Mostly on the fun aspect. Last time I saw, theme still had quite a number of people resisting to the concept, so I'd like opinions about any aspect that you feel that could be the reason some players can't enjoy the theme. Something like "Some people get bored after dying", for example, could be one of the reasons the theme doesn't sound that exciting sometimes.
You could allow dead people to poke each other. It wouldn't really do anything to the theme, just something silly. x3
I'm putting this theme for adoption. I'm rarely online on non-peak times, so I have no idea what has been happening with the theme other than the Win Data. I'm not retiring the theme yet though. I have no motivation to keep updating this theme, but unless there's some kind of problem, it won't hurt to leave it in the channel. If anyone is interested in adopting Ghosts, send me a PM here on the forums. Be aware that I won't simply give it to anyone who asks it, I may reply with "I don't think you would do a good job with this theme". If I find someone to adopt it, I'm giving full rights over the theme (AKA you won't need to ask me permission for anything after that).
I know that this is too late, but i felt a little bad for my silence about this argument, maybe this comments will be not much useful but they are the only things that I could think for this theme: On first sight it looks like a simple theme with an interesting core gameplay, but if we examine better the game, we can notice how the usefulness of the mechanic is largely limited by the small max size of the gameplay and how the only role that really interact with the core mechanic is the priest which transform the core gameplay only a little better then a theme with death chat. Another flaw maybe is that even if the core gameplay is easy to understand, it is not likewise easy to understand how to master this core gameplay to use it as help to discover the roles of the other players and help their team to win, which is true especially for the villagers. To be brief the core gameplay is a nice feature but doesn't help much as instrument to play mafia in a different way, the only core role is the priest and when he dies the game is nothing more then vanilla with deadchat. As solutions I could suggest to make some roles able to interact more with the ghost gameplay, here some ideas: -A necromancer that could transform the ghost players into his undead army if he converts them before then the priest, - A Lich role that becomes more powerful when he gets killed or gets resurrected by the priest, - A Devil which instead to kill he can devour the ghost players and if he devour a precise number of ghosts he will automatically win, - For the village I don't know personally what to suggest sorry, maybe a Medium with a small chance to hax or day-hax the good ghosts if they use a dummy restricted command or maybe the inverse with the ghosts able to hax the Medium. Another suggestion could be that to make the deathchat more useful, for exemple giving to the ghosts some task that only they can do like getting some sort of information that only the ghosts will be able to get and then reveal it to the players still alive, or maybe some ghosts could be able to sacrifice their soul and be completely dead to bring back to life another fellow ghost. As I said before I think that the gameplay suffers because can spawn only 12 players too. Personally i think that this theme would have more opportunities if it was expanded into a peak version but maybe it would be a pain to expand it. Those are the only things that I could come up, sorry if I posted them too late. EDIT---------------------------------- I noticed the existence of the Mortician only now XP
