Well, as this used to be a regular XY OU team until Mega Kangaskhan got banned, which I honestly don't think was broken at all, but that's not why I'm here. This new tier now has accepted Mega Kangaskhan. ホルード (Diggersby) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Huge Power EVs: 188 HP / 252 Atk / 64 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Earthquake - Quick Attack - Return Ah, Diggersby. One of the most underrated Pokemon ever. It has proven its worth to me in many ways. It's a lead, sadly, probably not my best choice but it has worked out. It's one of those... early sweepers, I guess you could say. It's kind of like the Azumarill of the gen. Its EV spread is quite useful. It has 188 HP to live most things that aren't super effective, and resists things quite well. Here's the thing, Adamant Nature, Huge Power, Max Happiness, 252 Attack, Stab, and 1 SD will wreck many many things if it outspeeds. It's helped me through many battles. Swords Dance gives it that extra boost, Quick Attack for priority as it can OHKO many things after a SD, Return for it's most powerful stab move with Max Happiness, etc. And Earthquake for those pesky Aegislash and other things of the sort. It works quite well with Mega Kanga as back up. ゲッコウガ (Greninja) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Protean EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Grass Knot - Hidden Power [Fire] - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam Greninja, another very offensive pokemon who has very high potential. Its ability, Protean, gives it that extra little Stab boost before it actually attacks, which is very helpful. Especially for HP fire for those pesky Scizor, Genesect, etc. Speed is a necessity as it will get outsped by many other pokemon. Greninja is a special attacker for my team, as it can destroy many pokemon. The Hasty nature gives it that little push of speed, as it doesn't need its defense stat very much. Grass Knot for those water types thinking they can get me by surprise like Gastrodon, Hidden Power Fire for instead of Dark Pulse for many more super effective hits on bugs/steels. Hydro Pump for your basic stab special attacking water move, and Ice Beam for those pesky flying and dragon types. 252 Special Attack as this is a SAtk set, it must have all the SAtk. The speed is obviously or else it will get outsped ALWAYS. ヌメルゴン (Goodra) (M) @ Choice Specs Trait: Sap Sipper EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Draco Meteor - Flamethrower - Thunderbolt - Dragon Pulse Goodra, one of the most useful pokemon on the team. Just not against fairy types... At first, I was one of those Gooey type people, but now I'm like: lolno. Sap Sipper. Grass types can maybe try and hit my Greninja, but then I can easily switch into Goodra. As it runs Dragon Pulse and Draco on a standard set, it should be there. Flamethrower is there for some steel/bug/grass types, as it is almost a guaranteed OHKO. Modest Choice Specs assist with this OHKO as T-bolt and Flamethrower are not stab moves. I gave it 252 Speed as it can maybe out speed some certain pokemon like Scizor. Goodra has really helped me when I'm down to just him. ギルガルド (Aegislash) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Stance Change EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Shadow Sneak - Sacred Sword - King's Shield - Swords Dance Aegislash, one of my peculiar sets according to some people. It's a Relaxed nature as it can tank more hits like EQ in Shield stance. It has max HP to also assist this nature, and we all know that Aegislash runs King's Shield, Shadow Sneak, and Swords Dance at least 95% of the time. I went with Sacred Sword > Iron Head as it can assist a lot with Steel types, can do decent damage to fire types, and it always brings pokemon down low, as Iron Head, although it may flinch 30% of the time, it's not always a guarantee, and does have less coverage than Sacred Sword. ガルーラ (Kangaskhan) (F) @ Kangaskhanite Trait: Scrappy EVs: 12 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Power-Up Punch - Sucker Punch - Return - Earthquake The mega evolution of my team, Kangaskhan. I personally don't think it's broken as there are many counters to it, but anyways. THE BABY IS READY TO FIGHT! Instead of Fake Out, I chose Power Up Punch as it easily gets +2 and then can sweep with Sucker Punch most of the time. Return is the stab move with an Adamant Nature, 252 Attack, and +2, not to forget the Parental Bond hitting twice, it can do a LOT of damage. Earthquake for mostly anything, Sucker Punch for those pesky sashed Gengars, and then Power Up Punch for the +2, as I stated already. Kangaskhan is the main sweeper of the team, and can sometimes be a tank if used correctly. ギガイアス (Gigalith) (M) @ Normal Gem Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Rock Slide - Earthquake - Explosion - Protect Aah. Gigalith. One of my last resort pokemon as well. If things get too nasty, I just go in there with an EXPLOSION. I have a Normal Gem to power up my BOOM BOOM powers. Max HP to hopefully live an attack better, max attack to EXPLODE WITH MORE DAMAGE, and 4 defense as Gigalith is pretty sturdy. I have a Brace Nature for my explosion to be powered up, and I don't really need the speed as I have sturdy, I'm guaranteed to live one attack and then just explode. I have earthquake just in case I'm against something like an electric type that can not touch my Gigalith. (Really only does like 20%, basically.) Rock Slide for flying types, and Protect just to scout what the pokemon are going to do and see if I need to make any switches. Importable: Spoiler ホルード (Diggersby) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Huge Power EVs: 188 HP / 252 Atk / 64 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Earthquake - Quick Attack - Return ゲッコウガ (Greninja) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Protean EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Grass Knot - Hidden Power [Fire] - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam ヌメルゴン (Goodra) (M) @ Choice Specs Trait: Sap Sipper EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Draco Meteor - Flamethrower - Thunderbolt - Dragon Pulse ギルガルド (Aegislash) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Stance Change EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Shadow Sneak - Sacred Sword - King's Shield - Swords Dance ガルーラ (Kangaskhan) (F) @ Kangaskhanite Trait: Scrappy EVs: 12 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Power-Up Punch - Sucker Punch - Return - Earthquake ギガイアス (Gigalith) (M) @ Normal Gem Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Rock Slide - Earthquake - Explosion - Protect Peak (after making changes to my team): Spoiler (22:23:05) ±Porygon: Your rank in Pre-PokeBank OU is 1/610 [1194 points / 34 battles]! Hi, nice team you have here. Firstly, your team is pretty slow-based, and it is going to be outrun by a shitload of threats. Sticky Web support would be much appreciated by your team, as your 3 main wallbreakers (Diggersby/Goodra/Kangaskhan) all aren't amazingly fast, but they can outrun most of the tier if the opponent is crippled by Sticky Web. Thus, I would change Gigalith with Galvantula, as it can provide Sticky Web support while still being able to dish out damage with its Thunder. You also have a spin-blocker in Aegislash, so Sticky Web fits the team perfectly. Next, your team gets literally shit on if a Fairy comes in on your Goodra and you use a dragon-type move on it. To cope with this fairy weakness, I would change Aegislash's set to a 8Hp / 248Atk / 252SAtk with a Quiet nature and the moves King's Shield / Iron Head / Sacred Sword / Shadow Ball. This gives your team a powerful mixed wallbreaker, being able to take out or do heaving amounts of damage to common physical walls such as Landorus-T and Hippowdon, thus your other physical sweepers can sweep unhindered. Finally, I see your team has a Ground weakness, so I would change Diggersby to a SD Talonflame, as it can serve as the team's revenge-killer and sweep a team with its Priority Brave Bird. Hope I helped, and good luck!
