This tournament is actually the revisit of the Pokemon Online Battle Revolution's Waterfall Colosseum. The theme for that venue is actually called "Team Battles". This theme makes players pick five out of the six Pokemon in the current party, and individually faces them off in elimination one-on-one fights against the five Pokemon. This means, players cannot switch out their Pokemon, and knocking out the opponent's Pokemon earns a point. Then, the second Pokemon the player picked goes up against the opponent’s second Pokemon, and so on. The player with at least three points out of the five possible battles wins.

    MECHANICS:

    1. This tournament will be played in the XY 1v1 tier with Species Clause, Wifi Clause, and Self-KO Clause on. Standard XY OU banlist shall be strictly followed.
    2. Players are allowed to use only one team per round. This means you should have only one team file present, not five different team files.
    3. The players' Pokemon in their team are allowed to play only once. For every subsequent battle a different Pokemon from the same team must be used.
    4. Players will play at most five XY 1v1 battles. Players with three wins in these battles will advance to the next round.

    NOTES:
    > Match-ups will be made at davidpeter.me
    > Sign-ups will last for 1 week or once 64 players has been reached, whichever is faster
    > Round 1 will initially last for 10 days but will have a 4-day extension on a case-to-case basis; succeeding rounds will last for 1 week only.
    > Two days will be allotted at the beginning of each round to send their importables of the team. Late submissions will still be accepted, but will be publicly shamed. Sending the importables will have a higher chance of an activity win.

I'm not a massive fan of the format. It would seem to make getting battles done an arduous task at best. Also the requirement of an importable is an extra layer of shit to do for the participant.
For the reason that the format seems long and arduous and can easily be what is essentially 5 coin-flips.

Pretty much the same reasons as Weavile.

Also, the name of this tour is unnecessarily long and complex.

    Rejected (2/2)
