Hello !ThunderStruck! Here, I have been thinking that some Pokemon got the short end if the stick in X/Y... Like Raichu, Claydol, Typhlosion and many many others... Sure they might be great but, some people just wish they could be a little bit better... Which Pokemon would you like to see come out of the shadow?
You'd think they would be, but it's still hard to say. If they buff them in some kind of way that isn't giving them a not-so-shitty ability (ie. they still have truant/slow start) then it's highly unlikely that they'll become so powerful as to be an issue, given that truant and slow start are massive hindrances. But then, that's not really what we're talking about here is it? If they give them abilities that aren't such a massive hindrance, then you still have to consider that their typing is rubbish, and you never know, that may still ensure they are balanced. That said, it's not as though they lack coverage the way Kyu-B does in terms of physical attacks, and they don't have weaknesses to bullet punch and stealth rock holding them back, which means their fantastic bulk is more relevant, so who knows.
My idea of who needs boosting is my profile pokemon, Raichu. Sure he got a speed boost in X and Y but, is that really enough? I think it's not... The speed boost is awesome but, he really has nothing else to back it up! I don't know what to give him but, I would think it's a really good idea to give him electric priority. Why? I say because he is the evolution of the mascot Pikachu, and that electric priority has never been seen before so, for Game Freak it would be worth to try it out.
That would be an interesting idea. I'd make a Mega Raichu with better Speed, better Special Attack, No Guard and part Fighting typing. Nasty Plot, perfectly accurate STAB Thunder and Focus Blast. Move over Thundurus-T.
That would be fucking amazing!! (Sorry for the cussing) that is a really great idea... only if Raichu could learn dynamic punch
I think Tropius could use a boost. It's just a shame that such a cool design goes to waste. Give it better stats and a wider movepool and it could get bumped up a few tiers.
As I said, a stat boost would be nice, specifically in the Speed department. Chlorophyll doubles it's speed in Sun, but if Sun isn't in play it's useless. It has the movepool to play as a tank with Synthesis, Leech Seed and Toxic, so better defenses would be a good option too.
Tropius @ Tropiusite Trait: Thick Fat - Banana Meteor (Grass type Boomburst) - Hurricane - HP Ground - Synthesis HP: 99 -> 99 Atk: 68 -> 78 Def: 83 -> 103 SAtk: 72 -> 142 SDef: 87 -> 107 Spd: 51 -> 31
Blastoise needs to get Shell Smash Quagsire needs Stealth Rock Mega Ledian y/y? And Ferrothorn should get Rapid Spin
I really hope they do something with Flygon, whether its a mega or just giving it a move to boost with (Dragon Dance maybe?)
I like your approach to Dragon Dance, everyone thinks Flygon should be Dragon/Bug but we've got one problem... No bug type moves at all... What good is a pokemon without STAB? No good... Flygon is already a fast pokemon in its metagame and with Dragon Dance it might be able to get bumped up in the OU metagame. Good work Genesis.
Well U-turn STAB isn't bad, but I see what your saying. I doubt even a Dragon/Bug Flygon would get Megahorn.
When you discuss the dragon types which pokemon do you leave out? The Humming pokemon Altaria...It's not bad, but it's not good... I feel like the ability Regenerator will make this pokemon better... With a stat total of 490 Altaria with Regenerator will be a whole lot better.
Zoroark needs a mega, with sp atk and spd as it's stat boosts. Skarmory needs a pre-evo so It can be abused with eviolite for entry hazards. Hydreigon NEEDS Dragon Dance. Zangoose also needs a mega, and a slight boost of its speed and atk. I'm either thinking on make it have adaptability, or make it remain with toxic boost. Mega Kingdra with Multiscale won't fit bad, it would give it another usage rather than sticking into rain teams, it would increase Kingdra's usage. Magnezone should have levitate (Give it some thought, like damn) Meloetta would be even more useful with Magic Bounce than with Serene Grace. That's all I have for now.
Some Pokemon should keep their ability once they Mega Evolve, like Mega Ttar, Mega Abomasnow and Mega Scizor. I feel that Kabutops is one of them. If they give it Solid Rock it won't be better than what an SD Swift Swim Kabutops would be in Rain.
True. Also came to my mind, weavile doesn't really do anything useful with Pressure (It's not bulky at all for pp stall), and neither is doing anything with pick pocket. If weavile ever gets a mega...please make it have either Adaptability or Tough Claws.
Refrigerate would also be a cool ability for Weavile. Solrock and Lunatone have always been pokemon I found cool. But I have no idea how to buff them apart from giving them mega evolutions with better stats and abilities and maybe retyping.
Mega nido anyone? Attack-150 Defence-100 Sp attack-130 Sp defence-85 Speed-120 Ability-sheer force Any suggestions to make it better?
