I was just thinking about it, and I would like to know which Pokemon you guys think is the most over rated. I think Blaziken and Scizor are over rated to be honest, what do you guys think?
I'd say Extreme Killer Arceus. Yes, a STAB +2 Priority move is great but Normal typing sucks defensively and offensively, with no resistances at all and nothing is hit super effectively by Normal moves (unless you're playing Inverse). Also, 120 base Attack isn't that high in Ubers, and Extreme Speed only has 80 BP, so in terms of power it's lacking. As physical sweepers go, I've had better results with Bulk Up Mewtwo X and Rock Polish Groudon. In terms of Swords Dance Arceus formes, I prefer Ground for its much better STAB and the fact that it actually has space for Recover. Extreme Killer really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Eevee. I could have looked at this from a competitive standpoint, but Eevee is simply just too hyped for something of so little worth. It really isn't that cute, and every one of it's evolutions looks and performs better. Eevee is basically a small brown stain on the face of Pokemon.
I dont get why everyone likes dunsparce. Maybe everyone is just being sarcastic and im not in on it. Personally I think its useless, like a lot of johto pokemon
Charizard... It got 2 megas instead of 1 and everyone uses it! Honestly it's not all that great, rocks cripple it and Talonflame does its sweep work better!
Talonflame is kinda ass imo Get them rocks up and fuck the birds Sure a priority brave bird is nice n stuff but its attack is low and its typing is horrible most people run CB or SD but still
Charizard, Talonflame, Garchomp etc. Garchomp. Legitimately strong, but the 4X weakness to Ice means that Ice Shard, or a fast Special Attacker using HP Ice or any Ice type move will ruin its day.
Charizard. Seriously. Just because you get something for the first time doesn't make it powerful. Oh and also,
Charizard/Talonflame/Scizor. All overrated to Narnia and back for reasons highlighted above. Rocks destroy the first two (not to mention Charizard has way too much nostalgia protection) and Scizor gets walled by so much these days.
First time i saw scizor and i was like dude this is gonna have at least 100 speed but its turtle speed really makes it easy to counter putting up anything fire and its bullet punch goes poof(mind those rocks) As with charizard and talonflame rocks murder them real good When meg charizard was out i use to see a lot of them but common sense dug into people just as those rocks dug into charizard and there not as much as there used to be
Talonflame of course, it has a 4x weakness to SR and a limited movepool that makes it extremely predictable, and of top of that his 2 main attacks (flare blitz and brave bird) cause a lot of recoil unless you opt to run acrobatics, Talonflame is only used for the cheap priority
Two Overrated Pokemon. Look at the move's types, and the HP! Too much to handle for the poor nidoran! And then this That 6 armed machamp is going to break that dugtrio.
No one's being sarcastic, Dunsparce can be useful in the lower tiers as it has access to Coil: one of the best set-up moves in the game, Roost: One of the best healing moves ever, plus it has Serene Grace and can learn Rock Slide and Zen Headbutt, when paired with King's Rock it has a high chance to flinch.
At the moment in ORAS Ubers. I say Primal Groudon. I think I see it like 90% of battles. So I have my team prepaired for it since it's very bulky to take down.
I have 2. First one: Charizard. Way overused, Has 2 megas, Doesn't even look cool at all. Second one: Eevee. Not cute at all (IMO),Has way to many evolutions, Looks like a F****** squirrel with more fur.
