First off, I had no idea what to title this, so that is what it is. So my simple, probably easy to implement suggestion is... Whenever Trick Room or Reflect/Light Screen is in effect, you have to check up through the log to see if they are or not. To help with this, we can make it like Stealth Rock, where it is shown when you Mouse Over a Pokémon. So basically, when Trick Room or Light Screen/Reflect is in effect, it come up here. Before anybody says something about information leakage etc., why not remove Stealth Rock, Spikes and Toxic Spikes appearing there too, as well as stats and their boosts/drops if you want to stay true to the game.
This has been suggested before. That does not mean that it's a bad suggestion. What it means is that other things take priority.
While I am fine with implementing the mention of Screens in that window, I'd just like to say that if the remaining turns were to be implemented for Reflect/Light Screen, it would be fine on your side; however, it may be unfair to your opponent if you find out that he is holding a Light Clay when he could be bluffing an item or vice versa. Similar case for Rain/Sun and to a (far) lesser extent Sand and Hail (who knows what reason someone wants to use Smooth Rock or Icy Rock).
You are correct, perhaps displaying the possible remaining turns? For example, after two turns it would show 3/6 remaining turns, so as not to give any extra information.
Or perhaps just saying that Light Screen etc is currently active? You can find out how many turns it has been by looking up in the log, and this method also prevents giving out information that the log wouldn't already give you, such as whether the Pokemon holds Light Clay before it is known.
i thought about mark box, it can be near the time left each player got. like: [ ] Light Screen [V] Reflect [ ] Stealth Rock [V] Layer Of Spikes (1) // [V] Layer of Spikes (2) // [V] Layer Of Spikes (3) [V] Toxic Spikes (1) // [V] Toxic Spikes (2) umm i don't really know where it should be placed, because it's too big, maybe you can make the battle window bigger, or just clicking "info" button (which opens a small window with info about both of the players - Light Screen, reflect, Entry Hazard, item tricked, item knocked off, item disabled, etc.
Or just show how many turns has passed since it was used... I think it is best to minimize the need to scroll up the log.
