), but consider it done. Now it's just a 16/32-man tour with a randomized 10 Pokemon below the 2% point, with 2 having to be used.

EDIT: Got it on the first try, OP now edited. Point system and round robin gone.
