Sure, how would you like to die? Burning to death? Stabbed to death? Impaled to death? Maybe squashed to death.
Running through the forest, we spot a lone figure facing a mighty demon by a vast chasm. That demon's a huge threat to everything in the area, so we're going to have to face it eventually- might as well be now! From my spot in the forest I summon a lightning bolt, which strikes the demon and causes a huge explosion. I immediately run from where I cast that spell, in anticipation of a counter-attack and in the hope that if I move quick enough it might not spot me moving about.
Your managed to piss him off. He decided to burn down the forest from which you shot your lightning bolt. Better get out quickly.
"Well, in that case, why not let me join your army? I know this land better than any demon you can find, plus, I am an excellent strategist. I'm sure you can find some uses for me."
You clearly underestimate my powers. You think I don't have people all over this place? You think I would just show up in some random place to take it over? No, that isn't what I would do. I planned this all out. I doubt you know this area better than I. Also, i don't need lowly humans to serve me when I have plenty of demons far stronger than you.
I have to stall a little longer. I saw the demon torch a forest earlier, perhaps someone is there and he's not just attacking randomly. I decide to raise my voice a bit, so people can hear me. "WELL, IF YOU'RE GOING TO KILL ME, AT LEAST TELL ME YOUR NAME?"
The army sets out, and after a while of matching, we spot a deep cavern filled with demons. A lone warrior is talking loudly to a large demon. The troops rush out into battle while I shoot my bow at the demon.
Suddenly, my ears detect a large group of people behind me. I slowly back up, raising my spear. "ONE LAST TIME, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE OF YOU PEACEFULLY RETURNING TO YOUR HOME?"

(21:33:32) +Beast: not whatever the fuck you posted Your previous post is no longer valid. Ugh, one of the "midboss" demons have arrived. I think the people are getting closer, so... I raise my spear. "Let's go."
whoops forgot this game existed "Hahahaha!! Take this!" The demon brings his head back, and suddenly lurches it forward, and you see a massive fireball come out of its mouth, hurling right towards you!
... Ihateyoustupidmarmalademuffin. I notice that the fireball is fizzing out as it travels through the air. By my estimates... I waste a precious second observing the fireball, and conclude that it will be about forty percent of its original size by the time it arrives. Additionally, due to the demon's aim being slightly off, the best way to dodge would be to the right. I run to the right, and wait for the impact.
Foolish mortal. Predictable like the rest of 'em. "GRAAAAAAH!!!" I expect the dodge and pounce towards where Marina is about to be.
I block his... claws? With my spear's shaft, and push him back. I follow up with a stab to his stomach.
"You imbecile! That was my brother! Prepare for a whole new world of hurt!" The new demon takes out a shiny golden trident and charges.
Tridents, eh? Made of gold...? That would make it quite a bit less usable than my spear, which is iron. Destroying the weapon could be more beneficial. I aim at the demon's trident, and thrust my spear forward.
CLANG!!! It turns out that the trident is made up of something much more durable, and that it was only a gold coating! Nonetheless, the sharp sound of impact drives the demon back, and seems to be stunned!
Demons don't like loud noises, huh... Well, I'm not going to pass this up. I stab the demon through the chest, and smash his head in with my hammer for good measure.
You hear a sickening *crunch* as the demon's skull is bashed into its brain. It did not even have a chance to say a word. The dead demon dropped 100 gold! You may also take its trident, which is made up of a mysterious metal you cannot identify, but seems to be quite deadly.
I see the lone survivor slaying demons so I decide to lay out and watch. He/she doesn't seem like he/she needs help.
Didn't mean to ignore you. A group of lesser demons come flying towards your group. They are picking off the men one by one. They turn their attention towards you.
"I see you got my cousin's demonglass blade. Unfortunately, I can't let you keep it. En guarde!" The demon lunges with a longsword that apparently seems to be made of the same metal. It seems to be of a much higher class than the other ones you have faced.
I said Beast you idiot. I block the sword with the shaft of my new trident, and kick the thing's stomach. As it reels backwards, I swing the trident's shaft at the head, and thrust the pointy end through the neck of the thing. Your move?
"GAAAAAAH!!!!" The head of the demon falls off the neck and rolls on the floor. The demon collapses and remains unconscious . . . for about 3 seconds. It suddenly jerks back up, swiftly grabs its head, and pops it back onto its neck. You see the demon's face instantly transform into one filled with a white-hot rage. "Now I'm mad. You've done it now. Prepare for VENGEANCE!!!" The demon spits a fireball fiercely on its blade. The steel of the sword catches on fire, seemingly enchanted. The demon lunges once again. also wow u r mean :(
No, you just suck. Hm, if both of our weapons are made of the same thing, then it should be safe to block with it. In fact, it might even be advantageous to get the tip burning. This time, I try to block in between the pointy things on the trident, which results in a burning trident. How ironic. In any case, I thrust him back, and stab his neck again, this time taking care to stomp on the head a bit. Also, maybe it's like a hydra-- burning the severed necks prevent more from coming back.
no u You see the demon's head disintegrate into ashes, but the battle is not over. You see in his chest, what used to be a line in his chest from a stab wound inflicted by you widened open, opening up into a third eye. The demon lunges once more.
I whip out my bow and shoot a shaft at the closest demon. I pick up one of the fallen warriors swords and rush into battle.
An eye on the chest should in theory open up several blind spots, especially behind. Plus, his orientation should be messed up, so it should be pretty easy to do that. Additionally, without a head, he loses one of the most important senses in combat-- hearing. Yes, he lost the weakness to strange noises, but if he can't hear which way I'm going, that's a big advantage. Losing a nose and a tongue isn't really as crippling, I think. He's jumping towards me, but the eye must make it really clumsy. I throw my knife at his eye, and roll underneath the big fellow, which I follow up with a stab through the chest. I sever his limbs, and whack his chest a little more with the trident to make sure he's absolutely dead, this time. What an annoying encounter.
