Here's is my theme chess Why is it different? It's based off the real game chess. I tried to make it as realistic as possible, so if the king is lynched, the side that lynched it wins. You also can't team-kill during the night. The king can inspect and hax kills, so it is the primary connector for its team. Sides Black and White Pastebin Spoiler http://pastebin.com/Kiftq3PE RAW: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=Kiftq3PE Priority Spoiler The pawns are 25 The bishops are 24 The rooks are 23 The castles are 22 The queen is 21 The king is 26 (inspect) Roles Spoiler Every Role can kill, but can't be killed by certain things. It's an interesting concept to say the least. The only problem I see is with the spawn list aka if that game has an odd number of people, black is always going to be at a disadvantage. Knights are not in the game which is :(. Also I feel like it would be cool if after like 6 nights the pawn could promote to a queen (since it takes that many turns at least in regular chess and pawns look useless late game which is the opposite in an actual game.) just some thoughts.
Im fixing the code right now. I will think about the pawn thing, and might actually add it. Edit: Look at the pastebin for the changes.
could you have a rock paper scissors relationship between the knight rook and bishop? ie the knight can kill the bishop but not the rook, the bishop can kill the rook but not the knight etc. This better mirrors their relationship in real chess. You might need a lone role to be used in uneven games (spawn list would be annoying tho). maybe a chessmaster who can kill and only be voted out?
