Overview *Highest HP *High base 85 Special Defence, further complemented with its great HP stat. *Its high HP stat makes up for its mediocre base 40 Defence stat. *Great Attack stat *Thick Fat lets it take on Fire- and Ice-types like Ponyta and Snover. *Great coverage *Makes great use of Berry Juice + Recycle *Exploitable Fighting weakness *Slow Berry Juice Munchlax (F) @ Berry Juice Trait: Thick Fat EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Body Slam / Return - Recycle - Fire Punch / Pursuit - Earthquake / Pursuit / Curse / Whirlwind Set Comments *Never dies due to Recycle and Berry Juice combination. *Body Slam and Return are interchangeable and obligatory STAB. *Fire Punch hit Steel-types like Ferroseed *Earthquake does massive damage to Electric-types like Chinchou. Also hits Rock- and Fire-types such as Tirtough and Ponyta. *Pursuit can replace either Fire Punch or Earthquake as it hits Ghost-types like Misdreavus and Gastly. *Curse makes Munchlax incredibly hard to take down as it hits like a truck can can take physical hits easier. *Whirlwind phazes set-up sweepers and prevents it from being setup bait. *Cleric support from the like of Spritzee is appreciated. *Pokemon that can take care of Fighting-types are good partners, pokemon like Meditite *A Knock Off switch in is another good partner, as with Berry Juice gone Recycle will fail. Trubbish is a good example. RestTalk Munchlax (M) @ Eviolite Trait: Thick Fat EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Body Slam / Return - Fire Punch / Whirlwind / Curse - Rest - Sleep Talk Set Comments *With the change in sleep mechanics RestTalk became more viable. *Rest increases longevity. *Sleep Talk prevents it from being a sitting duck while sleeping. *Isn't as crippled by status. *Either Body Slam or Return as main STAB. *Fire Punch hits Steel types that resist its STAB. *Whirlwind phazes pokemon that are either immune to it STAB or resist it. *Also prevent it from being setup bait. *Curse makes a fantastic mono attacker that can pack a punch. *Again pokemon that can take on Fighting-types are good partners. *Cleric support is appreciated from Spritzee or Chinchou *Pokemon that can take care of Fire- and Rock-types take resist Fire Punch are needed. Like Chinchou *If running Whirlwind, hazard support is good to increase the passive damage dealt to opponent. *Eliminating Ghost-types should be a priority for Curse variants. Pokemon like Stunky and Pawniard are appreciated. Other Options *Ice Punch and Thunder Punch could be used to hit specific threats. *Belly Drum, with Trick Room support, can make Munchlax a deadly sweeper. *Pursuit to trap Ghost types like Gastly and Misdreavus. *Toxic to hit incoming walls, like Slowpoke. *Focus Punch or Brick Break could be used to catch Pawniard and Scraggy on the switch. *Self-Destruct *An uninvested Shadow Ball does a bit more damage than a fully invested Fire Punch. Could be used to check Will-O-Wisp variants of Misdreavus better. *Counter *Gunk Shot lets Munchlax 2HKO Spritzee. *Zen Headbutt hits Fighting types a bit harder. *Weather support *Choice Band *Outrage hits Dragon-types harder Checks and Counters *Defensive behemoths like Slowpoke and Porygon, can tank multiple assaults. *Misdreavus and Gastly walls variants with mono Normal coverage. *If Munchlax lacks Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp variants beat Munchlax. *Fighting-types like Mienfoo and Timburr beat Munchlax with a Fighting STAB. *If Munchlax lacks Fire Punch Steel types like Ferroseed wall it. *Without Earthquake, Tirtouga can use Munchlax as setup bait. *Eviolite Pawniard can tank a Earthquake can cripple Munchlax with Knock Off.
Mention Munchlax' high 85 Special Defense and also its low 40 Defense. Imo Curse should be slashed along with Earthquake and Pursuit in the Berry Juice set. Outrage deserves a mention in OO. Other than that this seems good. Nice work on this!
I think Outrage is completely useless myself, but I don't know what really qualifies for OO I would put Whirlwind for Fourth slash in BJuice set. Also when you write comments, make sure to note that Cleric support is extremely helpful with the first set and that Aromatherapy Spritzee makes an ideal partner.

Really don't think outrage needs a mention since it gets ice punch, spritzee is a bitch and dragons aren't common in the least bit. In CC you should just mention knock off (unless it gets banned obv) in general sucks for munchlax Otherwise you covered all your bases~
