Mafia Theme (untitled at the moment) (nonpeak)

    I had this random idea for a nonpeak theme that I thought has some strengths. It's not too different from vanilla or something, and some might even compare it to SI, but I think it has a lot of potential to be unique, and here's why:

    Lots of kills. Not a killfest number of kills, but still a lot. This is not common for nonpeak themes.
    I feel themes have WAY too much focus on BG and Insp these days. It's often "Oh, if BG dies we lose" (like in Zelda to an extent). I want to redirect some of that focus to Samurai.
    I like the idea that some of the Mafia can't kill Samurai. Of course, then they'll know who he is and another can kill him, but still.

    Anyways, I know it's a rather bland theme (I would give the roles cooler names, except what would I name them? My best idea is a jungle-based theme with birds for villagers, ocelot for samurai, and humans for mafia (cut those trees). However, I plan to make an Amazon-based theme some time, and don't want to waste the idea on a theme that could use such bland and generic roles. If people like it, I'll send it in to review.

    Here's a short summary of the roles:
    Villager: Vote of 1, sided with village. No special actions.
    Samurai: Nonrevealing daykill. Sided with village.
    Mafia (mafia1): Nightkill, not shared with team. Can kill Samurai. Sided with Mafia.
    Mafia (mafia2): Nightkill, not shared with team. Cannot kill Samurai (but doesn't know it). Sided with Mafia.

    Iv'e always favored the idea of a theme that is PR heavy, but has no BGs or ways to protect themselves. The wilderness is a great and vast place but it is full of many hazards. Poisonous snakes, for example. Are poisonous. Snakes. Poisonous snakes.

    I know there are lizards, chameleons (or whatever the hell Kecleon is based off of), and ants in the Jungle. It's a lot more fun if you classify them other than their phylum or genus (the way Animals is set up, based on the five types of animals). That's just too...expected. Makes ants the villager, at least. Make red (fire) ants an arsonist (poisoner).

    Snakes are definitely a solid way of making a mafia. A shared poison as opposed to a shared (factional, actually) kill is unique only to Elements' Toxic Elements mafia. Since snakes coil and are scary, they can also distract by choking their victim (or maybe scaring them?) Or perhaps, give them the ability to evade kills because they are scary.

    Hmmm, I like this idea. Is this in response to the part about considering an Amazon theme, because otherwise it makes no sense :)
