This is just a very basic idea right now, if anything I'm looking for feedback. What I want to do eventually is create a Party Pack theme, that is have multiple themes crammed into one depending on size in order to keep players on their toes. How it would work is something like this: 4 - Vengeful 5 - Animals 6 - RO 7 - FF 8 - Kirby 9 - Trust 10 - Oracle And so on. If you guys like the idea, hate it, or know how to expand this, please let me know. I'm especially interested in QC opinions but I value all opinions.
Are those themes meant to be with their original skin or the roles would be reskinned to a common setting? If they are the original skin, it would be pointless. Why would people join a dumbed down version of a theme instead of playing the full version, and even worse, without even knowing which version they will play? There's also the issue that making a coherent /roles list would be close to impossible. IMO, it would be more productive to make a new ThemeWar.
hey JoeyPals, try look the critique session, to see more roles, it is a good idea to make, sorry, have some misterious roles.
I would make a rolelist Yentero but, as I said, it was a very basic idea. I got what I needed to from Rice, thank you both.
It's an odd concept but it could work well as an off-peak theme. Maybe do it up to 8 players and see how it is recieved? I agree that most players would rather select a theme when there are a lot of players though, hence keeping it to small games...
