let's go for no comments again

    General:
    · sOoooO SpooOooOoky
    · arguably the best arceus form last gen, fallen from grace
    · thanks yveltal
    · bulkier metagame with a lot of toxic’s flying around doesn’t do it favors either
    · Defog has greatly reduced its niche as a spinblocker but tentacruel and excadrill are still seen from time to time and unlike in gen 5, ghostceus has the element of surprise now.
    · ghost type buff is some good news at last
    · unlike other arceus it can run very viable physical and special sets

    sd
    Arceus (Arceus-Ghost) @ Spooky Plate
    Trait: Multitype
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance
    - Shadow Force
    - Brick Break
    - Shadow Claw / Extreme Speed

    • only a handful or arceus formes can run a legit sd set and this is one of them
    • boosted shadow force does insane amounts of damage
    • brick break gives you perfect coverage but it’s really pretty weak
    • shadow claw makes sure your opponent can’t play around shadow force
    • extreme speed is useful as priority to pick off weakened scarfers, but without stab it’s weak
    • DO NOT PLAY WITH THIS LIKE A GHOST TYPE EKILLER
    • It works splendidly on sticky web teams. You can afford to run adamant on these teams which makes it even scarier

    cm
    Arceus (Arceus-Ghost) @ Spooky Plate
    Trait: Multitype
    EVs: 248 HP / 8 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Calm Mind
    - Judgment
    - Recover
    - Will-O-Wisp / Thunder / Focus Blast

    • CM is always good on Arceus, simultaneously increasing its power and its special bulk.
    • Good typing for a mono-attacker with 2 uncommon weaknesses Dark and Ghost
    • WoW cuts the opponent’s attack in half and works great in tandem with CM. Gets bonus points for fucking up Sucker Punch.
    • Thunder can be used to surprise arch-nemesis Yveltal while doing a decent chunk to Ho-Oh as well
    • Focus Blast can be used to hit Normal-types, Tyranitar, and some Steel types harder
    • Next to sweeping, it can fulfill some defensive duties like checking all forms of Mewtwo and ekiller
    • Keep it away from status

    defensive
    Arceus (Arceus-Ghost) @ Spooky Plate
    Trait: Multitype
    EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Judgment
    - Recover
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Defog

    • boring defogceus
    • one of the best universal mewtwo checks by completely shitting on mewtwo x and not outright losing to mewtwo y
    • good ekiller check with wow
    • can’t be trapped by mega gengar which is also a huuuge plus
    • no useful resistances
    • idk what else to put here
    • speed evs to outspeed palkia

    Other options
    • Throwback anti lead set
    • Subcm used to be cool might still work
    • Stone edge to fuck up ho-oh and hurt yveltal as well
    • Refresh maybe but ghost kinda blows as a mono-attacker
    • Twave if you feel Mexican. It gets toxic too if you feel like using that but I personally wouldn’t know why
    • Fire move coverage in flamethrower/fblast but it’s become redundant this gen

    C&c

    • Yveltal yveltal yveltal
    • Darkrai sucks too but it should be a little careful about switching in
    • Cm ghostceus has a tough time breaking through dedicated special walls with toxic or a phasing move like spdef kyogre who can phase it out over and over or blissey
    • Status in general blows, all of them
    • Sd ghostceus hits hard as shit but def groudon can take a hit and phase it out
    • Ho-oh doesn’t care much about cm ghostceus and can burn sd variants but can’t take it on when boosted

I don't see anything wrong with it bar a few minor nitpicks.

Firstly, I think you are slightly underestimating a capacity for spinblocking.
Defog exists, but many stall teams still opt to run Rapid Spin in order to prevent getting rid of their own hazards(like your newest RMT team :p), and GhostCeus is a great spinblocker to use on Offense as it's decently bulky, can potentially break walls with SD, and not be a deadstop to momentum like Giratina forms.

This effect is furthered by the fact that many offense don't even choose to run a ghost type nowadays, and most opponents will generally just attempt to rapid spin ASAP, giving you a free switch-in.
Maybe you could mention these facts?

Second, maybe mention Kyogre in the Thunder option you listed for CM? It can hit Spdef Ogres harder, and will generally be more reliable than Judgement against Specs/Scarf sets.

Great skeleton and sorry for being late :\

yeah this pretty much has no errors.

adding onto what Ramiel said, maybe mention it being able to come in on Excadrill / Tentacruel if they try spinning? Even though spinning is nowhere as near as popular as it was in 5th gen, there are still a few teams out there with it.

    Approved. (1/3)

yeah i might have been a little too hard on its spin blocking abilities so i'll change it and maybe expand on it with some of the stuff ramiel said in the write-up phase
