I don't really want to post this here, but I really need suggestions without being declined immediately because there's just TOO much to fix, and even though this forum is clearly dead... Here you go.
    ANIMALS
    Roild is mean
Click me for the link! (Warning! May lag your computer.)
    ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Animals. Let's get down to the basics.
-Animals is a ClanWar-styled theme, which, though many people dislike, I personally like. It's special.
-This theme, similar to Free-For-All Forum Mafia, involves Health Points as well as attack. It's quite niche.
-A lynch deals 3 points of damage.
-Poison makes you lose 2HP every day.

    Seems different enough.
Problems with the theme: Well, with HP and Attack, it's an extremely tedious process, thus there are a lot of mistakes, be it in the wording, forgetting to give someone an extra vote, grammar errors, or little bugs. Kyubey and I had little time to fix bugs during the competition itself, so we are now going to do so. Also, there was not a lot of ways to connect, so we will make more ways so it's more team-based.

These are the conditions we have chosen. Many would think that the conditions we chose were not wise choices, but I like challenging myself, so yeah.

    Easy:
Theme must include at least two (2) roles with copy as an action or part of an action
Almost every role in our theme has copy as part of their action, because of attack bombs like Porcupine and Mockingbird.

Theme must include at least one (1) role that utilizes the mode "resistance."
Simple, we just add a role (Rabbit) that, when poisoned, only loses 2HP every two days instead of every day.

    Medium:
Theme inspects and exposes must reveal side instead of role (i.e. "sight").
I thought this one was a nice one for our ClanWar styled theme, because of side-millers such as Penguin. It also allows you to connect. A mistake on our part, we only had 2 roles with inspects. We will be giving out more inspects to more roles.

    Hard:
Theme must have no more than three (3) sides.
Well... ClanWar. However, now that the competition is over, we will probably make another side, a lone side, like a Neighbour-Assassin side.

Theme must include no actions that occur during the standby phase.
Attacks are basically converts. Due to there not having a day convert, we decided that having no action occur during the standby phase was OK.

Now for the roles. (Ignore the "AM")

    Mammals:
    1) Vampire BatYou have 5HP. People think that you are scary and suck blood. That's not true. Anyway, you can use /bite on someone every night. This deals 2 damage and you will suck back 1HP for yourself. Some misled people think that you're a bird, so when they inspect you, you'll reveal as a bird!

    2) Dolphin
You have 7HP! You're like, super cute. Who doesn't love dolphins? You can surprise someone at night with /jump to attack someone for 4 damage! However, there's a chance that they will identify you. Because of people's ignorance you will be inspected as fish because they do not understand that you're actually a mammal.

    3) Porcupine
You have 6HP. People sometimes underestimate the humble porcupine, those people usually end up with a face full of quills. You can use your spiny protection to /shield someone during the night. Attackers beware, for anyone that inflicts damage on you will recieve 3HP damage in return.

    4) Mouse
You have 3HP. Even the smallest of mammals is joining the fight. Due to your small size you can /stalk one person during the night. Alternatively, every second night you can join the fray and poison a target with /pest. Once bitter enemies, the elephant and you have teamed up and know each other from the start.
    AM:

    5) Lion
You have 8HP. The Lion is here to prove his status as king of the jungle. Your regality allows you to recieve hax on distracts and inspects. You can /lunge at a foe during the night to deal 3 HP damage. You can use your /roar once per game to reveal your own side. Also, as the king you recieve a vote of two
AM: The lion leaps at you dealing 3HP damage

    6) Elephant
You have 8HP. The elephant is big, bad and ready for battle. Elephants never forget and your immense knowledge grants you a vote of 2.5. You can /swing your trunk at someone during the night to inflict 2 HP damage. Once bitter enemies, the mouse and you have teamed up and know each other from the start.
AM: The elephant swings its heavy trunk at you dealing 1HP damage

    7) Rabbit
You have 5HP. Tired of running, you've decided to stand your ground and fight for the mammals. You're extremely lucky and poison, as well as any stray curses, will take twice as long to take effect. You can use /paw during the night to deal 3 HP damage.
AM:The rabbit kicks you in the face dealing 3HP damage

    8) Goat
You have 4HP. Still searching for greener grass you have been caught up in the fight. Extremely aggressive when provoked, you can /ram someone to inflict 3 HP damage. You are very sturdy and ignore all other actions besides attacks; poison and curse damage included.
    9) Flying Squirrel
You have 6HP! Once peaceful, you decided to join the party due to the other animals threatening you! You can bang into someone and /smash them, which deals 1 damage! With your adept nose, you can identify immediately when people distract or inspect you. Because of your gliding skills, all attacks directed towards you miss half of the time.

    10) Bear
You have 6HP. Where's your honey? As a violent mammal, you can help your team out by attacking your opponents with /slash dealing 3 damages. Separately, you can also /roar at someone in the night to prevent them from taking action at night. Finally, you can use /hibernate to heal 2HP. You can't use your other two commands when you use this, and it always goes last!
AM:The Bear slashes at you dealing 3HP damage
The Bear roars at you and you were too scared to act this night

    11) Lemming
You have 5HP. Despite being a small and usually friendly little rodent, you have decided that you must join the fray to help your side in the war. Use /bite on someone to inflict two damage with your mighty teeth. When worse comes to worst, you can use /kamikaze to kill your target in exchange of your own life. This will never fail. It is a fast action and cannot be blocked or distracted.
AM:The lemming rushes at you dealing 2HP damage
    (add kamakazi message here)

    12) Gopher
You have 5HP. You are a cute rodent who likes to dig underground, so when you use /dig on yourself, you hide underground for one night. When in hiding, you have a voteshield of -2 and avoid attacks. Otherwise, when you aren't underground, you can /bite someone to deal 2 damage to someone. You cannot use those two actions on the same night. Also, you are immune to poison completely.
AM: The gopher pops out of the ground and bites you dealing 2HP damage

    13) Panther
You have 5HP! People think that you're always pink. Never mind that, you can use /slash in the night to deal 3 damage to a foe. As the king of shadows (apparently), you have a vote of -3. Due to your vengefulness, when your HP reaches 0, instead of dying, you turn into a role which has an attack of 5 for one night; after that, you're dead.

    Fish:
    1) CrabYou have 5HP. Why are you even in the fishes' side? They pulled you into this to fight against the other animals.Use your powerful nippers with /pinch to inflict 2 damages and prevent your target from using their actions this night. Because you can live outside the water you will be inspected as mammal.
AM: The crab grips you tightly in its claws, you were dealt 2HP damage and couldn't move

    2) Shark
You have 7HP. Despite being an extremely powerful and feared predator, you are not very bright! Use /bite on your target to deal him 5 damages but you will take 2 damages too as repercussion.
AM: The shark viscously attacks you dealing 5HP damage

    3) Manta Ray
You have 10HP. Your elegance is acknowledged throughout the seven seas. Use /inspect during the night to use your intelligence to discover which side your target belongs to. You can even use /tackle to inflict 1 damage to your target.
AM: The manta ray tackles you dealing 1HP damage

    4) Turtle
You have 10HP. After a long and slow reflection you have decided that the oceanic life needs your help. Type /shield to receive all the actions that would have been directed on you target. Type /spin to use an attack that will deal a random damage between 1, 2 or 3.
AM:The turtle uses its shell to smash you dealing XHP damage

    5) Great Barracuda
You have 8HP. Your infamous voracity is your greatest weapon in this war. Use /crunch to deal 2 damage. When your crunch would normally kill someone, your target instead will became a Baby Barracuda. Every Baby Barracuda has their own crunch which deals 2 damage, so the more Barracudas the merrier! If someone tries to distract you, your attack will be redirected on him.
AM: The barracuda crunches you in its massive jaws dealing 2HP damage

    6) Baby Barracuda
You have 3HP. After being bitten, you have become the Great Barracudas's pawn. Use /crunch to deal 2 damages, because this attack is shared with the other Barracudas his raw power will rise of 2 extra damages for any barracuda alive.
AM: A baby barracuda swarms you dealing 2HP damage
    7) Octopus
You have 6HP. Famous as one of the most intelligent invertebrates, you have decided that your intervention is necessary to bring the aquatic life to the victory. Use /ink on yourself once every two nights to hide in it and escape from any night action. You can attack your enemies with /poke to deal 2 damage on them but you can't use it when you are hiding inside your ink. Should you not use either of your commands, you restore 1HP.
AM: The octopus whacks you with its tentacles dealing 2HP damage

    8) Jellyfish
You have 4HP. Animals often underestimate you for your fragility, but you and your poisonous tentacles know that they are making a great mistake. Thanks to your bubbly nature, if you are full health, any attack that would kill you otherwise leaves you at 1HP. Anyone that tries to use an aggressive action on you will be poisoned and will lose 2HP every night.

    9)Flying Fish
You have 5HP. You are a scintillating fish that glides over the sea surface. Use /glitter to blind your target this night and block his actions. Your reflection will be so bright that sometimes the other players will find out who did you distracted. On nights when you don't distract, you can attack your enemies with /attack that will deal 3 damage. Because you glide over the water, the inspectors will think that you are a bird.
AM: The fllying fish leaps at you dealing 3HP damage

    10)Sea Snake
You have 5HP. Silent and insidious, you and your fangs are ready to battle. You can type /poison during the night. By using this, your target will lose 2HP every night. You are so slippery that your vote counts as -2.
AM: The sea snake sinks its fangs in you and injects its venom, you are now poisoned

    11)Seahorse
You have 5HP. You're a weird looking thingy that's pretty cool, actually. You can use /ram to deal 2 damage. You can even /hide once per game behind seaweed to evade any night action. Because you are a nice and friendly animal, when you ram someone or someone uses an action on you, both of you will discover each other's role.
AM: The seahorse headbuts you dealing 2HP damage, he then stops for a chat

    12)Anglerfish
You have 5HP. Deceitful but patient, you wait for your prey in the darkness, ready to attack without remorse. Use /lure to distract your prey with your light and deal 2 damage. Otherwise, you can /illuminate your target once per game to reveal to everyone his role at the end of the night. Every time someone deals damage to you, you will receive an extra /illuminate charge to use if you have already used your first one.
AM:The anglerfish lures you with its light and bites you dealing 2HP damage, you were so distracted you forgot to attack

    13)Electric Eel:
You have 5HP. For a fathead minnow with an electric personality, one could say you're pretty... shocking. Use /shock on your target to deal 4 damage, but your target will be so fried that anyone who attacks him won't do any more damage for the night.
AM: The electric eel zaps you dealing 4HP damage, the electric field created protects you from all other attacks
    14)Reef Stonefish
You have 5HP. It's a stone! It's a fish! It's... Stonefish! You can /spike your opponents at night to to deal 2 damage on your target with your spines. Thanks to your perfect camouflage, you can't be haxed or stalked, and the inspectors that are not in your team will think that you are a bird or a mammal. Your stealth gives you a vote of -2.

    Birds:
1)OwlYou have 5HP. You are the wisest bird in the forest! This allows you to hax the commands used at night to increase your knowledge (and maybe find some friends). You can suggest or fake the role of your haxes typing /fish, /mammal or /bird You can also use /beak to attack a foe and deal 2 damage to them at night and have a +2 vote.
AM: The Owl sweeps down from above dealing 2HP damages
    2)Nightingale
You have 4HP. You are an extraordinarily loud and annoying bird. This lets you use /sing at night to broadcast your side to all the animals in the game and distract the target chosen by it. You can also use /beak to attack a foe and deal 2 damage to them at night.
AM: The nightingale obnoxiously attacks you dealing 2HP damage
    3)Hummingbird
You have 6HP. You are the smallest bird around, and because of this, you evade attacks 80% of the time! Unfortunately, the other animals can push you around easily and if voted or successfully attacked you will take double the damage. You can also use /beak to attack a foe and deal 3 damage to them at night.
AM: The Hummingbird flies straight at your weakspot dealing 3HP damage
    4)Chicken
You have 5HP. At first glance you're a pretty useless bird, and some say you're....chicken for not fighting much. However you can use /egg at night to heal a friendly flying friend for 2HP or to damage any other target for 2 damage.
AM:The chicken pelts you with eggs dealing 2HP damage
The chicken offers you an egg it heals 2HP damage

    5)Ostrich:
You have 8HP. You're such a large bird you can easily cover other birds using /shield at night. Beware though, this means you will take all damage meant for your target. Since you always have your head in the sand, you also take one less damage from all attacks and the chicken heals you less . And, once per night, you can use /bash to deal 1 damage.

    6)Crow
You have 6HP. You are a dark and mysterious bird who, in addition to going kacaw, can use /omen to make someone lose 5HP the next night. For that night, however, he will be protected from any other attacks.
AM: Caw! the crow has cursed you, you have one night until it takes effect
    7)Swan
You have 5HP. As the most beautiful bird on the lake, you can use your /song to inflict two damages on a foe. If you are dying that night, your last song will kill the target. If they are a flying animal, however, your last song will heal their health to full. You will survive a lynch that would kill you in order to perform this last song. You are also immune to the crow, as you are so pure.
AM: The Swan sings to you, this strangley deals 2HP damage
Dying the Swan sings its last song, strangely you feel yourself slipping away from this world
Dying the Swan sings its last song, strangely you feel reinvigorated

    8)Penguin
You have 7HP. You're eternally shy and cannot sing like the other penguins, but turn to dancin...wait, wrong penguin. You can help out your team by using /beak to attack a foe for 2 damage at night. You also inspect as a fish, allowing you to infiltrate other teams.
AM: The penguin slams into you dealing 2HP damage

    9)Roadrunner
You have 6HP. You are eternally on the run from your foe Wile E. Coyote, but have stopped to help your fellow birds. You can use /peck to attack a foe for 1 damage at night, but for every HP you lose your peck attack gains one damage point.
AM: The roadrunner tramples you dealing XHP damage

    10)Kiwi
You have 5HP. You are a hairy fruit...Oh wait. You are a little bird that not much is known about. Therefore, you get inspected as a mammal. You can also use /clumsy at night to cure a target of poison or a curse, but you will deal 1 damage to them in the process. You also evade all actions that don't cause direct damage and for some odd reason (maybe cause you're an odd bird) you have a vote of 1.5.
AM: The Kiwi clumsily runs at you, dealing 1HP damage, somehow he manages to remove any curse or poisoning

    11)Mockingbird
You have 6HP. You enjoy mimicking other animal's sounds. As such, when people attack you, you mimic their actions and deal the same amount of damage back to them. Otherwise, you can use your /peck to deal 1 damage to another person.
AM: The mocking bird flies at you dealing XHP damage, he then laughs

    12)Flamingo
You have 5HP. You have two long legs that allow you to dance daintily. Sometimes, you can use /stumble to 'accidentally' deal a random amount of damage between 1 and 6 to a foe. Flamboyant is in your name (literally), so your vote counts as 2, and you have a 10% chance of evading attacks.
AM: Tripping over its own feet, the flamingo stumbles at you dealing XHP damage

    13)Magpie
You have 2HP! Tweet! You're pretty special. You have mixed luck: You're immune to attacks at night and poison! However, if anyone votes you during the day, an extra 10 votes will be placed on you, causing you to immediately be voted off and dying. You have another /peck command, which deals only one damage. Each night you survive, though, your attack and vote will increase by 2, maxing out at 8 each.

A lot of these roles haven't been coded yet due to the lack of time for us to do so. However, from what we could see...
(11:15:24) 1: Birds. Times Won: 31. Average Players per win: 11.23
(11:15:24) 2: Mammals. Times Won: 23. Average Players per win: 12.35
(11:15:24) 3: Fish. Times Won: 23. Average Players per win: 11.39
(11:15:24) 4: Tie. Times Won: 10. Average Players per win: 9.8
Do note that majority of the birds' extra wins was before we nerfed the birds. In any case, Mammals and Fish seem to be very balanced, whereas Birds... Meh.
Strong players for Mammals include the Elephant (and the Mouse), the Panther and the Lion. Fish has Great Barracuda, a very good role that always makes comebacks for the Fish. When someone says 'I'm dying', Barracuda will swim and crunch them into a Baby. Manta Ray and Turtle from its team has 10HP, so Fish has high survival chance. Birds are good all round, even the littlest of Birds like Magpie, though it has 2HP only, can make a big difference. Crow and Swan are also great roles.

In any case, we will be making more masons/hax/inspect so it will be more team-ish and not like Vepix. Please comment about what you think can be changed!
Oh, also, our reception is a mix of very good and very bad.
Lasts too long, too many roles are overpowered. HP system is interesting, but I do not understand why it is needed on only one theme, either it should be on all or none. 2/10
    :(
I absolutely loved the HP mechanic. It was extremely fun to not usually have to worry about dying n1 and having some foresight before I'm likely to die. I found bulky roles such as Great Barracuda especially fun because they take a while to die. This theme was by quite a long ways my favorite, and I really hope it wins.
    \o/

So, I guess people are just confused by it if they don't like it, so I will have to get rid of the bugs entirely so that it's clean and tidy so we can upload it as a theme for all to enjoy.

Are you still going to stick to the contest conditions? I feel a solo role like ClanWar's NA/VL would be great here too since it would allow for frames where you could convince absolutely all players to lynch a specific person, and to make alliance occur eventually.

Also, since the contest is over and you can have outside people helping now, I could help in making a script that would automatically generate the theme from a smaller file, similar to what I do with Trainers. It's basically a simpler JSON file that would specify the base roles, then all the poisoned and reduced HP forms roles would be made by the script.

    @First Point
That's a yes. It'll probably be an Amphibian, Reptile or an Insect. Make your suggestions now~

And... That would be very nice. If you decide to do so, thank you super so much for your help :3 It'll be so much easier to edit stuff.
Also: There are a lot of unique roles, so some roles may be exceptions... well, I don't know the extent of what the auto-generating script can do

    Oh, I'm blind :x

Since it would be a script specific for that theme, unique roles wouldn't be a problem. What I would need is to know exactly what each role can do, and how the damage system was coded (too lazy to check the code now, but what I mean is if you used Curse or Convert, if you used other stuff like onDead, etc).

I was thinking more about a 4th team with 3 roles more mafia like for any other principal animal family, they will have only 1 HP and directly kills their targets, they will have shared actions and knows each other, it would spawn a member every 6 roles of the other species, for exemple we could add a crocodile as 7th players, a frog as 14th and an Ant or a Spider if we prefer arachnids instead of insects at 21 players.
Thanks for the help. Anyway principally our theme works this way typically,
each role has X versions of themselves where X is his max number of HP + a number of poisoned versions of their role equal to their HP + a 0hp version of the role that has no abilities ( unless it's swan or panther) and that will die that night. Each version at the begin of their help message have written their actual HP and if they are poisoned.
The HP damage and poison works with a convert, with a "newRole": command linked to different variables depending on how much damages that role deal or his special ability in case of roles like Great Barracuda (he converts roles with 2 or less hp in Baby Barracuda) with inside the list of roles conversion. The HP damage ability has even a copyAs command for the bomb roles so that the role loses 3 hp when attacks porcupine, a number of HP equal to his attack power if attacks mockingbird, get poisoned when attacks jellyfish and doesn't receive any fail copy message when he attacks a role that is not a bomb.
All the poisoned versions have a curse that makes them lose 2 hp every turn apart the poisoned roles with only 2HP or less that instead will have a poison that kills them the same night.
Now i wanna describe the Best part but even the most problematic part of our theme. All the roles as you can imagine from the copy inside their attacks, have some difference depending on their actual HP, for exemples normally all the roles have a "lynch": "convertTo" that transforms that role in a version with 3 less hp when he is lynched apart obviously when they have 3 or less HP. There are even some roles that have some change in their abilities depending on how much HP they have, for exemple "roadrunner" raise his attack of 1 point for every hp that he has lost.
I wanna be honest with you IceKirby, i think that if you wanna create that script idea it will be pretty complicate and hard, i have even forgot that there are some roles that do not follow precisely the general rules, as ostrich that receive 1 less damage when attacked, or roles like Bat and Gopher that have even a B and/or C version of themselves so to not provoke the Dark Knight Cecil Syndrome or to simulate a "charges" command even when they lose some HP or get poisoned.
So if you wanna retire your offer you are still in time. In any case thanks, you have always been disponible both now and during the contest to give us advice and helps.
You could come up with what roles would be wise to be able to know each other, for exemple it would be wise if turtle and shark knows each other so that shark would receive less damages, practically suggest some roles that could work well as combo together and so be good to be together. Principally it would be good if you have some idea for mammals.

It's not that much of a hassle. As an example, look at what I have for Trainers: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10065307/Mafia/TrainersSummary.js
That 846 lines file, when used with a script, generates the 16k+ lines Trainers' code. Animals would just be a bit more complicated, but from what you described, the logic is quite simple to understand.

Why no one read my posts -.-.
Now about why i don't want a solitary role instead of a mafia team i will give you the same motivation of when i said to Angel Flonne that i don't wanna mirror like roles:
This is not Clanwar and i don't like neighbour assassin.
The only thing that those 2 themes have in common is that they are 3 teams vs each others.
I want a theme where each team has his strong points and his weak points, with each team that has a different method to contact his partners (sadly this part has been implemented a little late because of the difficulty to code some of the connector like seahorse, lion and other one).
As it is now mammals is the most balanced team, with good attacks roles that can regain HP, and a good quantity of active passive abilities, fishes has a great amount of HP and the greatest number of active abilities, birds
has the greatest number of roles with few HP of all the teams but is even the team with the greatest number of passive abilities and potential attack power.
And if i will add a fourth team it will be the most fragile but even the most offensive one. With all the roles with only 1 HP with less members ratio respect the other teams, direct shared kills, and the greatest advantage respect the other teams, the ability to know all their partners from the begin.

I started coding the whole script to generate the theme code, but I need some details to continue:
-Why does almost all roles have initialCondition.clearPoison?
-Some roles have a "b" version (like bat1b, bear2bp, etc). What are those?
-How are you using each "dummy" command? From what I saw, dummy is to send the attack message, dummy2 is for Dolphin's reveal and dummy3 for bombs. Is there something else to those?
-Some attacks use a different order for the "commands" array, like Bat's bite is convert > copy > dummy3 > dummy, while Mockingbird's peck is copy > dummy3 > dummy > convert. Was that for some purpose, or was that random?

What this theme could use are some inspects. Possibly during the day to concentrate on other stuff at night? No voting as it is now implies that there is little teamwork, which also messes up shielders and other bodyguard roles. If a team has a shielder, then a healer would be effective to be on the team with some way to connect (No hax. wouldn't work and would be easier to just reveal role).

Secondary option is to fuse some attacks/actions with inspect that reveals side (bird, fish, etc). Millers wouldn't work because just 3 teams. They'd be attacked by own team if found. Also makes some things confusing like Bats/Dolphins. Not birds/fish and shit. Confusion should be controlled so the theme can be more effective essentially. Also, if a role will kill outright, why not make it a daykill? STATING THIS NOW, MY MONEY IS ON KOMODO DRAGON. Shit's a beast.

-Why does almost all roles have initialCondition.clearPoison?
This is so that if the healer roles with low priorities (see: chicken, swan's last song, etc) heal a role which, in the same turn got hit to 0HP (0 HP roles have initial condition poison with a count of 1), they would be healed and their 'poison' would be cleared.

-Some roles have a "b" version (like bat1b, bear2bp, etc). What are those?
I am not sure about this. I didn't really understand kyubey's explanation.

-How are you using each "dummy" command? From what I saw, dummy is to send the attack message, dummy2 is for Dolphin's reveal and dummy3 for bombs. Is there something else to those?
That's probably it for now. We may include one more with the other roles (the new team or the roles we haven't coded yet).

-Some attacks use a different order for the "commands" array, like Bat's bite is convert > copy > dummy3 > dummy, while Mockingbird's peck is copy > dummy3 > dummy > convert. Was that for some purpose, or was that random?
Is there a difference? I didn't know there was, so I think that was random.

1)as you can see roles with 0HP or poisoned roles with 2 or less hp became poisoned and dies the same night , so the cure poison is there just in case that those roles regain enough hp to survive the night or gets converted to Baby Barracudas by Great Barracuda.
2)as i said before the B or C versipns exist so to not provoke the dark knight cecil syndrome or to simulate "charges" even when a role converts.
To be more precise BatB BearB(actually this is obsolete because i solved the problem changing hybernate priority for each role) are for the Cecil syndrome, for exemple if a bat attack a role different then a bomb, he will risk to attacks more time on the same turn because he will converts in a version of himself with a lower priority on his /bite ability, as cecil at the begin when both his versions had their converts command with the same name instead as /purify and /dark now.
LionB and SeahorseB are needed to simulate "charges" and octopusB serves to simulate "recharge". I always forget for what motive arr neccessary gopherB and gopherC but i think it was related to "recharge" simulation and his -2 vote when he uses /dig but i am not 100% sure.

3)"dummy" is used even for lion and anglerfish night expositions and seahorse twosides reveal attacks, "dummy2" is even for when flying fish distracted target is revealed to everyone at the end of the night, "dummy3" is used even to give at anyone that attacks seahorse a message that reveals their target identity. I don't think to have forgot any other, after all doesn t exists more then 3 possible dummy.
    4) Vampire Bat has some different oder simply because it was a prototype for the next roles and was written together with GTFan instead then alone like the other one, the only 1 that have a precise order i think are some roles that self protects.

P.S. I forgot to say an important thing before, there is a motivation why the roles are written with an increasing order of HP in the code. The motuve is that this way any role will have a faster priority respect their versions with more HP and save them from the Cecil syndrome when they attacks a bomb role, so apart rare cases as swan with 0hp that has a slower action confronted to hid higher Hp versions all the others would have a faster action then the same role with more Hp.
So they should appear in an order similar to this : rabbit0->rabbit1p->rabbit1->rabbit2p->rabbit2 and so goes until their max pure hp version.

Ok, I think I got most of it. I will continue coding tomorrow.
If you want a preview, try pasting this code
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10065307/Mafia/AnimalsSummary.js
    at this page:
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10065307/Mafia/AnimalsMaker.html
(Yes, I'm using the same template as the Theme Checker because lazy).

If you try adding another role to the "Animals" object, the script will add them to the damage variables too (you may need to add something to the Priority list at the end of the file). Still needs lots of stuff, but the idea is to make things like messages and priority easier to update.

    Nice job until now!! I have only a question: as i've seen for now the roles appear in the order bat0, bat1, bat1p, bat2, bat2p, bat3, bat3p, bat4, bat4p, bat5, bat5p.
Could be possible to make it appear in the order bat0, bat1p, bat1, bat2p, bat2, bat3p, bat3, bat4p, bat4, bat5p, bat5 ? Otherwise i fear that if a not poisoned animal attacks jellyfish, that animal will attack jellyfish a second time during the same night.
Waoh!! I didn't knew that with your script we could automatically have a list of the roles for the variables damages. Nice to know that i was wrong, this way it will be easier to add some new roles that i have in mind but that i don't have added on any of the variables because have been supposed only after we finished the actual variables.
Anyone said Wombat? No one said Wombat i swear on RainbowCrash honour!!
Maybe you don't know because you played the theme only at the begin of the challenge, but this theme has already 2 inspectors and they are not the only 2 possible connectors for our theme we simply didn't coded them soon because all this roles are a little long to code, i suggest you to give a look at this roles so to give you an idea to all the possible connectors
LION, ELEPHANT, SEAHORSE, ANGLERFISH, NIGHTINGALE, OWL, FLYING SQUIRREL and even FLYING FISH partially
Sorry but i have always seen voting during the day when i played this theme, so i do not understands what do you mean. About the shields we have partially solved this problem giving at Sea Turtle and Ostrich a known partner, we only need to choose the best partner for porcupine.
As i said before take a look to Seahorse Please. About millers i think they are fine as they are because: inspectors are not the only discover that roles, both night exposers like anglerfish and lion, haxers like owl and lion, and even some more peculiar roles like seahorse and flying squirrel can discover the real identity/side of millers because they are not influenced by the millers mechanics so you do not have to worry about this.

    P.S. for Angel Flonne
You have forgot to update some of the roles description with the actual version that we modified during the contest playing phase, as mouse, elephant, ostrich, nightingale, Barracudas and maybe some other one that doesn't come on my mind.

    P.S. for everyone
I've coded a possible member of the fourth team Crocodile, let me know what do you think about it:

I HEARD SOMETHING! IT SOUNDED LIKE WOMBAT! But really, I'm hoping that Wombat gets in :P

Anyways, Komodo Dragon is a pretty cool idea for a loner role. Other loners could be something slightly out of place like a T-rex. And if there was to be an entire fourth team, equal to the others, then I'd say either go Reptiles or... *drumroll* PLANTS! That's right. I'll leave you with that one.

And also Roild, there are inspectors now, like Manta Ray. Or did you mean inspectors that reveal the role not just the side?

Looking through for what you said. Lion can night claim "I am a mammals". Could just remove targetSide and write the correct "mammal". Mouse and Elephant connected. and mouse can inspect.

There is no sea horse. All of them are dead roles.

    Code (text):
    1.
    2.             "info": "Can distract and deal 2 points of damage. Can expose 1 person's side every time that loses HP. Sided with fishes.",
    3.
Should be that it loses HP. The side "mammals" should be "mammal" to keep with correct syntax for all of the exposes. /illuminate is a lengthy command.

Nightingale similar to lion but on others. knowing the bg.

Half actions which hurts team if used but only for a turn so w/e.

So, I've been slacking with the Animals Maker, so I guess I should at least say that I plan on continuing it soon, but if you authors feel more comfortable, you should still continue coding as you been doing it before, and then use the script for when you need to make some adjustments.
It may sound that once you re-coded the theme you will not need the script anymore, but from my experience with Trainers, having that script is a big help to balance stuff later (and you will probably have more stuff to balance than I have with Trainers).

Do not worry, i am still coding even if me too is slacking off a bit, because of my real life and because coding this theme is pretty boring with all his repetitions necessary. Anyway Icekirby with your maker there is an error when it add a variable call: practically it writes "variables:name of the variable" when instead should be "variable:name of the variable".
    Anyway here some extra infos:
I thought that Roild had seen wrong when he said that there was no seahorsw, until i've seen that the raw code on the opening post didn't updated himself when i updated the code, so here a right link https://gist.github.com/Kyubey/7289354/raw/464da8ac50a1d08d01874b713919500fc807f002/Animals
I have corrected some help messages that our writer had described wrong like that of gopher's /dig lack of cooldown and the lion described as an autorevealer instead of an exposer as he is.
Finished some roles like owl but i need that Angel Flonne or someone else checks his help and info message to make it more comprensive.
I was thinking of salamander as companion of crocodile, with a shared kill and that needs to be attacked 2 consecutive nights or attacked and then lynched to be killed what do you think about it Angel?
I was even thinking of 2 possible mechanics for the future, like a role that depending on how much HP has he will have revealed one of his partners or maybe an high chance hax to find him, and maybe a role that can target multiple players with his attack.

    EDIT:
Added Stonefish, Flying fish, Roadrunner and Hummingbird in the code https://gist.github.com/Kyubey/7289354
ADDED Salamander as partner of Crocodile, i have coded even octopus but i opted to give him a multitarget attack then his regenerative power, because it is more flavor like for such role and simplier and faster to code then the original project. NOW we only need to add the last partner for the OTHERS team and to produce an adeguate rolelist.

    What?
In any case, we are currently fixing the grammar and we'll be done. I hope you can be done too (ricekirby), well, no rush, but you know, it would be better if we can get this done quick (it's seriously hard to find+replace a phrase like 2 damages -> 2 points of damage :<)

    Here the Help messages updated
    MAMMALS

    Vampire Bat
Help Text: You have 5HP. People think that you are scary and suck blood. That's not true. Anyway, you can use /drain on someone every night. This deals 2 damage and you will suck back 2HP for yourself. Some misled people think that you' re a bird, so when they inspect you, you' ll reveal as a bird!

    Dolphin
Help Text: You have 7HP! You're like, super cute. Who doesn't love dolphins? You can surprise someone at night with /jump to attack someone for 4 damage! However, there's a chance that they will identify you. Because of people's ignorance you will be inspected as fish because they do not understand that you're actually a mammal.

    Porcupine
Help Text: You have 6HP. People sometimes underestimate the humble porcupine, those people usually end up with a face full of quills. You can use your spiny protection to /shield someone during the night, and whatever attacks that was directed to the person will be directed to you instead. Attackers beware, for anyone that inflicts damage on you will recieve 3HP damage in return.

    Lion
Help Text: You have 8HP. The Lion is here to prove his status as king of the jungle. Your regality allows you to recieve hax on distracts and inspects. You can /lunge at a foe during the night to deal 3 points of damage. You can use your /roar once per game to reveal your target's side during the night. Also, as the king you recieve a vote of two.

    Gopher
Help Text: You have 5HP. You are a cute rodent who likes to dig underground, so when you use /dig on yourself, you hide underground for one night. When in hiding, you have a voteshield of -2, a vote of 0 and avoid attacks. Otherwise, when you aren't underground, you can /bite someone to deal 2 damage to someone. You cannot use those two actions on the same night. Also, you are immune to poison completely.

    Rabbit
Help Text: Tired of running, you've decided to stand your ground and fight for the mammals. You're extremely lucky and poison, as well as any stray curses, will take twice as long to take effect. You can use /paw during the night to deal 3HP.

    Bear
Help Text: You have 6HP. Where's your honey? As a violent mammal, you can help your team out by attacking your opponents with /slash dealing 3 points of damage. Separately, you can also /growl at someone in the night to prevent them from taking action at night. Finally, you can use /hibernate to heal 2HP. You can't use your other two commands when you use this, and it always goes last!

    Panther
Help Text: You have 5HP.

    Goat
Help Text: You have 4HP. Still searching for greener grass you have been caught up in the fight. Extremely aggressive when provoked, you can /ram someone to inflict 3 points of damage. You are very sturdy and ignore all other actions besides attacks; poison and curse damage included.

    Lemming
Help Text: You have 5HP.Despite being a small and usually friendly little rodent, you have decided that you must join the fray to help your side in the war. Use /bite on someone to inflict two damage with your mighty teeth. When worse comes to worst, you can use /kamikaze to kill your target in exchange of your own life. This will never fail. It is a fast action and cannot be blocked or distracted.

    Flying Squirrel
Help Text: You have 6HP! Once peaceful, you decided to join the party due to the other animals threatening you! You can bang into someone and /smash them, which deals 1 point of damage! With your adept nose, you can identify immediately when people distract or inspect you. Because of your gliding skills, all attacks directed towards you miss half of the time.

    Elephant
Help Text: You have 8HP. The elephant is big, bad and ready for battle. Elephants never forget and your immense knowledge grants you a vote of 2.5. You can /swing your trunk at someone during the night to inflict 2 HP damage. Once bitter enemies, the mouse and you have teamed up and know each other from the start.

    Mouse
Help Text: You have 3HP. Even the smallest of mammals is joining the fight. Due to your small size you can /inspect one person during the night. Alternatively, every second night you can join the fray and poison a target with /pest. Once bitter enemies, the elephant and you have teamed up and know each other from the start.

    Fishes

    Crab
Help Text: You have 5HP. Why are you even in the fishes' side? They pulled you into this to fight against the other animals. Use your powerful nippers with /pinch to inflict 2 points of damage and prevent your target from using their actions this night. Because you can live outside the water you will be inspected as mammal.

    Shark
Help Text: You have 7HP. Despite being an extremely powerful and feared predator, you are not very bright! Use /bite on your target to deal him 5 points of damage but you will take 2 points of damage too as repercussion. If Turtle is present you will know who Turtle is.

    Sea Turtle
Help Text: You have 10HP. After a long and slow reflection you have decided that the oceanic life needs your help. Type /shield to receive all the actions that would have been directed on you target. Type /spin to use an attack that will deal a random point of damage between 1, 2 or 3. You know who is Shark!

    Jellyfish
Help Text: You have 4HP. You know who is Manta Ray!

    Electric Eel
Help Text: You have 5HP. For a fathead minnow with an electric personality, one could say you're pretty... shocking. Use /shock on your target to deal 4 damage, but your target will be so fried that anyone who attacks him won't do any more damage for the night.

    Manta Ray
Help Text: You have 10HP. Your elegance is acknowledged throughout the seven seas. Use /inspect during the night to use your intelligence to discover which side your target belongs to. You can even use /tackle to inflict 1 damage to your target.

    Sea Snake
Help Text: You have 5HP.Silent and insidious, you and your fangs are ready to battle. You can type /poison during the night. By using this, your target will lose 2HP every night. You are so slippery that your vote counts as -2.

    Anglerfish
Help Text: You have 5HP.

    Great Barracuda
Help Text: You have 8HP.

    Baby Barracuda
Help Text: You have 3HP. After being bitten, you have become the Great Barracudas's pawn. Use /crunch to deal 2 damages, because this attack is shared with the other Barracudas his raw power will rise of 2 extra damages for any barracuda alive. Help Text: You have 5HP.

    Seahorse
Help Text: You have 5HP. You're a weird looking thingy that's pretty cool, actually. You can use /ram to deal 2 damage. You can even /hide once per game behind seaweed to evade any night action. Because you are a nice and friendly animal, when you ram someone or someone uses an action on you, both of you will discover each other's role.

    Flying Fish
Help Text: You have 5HP. You are a scintillating fish that glides over the sea surface. Use /glitter to blind your target this night and block his actions. Your reflection will be so bright that sometimes the other players will find out who did you distracted. On nights when you don't distract, you can attack your enemies with /attack that will deal 3 damage. Because you glide over the water gracefully, the inspectors will think that you are a bird.

    Birds

    Magpie
Help Text: You have 2HP! Tweet! You're pretty special. You have mixed luck: You're immune to attacks at night and poison! However, if anyone votes you during the day, an extra 10 votes will be placed on you, causing you to immediately be voted off and die. You have another /peck command, which deals only two points of damage. Each night you survive, though, your attack and vote will increase by 2, maxing out at 8 each.

    Crow
Help Text: You have 6HP. You are a dark and mysterious bird who, in addition to going kacaw, you can use /omen to make someone lose 5HP the next night. For that night, however, he will be protected from any other attacks.

    Swan
Help Text: You have 5HP. As the most beautiful bird on the lake, you can use your /song to inflict two damage on a foe. If you are dying that night, your last song will kill the target. If they are a birds or animals disguised as birds, however, your last song will heal their health to full. You will survive a lynch that would kill you in order to perform this last song. You are also immune to the crow, as you are so pure.

    Mockingbird
Help Text: You have 6HP. You enjoy mimicking other animal's sounds. As such, when people attack you, you mimic their actions and deal the same amount of damage back to them. Otherwise, you can use your /peck to deal 1 point of damage to another person.

    Ostrich
Help Text: You have 8HP. You know Nightingale. You're such a large bird you can easily cover other birds using /shield at night. Beware though, this means you will take all damage meant for your target. Since you always have your head in the sand, you also take one less damage from all attacks and the chicken heals you less. If all the birds are dead you will go crazy!!

    Crazy Ostrich
Help Text: You have 1HP! All your partners are dead and you've lost your mind. Now you have one single /kill that can surpass any other action and your vote power is 5 now. But be cautious because now you are so instable that any action could kill you now.

    Chicken
Help Text: You have 5HP.At first glance you're a pretty useless bird, and some say you're....chicken for not fighting much. However you can use /egg at night to heal a friendly flying friend for 2HP or to damage any other target for 2 points of damage.

    Kiwi
Help Text: You have 5HP. You are a hairy fruit...Oh wait. You are a little bird that not much is known about. Therefore, you get inspected as a mammal. You can also use /clumsy at night to cure a target of poison or a curse, but you will deal 1 point of damage to them in the process. You also evade all actions that don't cause direct damage and for some odd reason (maybe cause you're an odd bird) you have a vote of 1.5.

    Penguin
Help Text: You have 7HP. You're eternally shy and cannot sing like the other penguins, but turn to dancin...wait, wrong penguin. You can help out your team by using /beak to attack a foe for 2 points of damage at night. You also inspect as a fish, allowing you to infiltrate other teams.

    Nightingale
Help Text: You have 4HP. You know Ostrich. You are an extraordinarily loud and annoying bird. This lets you use /sing at night to broadcast your side to all the animals in the game and distract the target chosen by it. You can also use /beak to attack a foe and deal 2 damage to them at night.

    Roadrunner
Help Text: You have 5HP. You are eternally on the run from your foe Wile E. Coyote, but have stopped to help your fellow birds. You can use /peck to attack a foe for 1 damage at night, but for every HP you lose your peck attack gains one damage point.

    Flamingo
Help Text: You have 5HP. You have two long legs that allow you to dance daintily. Sometimes, you can use /stumble to 'accidentally' deal a random amount of damage between 1 and 6 to a foe. Flamboyant is in your name (literally), so your vote counts as 2.

    Owl
Help Text: You have 5 HP. You are the wisest bird in the forest! This allows you to hax the commands used at night to increase your knowledge (and maybe find some friends). You can tell everyone (or fake!) the role whom you haxed by typing /fish, /mammal or /bird on who you want to reveal. You may even fake it as an Anglerfish, the Fish-sided counterpart of yourself by using /afish, /abird, /amammal or as a Lion, the Mammal-sided counterpart of yourself by using /lfish, /lbird, lmammal. You can also use /beak to attack a foe and deal 2 damage to them at night and have a +2 vote.

    Hummingbird
Help Text: You have 6HP. You are the smallest bird around, and because of this, you evade attacks 80% of the time! Unfortunately, the other animals can push you around easily and if voted or successfully attacked you will take double the damage. You can also use /beak to attack a foe and deal 3 points of damage to them at night.

    Cold Blooded

    Crocodile
Help Text: You have 1HP! You and your giant jaw decided to give a lesson to the other teams with the help of your alliance. In addition to having a voteshield of -5, you can either /kill your target or /sink underwater to protect yourself during the night.

    Salamander

Help Text: Your regenerative powers are needed for the good of your team. You can type /kill to eliminate your target with your team. Thanks to your great regeneration power you need to be attacked 2 consecutive nights or attacked and then lynched or vice versa to be killed.
