Yeah, posting a monotype team with the new type, Fairy! I think this will be the standard for future monofairies, because there aren't so much options left, doh.
Anyway, this team have done good in the tier, although still isn't in the same wavelenght with other powerful monotypes like Steel or Bug.
I peaked at #3 on the monotype ranking, but if you have any suggestions, shot them! :3

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    In Depth:
    Clefable (F) @ Focus Sash
    Trait: Magic Guard
    EVs: 208 HP / 252 SAtk / 48 Spd
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Moonblast
    - Fire Blast
    - Stealth Rock
    - Magic Coat
I changed Clefable to this support set and works okish. Moonblast is STAB, Fire Blast is coverage (fire attack is good to have in any monotype leader so yeah...), Stealth Rocks is obv and Magic Coat to surprise some faster taunter.
Speed Evs to outspeed Choice Band Scizor and take it out with Fire Blast (Focus sash magic guard helps here), max SpA and good bulk.

    Old Set:
    Clefable (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Unaware
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Stored Power
    - Moonblast
    - Cosmic Power
    - Soft-Boiled
This is my Gimmickpoke.v2, and probably the star of my team. A lot of players think Clefable is just a Cleric sitting duck which pass Wishes, but not this. The strategy is simple: start using Cosmic Power and recovering with Soft-Boiled, when you are at +6 +6 sweep with Stored Power, Dark pokes are hitted hard with Moonblast too. :3
Evs to max Bulk and SpA. Unaware helps a lot too, like practically no one knows Clefable has it, so they continue to boost their pokes while I Cosmic Power, and yeah Clef wins.

    Whimsicott (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Prankster
    EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - U-turn
    - Leech Seed
    - Encore
    - Protect
Ohhh whimsicott, this thing stop so much things and setup-sweepers in its tracks like no other. Encore is the annoyer move, Leech seed into the incoming poke, Protect to regain health with leftovers + leech seed, U-turn to escape from dire situations and gain momentum.
Evs and nature are pretty straighforward.

    Azumarill (F) @ Splash Plate
    Trait: Huge Power
    EVs: 124 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 128 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Aqua Jet
    - Play Rough
    - Superpower
    - Belly Drum
This is my Gimmickpoke.v1: yeah, belly drum Azumarill. He alone can handle most members of fire, rock and maybe ground monoteams. Again other monos he is still useful, due to his high attack and priority.
128 speed to outspeed CB Scizor, a bit of bulk and max attack to hit hard. I chosed Splash Plate like item, but maybe can be changed (maybe Sitrus Berry, still idk )

    Togekiss (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Serene Grace
    EVs: 168 HP / 120 SAtk / 220 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Air Slash
    - Aura Sphere
    - Nasty Plot
    - Roost
Togekiss return stronger than ever with the new Fairy type, so being now x4 resistant to Fighting/Bug, so it counter them pretty hard. Air Slash flinch chance with Serene Grace helps too. Air Slash and Aura Sphere offer good coverage, NP and roost to sweep.
220 speed evs to outspeed Adamant Excadrill, all the other points are some bulk (with leftovers number) and some special attack.

    Gardevoir (F) @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Trace
    EVs: 48 HP / 252 SAtk / 208 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Psychic
    - Focus Blast
    - Shadow Ball
    - Trick
I needed a revenge sexy killer in my team, specially again poison and steel teams, so here is Gardevoir. Psychic, Focus Blast and Shadow Ball offer amazing coverage, trick to annoy some wall, lol.
208 speed evs to outspeed Timid MegaManectric, while already outspeeding Crobat/Megagengar and OHKOing back, a bit of bulk and max SpA.

    Mawile (F) @ Mawilite
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 128 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Play Rough
    - Sucker Punch
    - Brick Break
    - Swords Dance
I changed the Support set to this sweeper set, and it seems better on Mawile, like Fairy/Dark coverage its wonderful. Play Rough is main STAB, Sucker Punch is nice prio hitting hard even Steel pokes now, Brick Break last move to hit pokes wich resist the other too, like Lucario or Bisharp.
Evs are to outspeed choice band Scizor, some bulk and Max Attack.

    Old Set:
    Mawile (F) @ Mawilite
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 128 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Play Rough
    - Brick Break
    - Fire Fang
    - Stealth Rock
I usually lead with Mawile, like Stealth Rocks is a lot useful on monotype, and now with a megaevolution Mawile is even better. Play Rough is STAB move, Brick Break is for those steels which resist it, finally Fire Fang for scizor and friends (btw Mawile is my main scizor counter with Intimidate).
Evs are to outspeed choice band Scizor. A possible change is Sucker punch over Brick Break for priority, but idk :|

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Final Words
This team is far from perfect, it's still hard counter for mons like Skarmory, Metagross (damn steel type) and Talonflame, but it's pretty cool to use, so give it a try! :)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    - Fire Blast
    - Stealth Rock

hey nice Mono-type team u got , but i'd advise you to have that defensive backbone pokemon like sylveon or Florges and u might wanna try out klefki instead of whimsicott ,it has more resistances ,but overall its not bad ,i'd like to see it in battle :].

Hi, I'm pretty sure I played against this team earlier.

Mega Mawile really should just focus on attacking off the bat because it now has so much offensive potential, so I would change Stealth Rock to Sucker Punch, which allows you to bypass Mawile's lackluster speed stat. If you need a SR setter, I suggest using Carbink over Whimsicott (only because Whimsicott is now an even worse troll to play against.)

I think Leftovers would benefit Togekiss much more, as Leftovers recovery+Roost makes Togekiss much harder to take out, and wise glasses don't boost much anyway. I was thinking of Heal Bell > Aura Sphere mainly because it can also support the team by ridding the team of status, and Kiss can continue Air Slash flinching everything into oblivion.

I thought you might also want to try out Klefki, as it can provide your team with its Prankster T-wave+Spikes support, especially the former as your team benefits much from paralysis support. Azumaril, Mawilel and Togekiss has a much better shot at sweeping teams with Klefki's paralysis and hazard support, so that is something you definitely want to try out.

    Cool team.

Sucker Punch>something on Mawile, so probably Iron Head
Whimsicott isn't that good in practice (for my experience at least), consider Klefki, Florges or even Sylveon
Azumarill doesn't really beat every Fire, Ground or Rock (lol) team (consider Talonflame does min 44% on your set with an unboosted Acrobatics)
Togekiss does better with Leftovers Imo
Trace is just too good on Gardevoir and should be used
Cosmic Power Clefable is probably better with Magic Guard, if you decide to make Mawile an all-out attacker Clefable can support the team with SR (it learns Wish and Heal Bell too)

EDIT: Are you sure of that spread on Clefable? It's "weird"

Ty guys for the suggestions, i'm gonna make sure to test Klefki over Whimsicott for the prankster annoyer role, adding Leftovers on Togekiss too

@Draconinja: Personally i find Carbink a bit meh, ya it have great defenses, but it can't almost nothing later, gonna test Heal Bell and Sucker punch anyways

@Poli: I was exaggerating a bit there, ya Azumarill can't beat everybody, there are threats like quagsire or megacharizard to take care first, but it's good like a lategame sweeper again those monotypes. About Trace i forgot to change the ability (facepalm myself). Finally if u can help with the Clefable spread can be helpful (i'm still not totally sure about it)

Continue to send ur suggestions evryone :3

I'm not familiar with 6th gen Monotype so I'm just going by common sense. You don't have many options with mono Fairy, however Whimsicott just seems like it could do more. Memento could pair up well with Belly Drum Azumarill and SD Mega Mawile. I'd use it over Leech Seed because Encore + Protect is good.

You also kinda lack Fire-moves considering you're so weak to Steel. You could make Clefable into some kind of offensive Stealth Rock set with Magic Guard + Focus Sash and Fire Blast to lure in Scizors, then make Mawile a full SD set. Just throwing out some ideas.

It also seems worth outspeeding CB Scizor with Azumarill, considering +6 Aqua Jet OHKO's it.

Don't use SR on Mawile it just wastes you mega use Sucker Punch or Sword Dance and consider using Iron Head over Brick Break or Fire Fang so you can beat oposing Fairy teams into the ground. Gardevoir seems iffy on this team but if it works by all means use it. Klefki could be in consideration though since it provides Para support for Togekiss and can "stop" faster threats from sweeping you (Gardevoir really is kinda slow even with a Scarf). Unaware if fine on Clefable but Magic Guard is much better. gl!

Hello. Nice team you have here!

Like all others have said, I suggest changing your Stealth Rock to Sucker Punch just because it is more useful most of the time.

On your Azumarill set, I suggest changing it to a Choice Band set because it is overall more consistent than the iffy Belly Drum set.

Overall, this is a nice team. Hope I helped and good luck!

I took some suggestions, and changed Clefable to SR support leader and Mawile to Sword Dance set, ty to everyone suggestin them.
Also, now azumarill outspeed CB scizor and using Magic Guard Clefable.
Finally putting a leftovers HP number to leftovers pokes.

Btw, updating the thread with the new peak, yay!

I did other new changes, like put Gardevoir speed at 208 to outspeed max speed Megamanectric (like its the most used mega by monoelectric), and changing togekiss to a better spread.

Also, i peaked in Showdown #25 as well yay (looking forward to go higher i hope doh)

Splash Plate Azu is a fun set if you don't want to run Band, but all Belly Drum sets need Sitrus Berry. I'd say if you play well with BD Azu change the set to Sitrus. If not go for Band/Splash Plate for constancy.

I also don't particularly see the point in luring Scizor with Clefable. I don't think Sciz should ever do anything but BP ESPECIALLY considering the fact that this is a Fairy team. Plus Clefable commonly runs Fire Blast anyway.

I'd also say go with Klefki>Whimsicott if you change Azu's set. Your team LOVES Twave support and Klefki stops sweepers that want to set up speed. It also can hazard stack which your team also enjoys.
If you aren't changing Azu DEFINITELY change Whim's set. Seeding isn't going to be super helpful in this Meta. You could maybe do Encore/Memento/Stun Spore/U-Turn. Sort of mixes Klefki and Whim's utility and supports your team better than your current set by easing set up for Maw and Azu.

I also recommend Twave>Nasty Plot on Togekiss.

Anyway solid team (: with a few more changing I think it'll be pretty awesome.

Hey dude, nice teams there ;)
What do you do about the core Heatran/Aegislash?
Since you play your Clefable lead with sash, you won't kill Aegi without losing something.
Also, Sylveon could fit on the team, pretty sure Garde and Mawile need support in order to work :)
I like everything in Whims set except the uturn: in case you seed and you predict a switch, then u-turn, but the oppenent stays in and do a random steel/poison move, you're kinda screwed, so maybe you can try Substitute? Anyway, if you reached #3 it means it can work ;)

@Celebi. Thanks for suggestions man, definitively gonna test Klefki and Stun spore / Twave on Whimsicott / Togekiss. For Azumarill's item i still prefer the plate, but thats personal preference (encore from whimsicott gives Azu lot of chances to setup safely too)
And for Fire Blast, yeah now is pretty common on every monotype clefable, but at least still works :)

@Carl Murray: Ty man, yeah Heatran - Aegislash core is a bit difficult to stop, but Gardevoir is unharmed by heatran fire attacks becos Trace Flash Fire, and can trick the scarf into the incoming Aegislash, making more easier to take down it. Also NP Togekiss fares well again both, Ohkoing tran with +2 Aura Sphere, and flinching Aegislash to oblivion.

I used this team in some battles and can say that the old clefable works better than the new one. You should try something else instead of Whismicott, maybe Klefki or Sylveon (For a sylveon set check out my thread titled "Eeveelution time"). The item azumarill has should be a sitrus berry as splash plate is only VERY meh. Togekiss is good but I would recommend that you change the leftovers to a choice scarf and just spam the flinch. Gardevoir has saved me many times (Mainly against poison monos) so no change needed there. Mawile works very well and can catch the opponent off guard pretty easily (sucker punch FTW)
